Dinner was so much fun. Julia and Lynn are wonderful. We had a really good time. We talked for 3+ hours. Poor waiter, we didn't even order for almost an hour 'cause we couldn't find the time to look at the menu. I had the Thai Steak Salad, Lynn had crab cakes and a salad, and Julia had the salmon salad. And of course we had Diet Coke to drink. I think we each had 3 or 4 glasses. All of us got cheesecake to go. Hunka, I got John the Oreo chocolate! I've had a little of my Carrot Cake Cheesecake. It's so rich. We're going to do a family cookout this summer with the kids and husbands. It was wonderful to meet some DDAers!

Here's a picture of us after dinner. BTW, Lynn commented on how her b**b makes my waist look so tiny! I told her she has to be in all my pictures from now on.

Defenitely!!! I would like to have it after Jo (Brendita) is moved down here so we can all get together. We will have to ask her a moving date so we can start throwing some dates around.

Absolutely!!!! Anything that you have a passion for can drive you to be excellent - musical instruments, sports, cooking, gardening, ... The list is endless.

Goodness - there must be something exciting going on, as you guys have posted 24 pages since I last checked the thread at 6 p.m. CST! No time to catch up now, but I hope whatever it is has been fun!

Thanks so much for the PM's wondering where I've been the last couple of days. Unfortunately, I'm on my schedule of working 12-15 hour days with not an end in sight anytime soon. The new assistant isn't working out very well so far, but I'm still persisting with the plan to go on my Kauai trip. I think I'm going to need it more for my sanity by that time than anything else!

Know that I'm reading along, and will post and comment as I can. My thoughts, pixie dust, and prayers are still here, though!
