MrsHeg -- congrats on your daughter's graduation, and thank you for sharing the pictures. I think it really hits home when you see personal pictures that someone is willing to share.
Here's a recipe for a dip that is always a hit. I don't know if you are willing to use ones that need to be cooked first, but if you are, here it is:
Artichoke Dip
4 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
4 ounces parmesan cheese, grated
1 14 oz. can artichoke hearts, drained
½ cup chopped green onions
½ teaspoon garlic salt
½ cup mayonnaise
Paprika for seasoning
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together cheeses, artichoke hearts, green onions, garlic salt and mayonnaise. Sprinkle paprika over the top. Bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbly. I have tried this with low-fat ingredients, and it is still good.
Good luck with the party!
