Amy - what did your doctor say today about your blood pressure?

Everything's good! My blood pressure was fine and my glucose blood test results were completely normal, but I'm not going to share my weight with you! :teeth:

Can you believe I'm on two-week appointments now?!! I also have another ultrasound on May 10th to determine if my placenta moved up.

Amy :)

thank you, she is a bit lethargic, she wants to just watch tv or sleep. this is the kid who always wants to go go go.

Thank you fora talking to me while I wait for the on-call line to open. I hate this (!*&^#)!*%(#%.

Stay cool - literally! She's fighting something so naturally she doesn't want to go go go... You MUST keep giving her sips of water or a popsicle, something to keep her hydrated. I must stress MUST.

You know, I was thinking about this the other night. What do you all think about have a stickey thread, Trips Reports from Pal Mickey? Then after each trip, the DDA person that has him could post his trip report. Could all 3 of the PMs go on the same thread or do you want one for each PM?

That DDA brain is being shared again. I sent a pm to Denise & Theresa about this yesterday. We are each going to make a thread for our pals so that we can get their travels separate and keep an eye on our own guys. People can post pictures, keep us updated on how they are doing. We have given each one a nickname also to keep them separate. Mine is Nicky, Theresa's is Andy and Deb's is Brooksie. We will create the threads within the next day or two. We'll have info on who gets them next & when they have to be there as well as other things.

Hey all

I am glad you all like your new signatures!!

I got bad news today - I had a follow up with my doctor this afternoon - he said my knee muscles are strengthening but my knee is not responding as it should and he immediately stopped PT - I am going for an MRI in about 20 minutes and he is HOPING that he might be able to surgically correct it -

I don't know what it will mean if he can't

I am walking out the door now and won't know anything until I see him again next Wed. - I could really use some :wizard:
:wizard: :wizard: as requested.

Denise -

I am glad things went well today - I really hope that Rees (and all the Figs) have a great summer!!

Have you started the acidic diet or is that only over the weekend when the sensor is in? As someone who had acid reflux - I feel for the little guy - I don't even have a severe case and I know how painful it can be!!

How are the boys liking Karate?

Where is the picture of BK as Belle? Julia was asking about her the other day - I really need to plan a trip to Atlanta - if only gas prices weren't soaring out of control!!

Yes we need a visit from the Queen!!

Glynis I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your signature

Thanks, Terry! I love yours, too! Kate is amazing, isn't she?

I know what you mean. Last year when we were at Disney Garrett was running a temp of 103 & broke out in a rash. We stripped him other than his underclothes & kept putting cold towels on him. We finally had to have him take a cold bath. Needless to say dh & I slept with our clothes on that night, just in case we had to go to the emergency room.

Hope your dd is feeling better soon. Keep us posted! :wizard:

Nothing really to add other than what Kate and Tammi have said. I just wanted to add in a little :wizard: and :grouphug: for Bethie. I hope that she is up and driving you  soon.

Me too! :teeth: Kate is absolutely amazing! I don't know how she does it, but she finds exactly the right design for each of us.

Is it just me, but I can't see Glynis' or Theresa's new siggies. I've tried refreshing several times. Any other ideas?

Paula -- hope Bethie's temp goes down and she feels better ASAP! Sending prayers and PD! :wizard: :wizard:

I am going to curl up on my couch and watch last night's Gilmore Girls -

I might be back later if I don't fall asleep!!

The MRI went fine - does anyone know how to read one? Cause I have no idea what I am looking at - although I have the films

I actually found it relaxing - listening to music - I almost fell asleep!! :teeth:

I have to wait until next Wednesday - I can tell you one thing I am NOT having surgery before May 18 - I am going to WDW!!!

Tomorrow night - I am going to see Les Mis - it is my all-time favorite show so that will help lift my spirits!!!

Oh, I love Les Miz! I don't think there's ever been a musical that caters to every possible emotion like that one does! I'm so glad that you are going to see it! You deserve something that will make you feel better!

On a different note, has anyone here read the unabridged book "Les Miserables?" That was my project a couple of years ago. If you haven't read it, don't! Or at least get the abridged version! It just doesn't move along like the musical does!

Enjoy yourself, Kate! I'll keep praying that all goes well with your knee and that you won't need surgery! Let us know!

Oh honestly sometimes I so do not like the military. I have to wait for the Dr to call me back. GGGRRRRRR.

Thank you so much for listening/reading, DH is gone and I can’t talk to him for a few more hours, my friend (not on the pay roll anymore) is on a conference call (she’s a loan officer) even my mother is not answering her phone. Blah blah blah…

I am putting her in the bath again, if this was Ellie I wouldn’t stress so much, but Elizabeth just freaks me out when she does this junk.

what an OUTSTANDING group of people you all are. I feel a bit better just knowing you are here.

It sounds like the bug my kids had a couple of weeks ago! I think you're on the right track, though. Keep alternating the medicine every couple of hours, and if it gets above 103 get her to a doctor immediately.

If I recall correctly, our pediatrician has mentioned that fevers will get worse at night. So, don't let that worry you too much, unless it continues to go up. You can also try an alcohol rub down. That's worked for my kids in the past.

Good luck. Keep her calm, and hydrated as much as possible, but avoid dairy foods, as they will aggravate her tummy, and make her throw up more. Pedialyte is really gentle and easily tolerated.

:grouphug: to her and to you.
