I called and it is all booked up for your time, I also checked the 9:00 & and the 9:30 and they only have openings for 3. I will check again once it gets closer and also once we get there, but it is my bad luck for not booking it sooner. I don't mind skipping it, I can be the DDA photographer for the morning if they will let me in the park if it hasn't opened yet.

Off to soccer, then a church luncheon...somewhere along the road 10 loads of laundry have to get done!

Finally caught up.

Well, Nicholas was supposed to have a soccer game at 830 this morning. I get up at 7 and call the cancellation line, because it is supposed to rain and storm here all day, but is not at the moment. None. So John and I get showered and ready. I call again before waking the kids. Still no cancellations. Get them up, fed, dressed. I pack water/snacks. Call again. Still none. Load up the car and head to the field. Guess what!! Just as we were pulling in they were locking the gates. They canceled the game 15 minutes before start time. I was soooo mad. And it still WASNT RAINING! My thoughts on this is everyone that had an 830 game was already on the road so you might as well play, and if it starts raining, then call the game. So when we got home I called Parks and Rec to find out who was in charge of cancelations. I will be sure to give her a call on Monday and let her know my thoughts.

Sorry for the rant. I needed to let off some steam.

This is officially my 3000th post and I would like to thank you all for getting me here and for the entertaining day. I should have gotten much more done today, but spent it here with my friends. I totally forgot about that!!

Julie was in the pizza line - Amy was in charge of the kids (she is a very brave woman and yes I know my two were the only problems ) and I was in the other food line

so Amy and I had each given Julie our money for pizza -

then Julie tells us some other woman walked up to her and asked her to buy her pizza for her so she could get in the other food line

AND JULIE DID IT!!!!

we were cracking up laughing - who would go up to a complete stranger and ask her to buy her lunch for her?

I skimmed but there is too much from yesterday and I have to get ready for tonight and run some errands

Took forever to get my mom due to storms - I was an hour late getting to the airport - so we went to dinner when we got home

then Steve and I watched Band Camp - not as good as the original American Pies

then I fell sound asleep - I have not been sleeping well this week - I really needed a good night's rest

Well, the Geek Squad has to come back Sunday...can you believe that? What a bunch of dorks!

They come all dressed up, almost like cops...with a badge and everything. It reminded me of one of those stripper guys..I was waiting for the music to start!

Hi Everybody;

Sorry I wasn't around at all yesterday, I can't even begin to catch up but I did skim a few pages, looks like I missed a lot of fun!!!! I was on a cleaning rampage yesterday, and I tackled the basement, I got SO much done!!! I am going to work down there today too, and hopefully it will be done by the end of the weekend!!!! I literally worked down there for over 12 hours straight, everything is organized and neat. I have SO much for my garage sale, Now starts the part I am dreading the most, putting the prices on everything!!!!

I am feeling tons better, I guess it was some kind of upper respiratory infection or something because I lost the sore throat and it went into my chest and head. Thanks for all of the get well wishes they definitely worked!!!!

Cody came home yesterday, his incision looks nasty!!!! He is shaved all over, and I have a hard time looking at his incision. He needs a lot of extra care, we can't take him outside except on a leash until his sutures are removed on the 1st, he has lots of meds. to take. I'll spare you the rest of the gory details but I think we will have our hands full w/ him for the next few weeks, but it is worth it to have him home!!! All I heard every time I called to check on him or I talked to the vet was what a wonderful sweet dog he is, they had a hard time sending him home!!!

We got the biopsy report back on Friday too. It was malignant & it was a mass cell tumor. The vet said that he thinks he got all of the tumor. They rank the tumors on a scale of 1-3, 1 being the best, 3 being the worst. Cody's was a 1, he has a 90% chance of this never coming back again, but he said that if it does come back it is almost always fatal. It come back in the lungs, kidneys, etc. He said we would know it was back because he would just get really sick really quickly. Hopefully we will never have to worry about this!!!!

Thanks again for all of your kind words and prayers!!! I know that they helped tremendously!!!! You guys are the absolute best, and whenever any of you need prayers, I immediately put these onto my list to remember your requests too!!!

My friend still hasn't called, I guess she knows I'm p***** at her, we usually talk on a daily basis+. I am kind of dreading Monday, because I know I will see her at school, Oh Well!!! I am just SO non-confrontational, I hate to fight w/anyone, but this has been bubbling under the surface for a while now and I know I need to get it off of my chest!!!!

So glad to hear you are feeling better, I hate URI's they hurt not just the chest, but my head from all the coughing.

Good to hear Cody is home, I will pray the tumor does not return.

I started in late Aug 04 and lost 40 lbs by Sep 05. I have gained / lost 5-7 lbs off and on and now I am working on a 15 lbs more loss by this July. If I can do that, then I will be at my wedding weight and I will be able to wear all the clothes in my closet.

Never been there. Actually, I've never been to NY. Well, I've stopped in NY on I-90 heading up to Niagara Falls, but that doesn't count. I have sent people there though! So you'll be getting the rain soon!

Niagara Falls is in NY I know that you must have been talking about the Canadian side, but I grew up with the Falls practically in my backyard.
