Niagara Falls is in NY :rotfl: I know that you must have been talking about the Canadian side, but I grew up with the Falls practically in my backyard.

Beth

Love the falls, it is really amazing to see from both sides.

OK guys - I decided to avoid a p3 and make notes as I went along and post them all at once... only I'm still back on page 1600 and the post is really long already! So I'm posting it now and then I'll do another when I've read the remaining 50 pages :)

***************************

I'm back on page 1562 - and starting with:

Beth - good luck for the weight loss - and pulling up your bootstraps is a new one to me - we say you'd better pull your socks up! :)

ok I posted a few hours ago about Tammi and Kate's secret - thinking it was about the pumpkin ransom... now I see that this is really what triggered it...
Tammi said:
I'm giving this silly ticker one more day to return my pumpkin, and then I'm going to reset it. WEIRD!
I'll keep reading to see if I was right this time round...

Pg 1574 - Oh the ransom note is here... so funny :rotfl: I can't believe I missed all the excitement!

ConGraTulAtIonS Kate on 7000! :woohoo: Love the animation :)

Pg 1575 - oo I've posted here, how strange! I feel like a time traveller :rolleyes1

Pg1580 -

Nope, not me. I'm to busy on my Pal Mickey mission. Boy, does it take a lot of coordination to plan for 3 guys to go on a 7 month trip all over the country!
ahem! Can you make that all over the world?? :)

theresa said:
They aren't just going around the country.....at least one of em is going international right?
At least someone is paying attention :)

Great news on the refund for your trip Jen! Stick it in your DVC account quick!

By the way, where's the queen when we need her??!! I mean after all she is the queen of design.
Well I'm yet to discover - it's like reading a book this - but I think that Queen Kate is too busy designing ransom notes as her alter ego to be designing turtle designs to rescue the pumpkin!

Paula - your kids are adorable

Glynis - Love your sound of music story - you two are obviously soul mates!

A couple of years ago, he did a story about a man who was scoping out a site for deer hunting. He had his 2

year old son in the truck with him. The little boy fell asleep while they were driving to the location, so the dad decides

not to wake him up. He leaves the boy in the car, and walks away to scout for about 20 minutes. By the time he gets back to

the truck, the boy is gone. Search and rescue is called and they spend 4 days looking for the little guy. They finally found

him, frozen to death about 5 miles away from the truck. He had walked so far, the feet of his pajamas were worn away. The

father was crazy with grief. The police charged him with reckless endangerment, and he went to trial. He was found guilty,

and on the day of his sentencing, he didn't show up at the court house. When he was found, he was at the spot where his son

died. He'd taken his shotgun and blown his head off.

Alan was photog on that story all through the search, trial and death of the father. It was a horrible time.

OMG - I read a book that was obviously based on that event - it was heart breaking. How wierd too that I read it and now I

know that in real life your hubbie was there too... it's a small world. ETA: I just went and checked and it's called Angels

Crest by Leslie Schwartz it doesn't say anything about it being based on a true story but it is definitely about the incident

you described.

I left stuff on the car. Yes, that is "on" you're reading.
Didn't realize it until I couldn't find my paperwork from work.
My planner and Disney schedule is gone.
:scared2: Oh No!!! Hope you manage to find everything... did you have

anything saved on your pc or is it all hand written notes??

Tia - :wizard: for your grandma

pg 1592 - Amy those pictures are lovely -- the kids look like they had lots of fun :goodvibes

Vicki - blimey! That is one turtle shrine you have there! :rotfl:

pg 1596 - Kate I was going to say last week that I think the DIS clock is out of synch... maybe you should send them the link

to the atomic clock...

pg 1600 - Jen - I remember you saying you downloaded 6 days worth of DIsney podcasts, where did you get them from as they sound really interesting?

Hang on isn't that her surprise anniversary trip?? Vicki you'd better pack an eye mask and some ear plugs for PM... for the turtle time :rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the reminder!! :rotfl2:

That's my Pal Mickey she's taking to Sin City!!

John just saw the costumes from Amy. He said, ok now I just wear shorts with that and black socks and shoes? He said he'll wear the glasses and buy a top hat too. He kills me! Will wear anything for a costume but no shirts. He says in a costume you're allowed/supposed to look silly, but a shirt makes him look silly in "real" life. Oh, well. At least I get him in costumes!!!

That's why I went to bed soon after!! My migrainy, sleepy brain had obviously had too much stress and I blurted out about my Friends moment.

I called and it is all booked up for your time, I also checked the 9:00 & and the 9:30 and they only have openings for 3. I will check again once it gets closer and also once we get there, but it is my bad luck for not booking it sooner. I don't mind skipping it, I can be the DDA photographer for the morning if they will let me in the park if it hasn't opened yet.

Oh YEAH!!! Photographic evidence (I mean proof) everyone went on the Segways.

That's great, wish I could get motivated to do it too!!!

I refuse to buy new clothes and I want to get a Mess Dress (military formal attire, rather expensive) to wear w/ DH at formal functions. I am ready to start attending things now that the girls are at the age I am willing to let someone stay with them (baby sit) for a few hours.

Good morning, DDA! BTW, I can't keep secrets. So if you ask me questions, I'll answer honestly and reveal my identity. 1 person, our beloved Queen, was the only one to correctly guess so far.

I just wanted to say thanks to Kate for my design! I think the Gold Seal Light Transfer paper turned out great, and I love the look on the yellow shirt!!

I'm waaaaay back on 1507 - I may never catch up!

I was thinking a conference call would be kinda fun - can you do that through a VOIP service like Skype? That's free from user to user.

I feel like I hsould just stay here in the present - but I really want to see what I missed... I may just skim :scared: :faint: :rolleyes2

Claire,
DH and I have SKype and he told me you can confrence, he just wasn't sure that one can use it unless you have high speed internet. I think I remember my sister looking into it and she was the one who told me that she would have to have high speed internet. Maybe someone else knows?

Terry

Not caught up yet.... but 33 pages?!?! I need to sleep you know?!

Thanks everyone for the input on our trip dates! It sounds like we'll be happy with whatever we end up with.

I'll try and catch up later. I have to make some more tie-dye cupcakes for some shindig this evening ;) and HOPEFULLY take a nap. We had a rough night last night :guilty: , so I could use it!

Enjoy your afternoon... I hope it's sunny where you are!

What is your favorite color?

How many children do you have?

Boys or girls?

What state do you live in?

Do you work outside the house in a tax-paying job?

Did you sign up on http://www.frappr.com/dda

What are your intentions?

What size shoe do you wear?

Have you bought crocks or crock nock offs? If so… What color?

How many designs have you made?

What is your favorite design?

What came first… The chicken or the egg?

If you are baking a cake in a round pan, how long should you bake it?

What is your favorite drink?

Do you own a Pal Mickey? If not… Are you on the list to receive Pal Mickey for a visit? If so, then what month are you scheduled for?

What is the airspeed velocity of an un-laden swallow?

Diamond or pearls?

What is your hair color?

Coffee or soda?

Did Mickey and Minnie ever get married?
