Welcome Back Bernadette!! Sounds like you had a blast!! Morroco is one of my favorite places to walk around and snack in. Glad you enjoyed POFQ too! :)

Have to share this photo with you. I took this while eating outside of the Morocco CS. Its one of my favorite photos from the trip.

I wear earplugs now. Used to lose a lot of sleep our first year of marriage til I thought of this (He also snores and that keeps me awake w/out plugs) Ironically enough even with plugs I'm first to hear the kids or baby cry :confused3

I have been wearing earplugs for about 7 years now. Just was not ready to sleep alone in separate bed. Sometimes though he seems to snore louder and that is when I go to the recliner. Plus I wear an eye mask so if he gets up early I won't see the light he turns on. With the plugs all I hear is my alarm and nothing else.

That picture is GORGEOUS!!

It looks so professionl - you should blow it up and frame it!!!

I agree - it has a wonderful "feel" to it that I can't quite describe. It just feels good to look at it.

Wedding pictures! A little background info: I've known the bride since 1995, since I worked with her father at Princeton. We love her whole family and we hang out all the time!

Amy :)

Amy, The pictures are great. The bride's dress looks pretty.

Hi All! I'm back but still recovering....It was a great trip. The weather was perfect and I think I managed to pack some of that nice warm stuff and bring it home. It is stranage to be doing laundry today and see all the wintery clothes the kids were wearing when I was gone and it was in the 40's and rainy here.

I did lots of first on our trip-EE-it was a bit intense but great. I'm still not sure about Lizzie-I'm sure she'll love it but the Yeti does appear to be just about to grab you. Did SM for the first time and loved it. Did RnR for the 2nd time and was surprised that other than the start it is actually rather tame. I was terified the first time I did it. I've had to learn to be brave for Lizzie.

We did CS in Morroco and it was great. Did Boma for dinner and it was great. Had a rainbow margarita by Mexico-boy are those strong. Had a Curly Wurly from UK and Chik-fil-A at the airport.

The FLower Fest was awesome! I would definately go in May again. We had relatively low crowds. We were able to ride EE first when the park opened and then did Safari with little wait. We did fast pass a few rides but most rides had little wait (even when the sign outside would say 20 minutes).

We all really enjoyed POFQ. I think my DH will like it there when we go in August.

Thanks to Beth who did the Pooh design. I had all the Pooh characters sign a card "Can't wait to celebrate your birthday with you." I just need to make the T now. Thanks also to Kristen-I used your designs to make a Tigger card for Emma and Mickey card for Joe "Can't wait to see you in August.". I bought Emma a Pooh T and Joe a Test Track Mickey T. I also bought the Test Track Mickey for Joe and I have a Tigger from the Disney Store for Emma. I'll have to take photos and post them. I'm still uploading all my trip photos.

Vicky-did you get my email? It was so hard to take photos with the camera phone. It was so bright that you couldn't see the screen. I also send a post card via snail mail. Did you have any notes for me? :teeth:

After I do my laundry I think I'll start packing for my next trip. :cool1: I think the crowds will be a lot bigger. I've been reading about folks being offered an upgrade out of Pop to a 1 bedroom at SSR. I think they haven't offered it to me because I've got a AP discount on the room. I hope things aren't too crazy when I there with Lizzie or for the DDA trip. I'm also a bit worried about how hot it would be. It was 93 on Thursday. I would be happier with 87.

I've got laundry and house work to do. Hope everyone is doing OK.

Chanon-I've got your brochures. I'll go to the PO on Monday.

Denise-I never did make it to the PO before my trip but I WILL go on Monday.

Bernadette

Good to hear your trip was such fun. What building number did you stay in at POFQ? Steffy and I stayed in #4 last year and our mousekeeper Fanny was just the best.

I'm an aunt again!!!! Woohoo!!!!!! :cool1: My brother & his wife had their baby yesterday. He called me at 12:54 am and scared me to death. I don't like getting calls in the middle of the night!!!!!!

I found myself holding my breath when I asked girl or boy. Normally, it doesn't matter to me as long as the child is healthy. However, this was different. My brother is 43 years old. He is a Jr. and he is the only grandson to carry on the family last name - Dad had 12 brothers & sisters - his brothers either had no children or girls - there are 30+ grandchildren total and he is the only one to carry on the last name. When my dad died, my brother talked at the funeral about how important it was to him to have a son to carry on the name for my grandfather & father. That was more than 8 years ago. Well ...... there is now a great grandson to carry on the family name. Mom & baby are doing great. Yeah! Thank you God!!!! I lay awake for an hour saying thanks because it was so important to my brother.

Yeah Vicki!!! Congrats to the new family!!

CHANON:

I read that there is a $10 trial membership available for AAA - do you know anything about this?!?!?!

I have trouble with motion sickness but was determined to ride MS at least once, the signs posted along the que made me nervous about getting sick but what really did me in were the "bags" on the console. I survived with only a mild case of queasiness, but I wasn't impressed enough to ride it again though. The whole family is anxious to give EE a try. :bounce:
Hi....glad to see you posting on this thread.

I'm with you on the MS thought. I've done it once, no need to do it again.

Matt's team - Team France - kicked the butts off the opponent today. Final score was 6-2

....oh you asked who they played??

Team ENGLAND :teeth:
:rotfl2:

Great job, Matt.

Nicholas' had a game today too. And they didn't lose today, for a change!! Of course they didn't win either. It was a 2-2 tie, which is better than losing!

Today was picture day at soccer as well. I will post his pix a little later. I would post the team picture, but I don't think other parents would appreciate it.

EE was awesome! My DD17 and I went on it and the line was so short that day (it wasn't "officially" open yet) so we snuck back on while my DH & DD20 were waiting for us. It was great.

Welcome to this thread! There are a great bunch of women & a couple of awesome men on here.
