Last thing and then back to bed (worst migraine I've ever had)

My Uncle Gerald passed away last night. I just can't handle all the saddness anymore. Good man, good family. Makes me miss my mom (breast cancer) I'm going back under the covers

Marti -- I'm so sorry to hear about your Uncle. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are able to get some rest and try to sleep away the worst of the migraine.

Nicks fever is up to 104 -

I have a call in to the doctor

thank goodness my mom is still willing to watch him tonight - am I a bad mommy still wanting to go

I did force him to take some tylenol - I told him if he didn't I was going to put the medicine in his butt - he opened his mouth right up

Kate -- I hope Nick's fever goes down quickly -- that is so scary to me -- when a fever goes that high.

And no, you aren't a bad mommy!

Is it dumb that even though this is an Internet class, and I don't actually see anyone, we just use a microphone link up, I am "power dressed" for this presentation? I even did my hair and makeup. It gives me confidence I think. I am wearing my Mickey Mouse earrings, and my 50th Anniversary Disneyland bracelet! Makes me happy!

I'll pop in tonight and report on how it went.

I had heard wonky before, but a new one for me was when my dentist's assistant called something caddy whompus (I have no clue if I spelled that right or not).

it's kitty whompus in my house.....but we always have been a little wonky.

I panic

the nurse calls and I take a rectal - thank goodness it was only 102.6 - but we are headed in for an appointment - can hurt right?

Wow! I did wonder where you went to classes. Mine is internet based but only by forum - which no one actually posts on! I think I need to bring my course mates by so y'all can show them how it's done

It might scare them away!

I have enjoyed my classes as they are, for the most part, self-paced. I buy the books, do the assigned readings, attend the once weekly lectures/discussions, and do the research projects, papers, etc. However, I do miss actually being in a classroom setting. I really enjoy the whole learning thing.

Clare, what are you working toward with your schooling? How much longer do you have? I know it was much harder for me working and going to school at the same time. Definitely worth it in the end though!!!!

I got all teary just reading someone else's post about how they get all emotional and start cheering during Fantasmic when the boat comes around the corner. Yup, that's me too!
