Good morning, DDA! Here's a :grouphug: and some :sunny: for anyone that needs it!

I need some advice, please. Does anyone have a good source to order glow necklaces, bracelets etc from? I ordered from Oriental Trading the last time I needed some, and I wasn't very happy with the brightness of them. Anyone have any other ideas for a source?

Thanks!

We also had a trip to the dentist today, I called to cancel ours for the 23rd and they had a cancellation for today so I picked up the kids from school and they were not very happy :teeth:

We then went to an early sushi dinner.

Do your kids eat sushi? Eric and I love it but don't get to go that often as Emma hates it. I am hoping she accquires a taste for it and soon.

I just checked the weekend weather and it is back up in the air, 40% chance of rain for Friday and 30% chance for Saturday. I have our rain gear packed as the show must go on. We had a Webelos meeting tonight and we practiced some songs and skits, it was a lot of fun and should be just a small portion of the campfire on friday night. Colby got home and was practicing the songs so he could do it too. Too cute.

Our female dog Tiffany is 12 years old has been acting very strange for several weeks now, never standing for long, but moving then immediately sitting down. She has been dragging her behind alot on the carpet too. We have been checking, but havent been able to see anything wrong with her. Well I checked her out again tonight and she has open sores on her anus and ******l area. I have no idea what would cause these sores. I guess we'll be off to the Vets office tomorrow. It seems that whenever we're planning to leave town we have to visit the Vet first. Our Male dog has been having old age issues for almost a year now and we have expected him to pass on since last September, but he is still hanging on. He is so lame in his hind legs that he has trouble getting up and walking, but there is nothing that they can do for him and he seems otherwise healthy, now issues with the female. I knew that they were growing older, but didn't expect them to both have problems at the same time. If anyone has had any similar experiences I would love to hear about them.

Deb

Here's more :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for the weather. And :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for the dogs. I wish I had some advice.

We got ours at the Dollar Tree if you have one in your area, check them out. I was just in ours again the other day and they still had lots.

I've seen several posts on the boards around Halloween saying they got really good deals on them from EBay.

You all have to see what Dawn and I are talking about, if you haven't yet:

Are these not adorable?! :rotfl:

Emma is sitting here with me, she is staying home from school today as her ear is bothering her. Well she just saw these and "Mom, I HAVE to HAVE THESE" she tells me in her most serious grown up voice. I guess I know where I am going on the way home from the doctors. Thanks everyone. I was trying to avoid these as I knew once I saw how cute they really are I would want them.

It was the last night of Awana's and we had awards so I missed most of it. If anyone happens to have a PM they wrote up and can forward to me, I'd be grateful! :sunny:
OMG, so much happened! You can watch it here: http://dynamic.abc.go.com/streaming/landing

You'll like it so much better if you watch it yourself than someone else telling you, but if you don't want to watch or don't have time, PM me and when I get home later I'll try to remember everything for you.

This is my middle name as well & spelled the same :goodvibes

Want some of ours?!?! We're on our 3rd day straight now. Of course, according to the weather map/forecast it's not raining right now, but I figure when the fog is so heave that the whole city is a fog of mist, that still counts. And the forecast shows rain clear until NEXT Thursday. YUCK! I will be so happy to be in CA this weekend with forecasts of sun and low 70s!! :sunny:

weather.com is showing rain/showers every day of the 10 day forecast (until May 20th) for us. I sure hope that it is wrong, though I guess we need some rain.

Hello DDA! (Whenever I write "hello" I always want to put a "w" at the end....)

Everyone is talking about Disney themed rooms! My girlfriend and I painted her son's room in horizontal strips about two years ago. It turned out perfect for the new Car's movie themed room. He has a race car bed, and the black strip now has yellow dash marks on it for a race track. He loves it!

My computer room is my Disney room. I have a poster of the castle with Cinderella's shoe on the steps saying "Believe". It's a WDW Travel Co. poster from their wedding/honeymoon collection. The rest on the wall are lithographs from movies...Nemo and Mary Poppins. We have a lithograph from the Downtown Disney art store from 2001, way back when you could get one from the old Silver Plan. The last three are photo collages from our trips. :teeth: It's great seeing all the memories on the wall! When we paint this fall, the Toy Story pattern with the clouds is going up behind the pictures. :)

Since I didn't take notes, :cheer2: and :wizard: and :grouphug: to everyone out there!!!

PS: Congrats on the Dolphin!! Make sure you request Hang on Sloopy for me at Jellyrolls, since you're now able to "boat home" without any trouble! (Walking would involve walking all the way around the lake!!!)

We are in the process of doing Molly's room. I got this border
25463_Z.jpg

from Disneyshopping.com for $3.99 a roll. I wanted to do her room in Mickey and Minnie but also be something that isn't so cartoonish and that she can grow into. The price is what really had me. I bought 5 rolls as I am going to put it on her dresser after I paint it. It is a handme down and it has these great drawer fronts that will let me cut out the border and stick in there. Emma has the matching dresser and I just did hers with her leftover border. It turned out so cute. I will have to take a picture as I don't think my description makes much sense.

I have to make a proud mommy brag!

Christopher has almost finished his second week of swimming lessons and he's been doing great except for swimming across the pool (I'm not good with distances, but this pool is much wider than a standard pool). He can do it but would always panic. This morning he told me this was his nervous day because he was going to swim across the pool today. I talked to him about setting a goal and that he should reward himself if he makes his goal.

Well, he did it!!! He got up for his breaths and quickly got horizontal again. He flew across the pool! His coach and I knew he could do it if he just got past the mental part of it. She gave him a little medal and told him he was the first of they boys to be able to do it. He was very proud of himself!

He also jumped off the diving board and swam to the side. He did this all last summer but the fear overtook him and I had to bribe him with an Icee to get him to do it again but now he thinks it's easy. We decided to let him join the swim team next week.

Speaking of his coach, Clare I think of you every time I see her. She is from England. As far north as you can get without hitting Scotland is how she described it. She has that beautiful accent that (for me anyway) sounds very similar to an Australian accent. She's an awesome person. I told her about you and your "Clarisms" (did I spell that right Amy ;) ) and I mentioned Bob's your uncle. She laughed and said she totally confused her American husband when she said that because he really has an uncle named Bob.

:cheer2: :cheer2: Way to Go, Christopher. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Emma just started swimming lessons and she loves them!

You almost had it! One too many "e's"

I hate my screen name, way to long.
I think your screen name is cute but until the other day I always "read" nemo at the end. It's funny how your brain sometimes reads things that aren't there.

Good luck to Emma!

Thanks all for the well wishes for Christopher. He has some motor issues and weakness in his upper body so he has to work really hard at sports. He's too hard on himself and thinks everyone can do everything better than him so it was nice that he had something where he was able to shine.

Kate-I do have an ADR for Teppanyaki for dinner on Sat the 20th but I don't think we'll do it. I think my friend from Jacksonville (we met in 3rd grade-before most of you guys were born :teeth: 1969) and her DD Lizzie's age will be joining us early Sat am and leaving early Sun am. I thought about changing Sat to Garden Grill but we decided to just do counter service and have more park time.

I used illuminationz.com. I bought 200 back in Oct 2004 thinking I would give 100 of them to a friend who was going to WDW too but of course I ordered them too late to give to her....so.....I still have some left and just used a few on my trip last week. While they didn't all still work-many/most of them did-they say they have a 1 year shelf life. Here's the link:

You should have seen the ridiculous amount of pms and time we spend debating the switch - let's just hope it doesn't take us that long to decide which rides to go on!! :rotfl: we might only get on one ride the whole weekend!!! :lmao: :lmao:
I just wanted to comment on this too. It was a riot with the 3 of us PMing back and forth. We finally weighed out the pros and cons and the extra added benefit of being at the boardwalk really sealed the deal. That by far is worth the potential extra $30 we may have to pay for Mears. I can't wait! Who wants to do the 1 more week dance??? :dancer:
