Well, the Geek Squad has to come back Sunday...can you believe that? What a bunch of dorks!

They come all dressed up, almost like cops...with a badge and everything. It reminded me of one of those stripper guys..I was waiting for the music to start!

1. Denise has been to WDW many times as a child, with her grandmother I believe.
2. Denise honeymooned there 10 years ago.
3. Denise, John, and figs went in Nov. 05
4. you always and Denise always seem to be posting aroundabout the same timeframe.

Thanks. It is her boyfriend. They have been dating for a little over a month now. They have known each other for more than a year. I'm very proud of her but a little sad at the same time. Plus, she and Katrina look so alike (& so much like me at that age) that it is kind of eerie. I'll post some of Katrina at her senior prom when I find them.

I made all of the costumes except the blow up dragon, pumpkin and toucan. I got a really good deal on those we have a blow up elephant too, but none of them have wanted to wear it.

We had a good day. Slept in, and I made a big ole Southern b'fast with biscuits, grits, eggs, bacon. Yummy! Then BK had a princess dress-up b'day tea party. She went as Belle and looked so pretty. I took some pics and will try to post later. After the party we went to the large indoor outlet mall, walked around, went to Bass Outdoor Pro shop to see the aquarium/boats/rock wall. We ate dinner at Johnny Rockets and then rode the carousel. They have the tea cups (like WDW) on it, so guess what the kids and I picked! We spun so fast I thought we were all going to be sick. It was so much fun!!! They are in bed, and DH and I are relaxing.

Oh, and BK got bit by a spider last night on her ankle. It has a big ulcer and is oozing now. It doesn't look like a Brown Recluse bite, but if it's not better we'll have to go to the doctor.

It went surprisingly well. The horrible rainy weather they were predicting held off until 8:00 last night which allowed us to go to the cemetery. That was important to my broghter and sister and me since we had not been able to do that when my Dad died. (It snowed 37 inches the day he died and it continued to snow for the next 3 months. It was horrible.)

We got to see old friends and people from the neighborhood where we grew up. Most of the adults from that time are gone, but the few who are left came, as well as relatives we had not seen in years. A dear friend from Fredericksburg drove up for the funeral and then back home. I was stunned as it is a good 6 hour trip!

Most importantly, my siblings and I got to reconnect and it was terrific. It has been 6 years since we were all together and we had so much fun last night when we went out to dinner. We laughed and cried and had a little too much to drink and it was wonderful.

Again, the love I have received from all the DDA friends has been such a comfort to me. Thanks to all of you one more time.

Welcome back, Elin. I am glad that everything went well. That is great that you got to spend some quality time with your siblings.

Great news! I hope Cody heals quickly

We got the biopsy report back on Friday too. It was malignant & it was a mass cell tumor. The vet said that he thinks he got all of the tumor. They rank the tumors on a scale of 1-3, 1 being the best, 3 being the worst. Cody's was a 1, he has a 90% chance of this never coming back again, but he said that if it does come back it is almost always fatal. It come back in the lungs, kidneys, etc. He said we would know it was back because he would just get really sick really quickly. Hopefully we will never have to worry about this!!!!

Not me! That would require actually getting my hubby to go to WDW with me. He says he's going on the family tip in Feb, but I'll believe it when I see him board the plane. Silly man!
