Just went back and read the past few pages. Glad I could be the source of fun! Well, I'm exhausted after a LONG day and headed to bed. called the GI Doc and talked to his nurse for an hour about Rees. She is going to speak with him. I laid it all out (getting another opinion, etc). We'll see what happens.

Oh, and I got so worked up over Rees that I vomited acid all night with stress. Then we had a bad thunderstorm, so the kids were up all night too. So, i'm off to bed. I'll check in tomorrow.

I'm so sorry you're under so much stress and going through this. Your family will continue to be in our prayers.

I was hoping to be around for the milestone tonight but things are too slow. I better head off to bed. I have to be up at 4:30 in the morning to be to a meeting in Marquette. Good night DDA friends. Congrats to whoever gets the milestone.

Hey, you're right! I guess that's ok.

Good luck with your studying. I bit the bullet last night and took my last final. So, offiicially, I'm done with school! Hooray! I feel pretty good about the test, but you never know. It was a lot of cataloging, and I think I did quite well on that!

Anyway, I'm a free soul now and can focus on our quickie trip to DL. Then our annual summer family reunions, and camping trips. It's going to be a very full summer. Hooray! No time for the kids to be bored!

He's such a cutie - and I'm glad he wasn't too traumatised by the whole thing. he's feeling better real soon.

And some for you too for being a brave mommy - and for insisting they check him over further

my little guy is such a trooper -

we tried one more time to get him to willingly go in the machine - no dice - I told him - you can lay down or they will give you a shot

he said "me get shot"

by the time we saw the doctor and get ready for the sedative - it was about 2:00 and he was fading quick - I still hoped he wouldn't need the sedative - but as soon as he saw the machine - he tried to run -

I felt so HORRIBLE holding him down for the IV and once they give the sedative you can't stroke them b/c the skin is too sensitive - I was holding his hand and looking in his eyes and he was pleading with me to make them stop - it was awful - thankfully he fell asleep on the first push of the IV and they did not have to give him too much medicine

he slept for two hours after - when we woke him up and he wanted the IV out - I told him once he drank his juice they would take it out - he drank his juice and when the nurse walked over with crackers he said "TAKE THIS OUT!!" she thought he was hilarious and everyone agreed he was just fine and could go home

he is asleep now - but they said he will be wobbly for the night and tomorrow - he fell off the couch twice within five minutes of getting home while trying to move around on it

and then he thought it was HILARIOUS to run around my family room b/c he was so wobbly - it was like he had the effects of spinning without spinning so he thought that was GREAT

he is mad at me b/c I wouldn't get him McDonald's on the way home - so Steve is bringing it - he had to keep down soft food first - which he did

we are going to give him tylenol and hope the headaches go away this week - I love the doctor - she gave me her cell phone and told me to call her if I need her - now that is a GREAT doctor

thank you all for your thoughts and prayers - it means the world to me that you all are here to support me!!!

I rescheduled my doctor appointment Friday afternoon and should know more about my knee then!

Anne Marie- that is such a beautiful thing for him to say to you. You should print your post out and then when he's older and driving you nuts you can get it out and read it

The early birds (who I'm usually one of) are going to wake up and go "OMG, they were chatty last night". Then when it only takes them 15 minutes to read all of us waiting for Denise to see she stole the milestone, they'll be happy again!!!!

I am skimming all the posts waiting for Denise to respond. I sure hope I don't miss anything momentous!
