did you say you got All-stars on Priceline -

how did you do this?

Tammi - maybe we should try for a priceline room

I saw the info here:
http://www.mousesavers.com/asmbargain.html

This is the listing of people who have gotten what for May/June:
http://www.geocities.com/disneybratwvu/priceline.htm?20063

I got mine by putting in for just one day at a time so that I wouldn't lose out the whole weekend to a bad choice. It looks like you might not have a good chance for the first half of your trip so it may not be worth it.

I had 350 people at my wedding - it was New Year's Eve - everyone told me that they have never been so drunk as they were at my wedding!

I got such a huge deal on my liquor - the hall had just opened and he had in his paperwork that liquor was 1/2 price if you got married other than Fri/Sat

his price was only 9.00 a person for an open bar to begin with for 4 hours

since I wanted 5 hours - he charged me $5.50 a person and threw in a champagne toast at midnight - I am SURE that man lost a LOT of money on my wedding!!! My sister had the highest liquor bill ever at the hotel she got married at - so imagine pretty much the same group of people on New Years Eve!!!!!

He now charges $22 for an open bar - probably still recovering from my wedding!! :lmao:

After that, I'm surprised his business survived. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

What a GREAT deal! Ours was $16.50pp for beer and wine (drinks only, not food).... I still think they lost money with Kyle's family! :teeth:

Jen

It was at the Manor House

I think it was an AMAZING deal - even way back then!! ;) and it was a full open bar

That's great! I don't know what the price was for full bar, as NOBODY in his family drinks anything but beer, and my family (for the most part) doesn't drink at all. I want to say it was in the low 20's, but that could be totally wrong. I could also be mixing up the food costs for the various options.

We had ours at the 20th Century Theater in Oakley. I don't know what made me go in there, as it's not much from the outside -- but it was SO beautiful, and very unique!

My best friend had her reception at the Manor House last year, it was very nice :)

Well, I'm off to bed too. I'm tired and have to get up early to get Becky to her karate testing. See you all tomorrow!!

Are you all going to move on me and not tell me where you've gone??!! :lmao:

No, I'm sorry. I should edit my post.

I had posted saying that all this wedding talk was on the same page as our wedding year, then I promptly put that date : 06-05-04..... which is CLEARLY not 2005. I just couldn't count for a second :rolleyes1

I'm the exact opposite -- I like the bed to myself!! No cover hogging...

Me too! Phil is a total cover hog and Terra is a bed hog. Plus, Phil hates having anyone too close because then he keeps scooting over until he feels like he's hanging on the edge of the bed. We actually solved the problem by getting Phil is own bed! :rotfl: Phil sleeps on a twin bed pushed up next to the queen bed. I sleep on the queen in the middle of the two beds and Terra sleeps by the wall. Something about having his own set of covers and a designated spot of his own and we have ALL be sleeping much more easily. It's crazy, I know, but it works.

My in-laws have two twin beds side by side with their own set of sheets & blankets. They have a king size bedspread over both so it looks like a king size bed.

ETA: Ok, I'm really going to bed now. Good night all!!!

this thread is a woman who took the segway tour and loved it SO much that she BOUGHT one!!!

HMMMMMM........ this tour might cost more than we anticipated!!! :bitelip:
I used to know a dealer...

who sold Segways, he was a rep at the University of Miami in Florida. I'm not sure if he still sells them or not. It was a pretty cool gig as he got a Segway to use all over campus.

OK - who's got the damn brain -- I certainly don't! :teeth:

Marti,
somehow I think I got someone's brain today because I became superwoman and did entirely too much at work :lmao:

Good night all! I am beginning to tempt fate I think so I had better go to bed. It is a proven (well almost anyway) fact that the later I stay up on Fri or Sat night the earlier Terra will wake me up in the morning. What is with that anyway?!?! Isn't it enough that I get up at 5am every other morning without her getting me up at 5:30 on the weekends?

Well fellow cult members, I must get the floor picked up and toys organized before DH comes home for his two nights off. I will be back in about 48 hours give or take a few.:teeth:

48 hours of ODTT, that would be TMI. (But have a grand time anyway :teeth: )

We're on the year of my college graduation! And almost the right day, too! :thumbsup2

ETA: Oh yeah, and Kyle's med school graduation, but whatever ;)
