I called Mom. She made me feel better. :) She said it's not as bad as the time you dropped your 2 week old $200 cell phone down a sewer grate. It's just paper. I just hope nothing important was in my planner.

Hello all! I have not posted in a while, but I have been "lurking". All this turtle talk kinda scared me :scared1: I am a little shy and it is hard for me to come out of my "shell". :teeth: We just got Leighanna's pictures back and I wanted to share. I have enjoyed seeing all the DDA's kids.

Tom, she is just gorgeous! The pictures are precious.

It's so nice to see your typeface around here!! So are you going back to Disney in 9 months??

I'm going to leave the "hard coming out of your shell" comment to my much more wordy DDA's!!! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks you soooooo much for that! You made my evening.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

With 162 days left before my Disney vacation, I'm making a shirt tomorrow. :) I'll post a picture when it's done. (If I like it that is!) I have a pale yellow shirt and one of Kate's designs with Tigger in a Box. Trying it with light transfer paper and who knows. Gotta love 99cent test shirts! I just want to make sure my paper isn't a bad batch.

It's bedtime for me. Rain always makes me feel depressed when it's that light-drizzle-that-really-isn't-doing-much-but-making-fog weather. Gonna go sleep the rain off. :thumbsup2

Night everyone and hello Night Owls!!

What a day today..it went up to 80 degrees here...a real taste of summer. People were in shorts & bike riding in the park.. :sunny:
Since my kids have been off this week due to Spring Break we have all stayed up late & slept in late in the a.m. which is such a nice treat.
Also bought the kids some crafts for after dinner. They were in the kitchen all humming as they were putting together these bead crafts. I love it..during school time they are so busy with school work, sports, dance, religion, music, etc that they never get to just sit around and "chill" & enjoy each others company. :grouphug:

I am enjoying it while it lasts..Monday we go back to out hectic crazy schedule.. :sad2:

It sounds like you had such a nice week.
We have had rain off and on all week, a few days of sun, then more rain.
IT"S ALMOST MAY!!!!!! I want SUN!!!!!!

Denise,

Hugs right back at ya. Was just talking with my sister and she says it looks like another possible bad night down your way. She is ready to sit in the bathroom that is in the middle of her apartment again.

Terry

Yes it is supposed to get bad again late tonight and tomorrow morning but hasn't started yet, so stay safe everyone who has bad weather tonight. :grouphug:

I have to tell a brief story that happened yesterday and I think it must be destiny or something. Last summer we booked 12 nights at our favorite campground for this upcoming July. We would have booked an additional 4 days which was the Friday night through Monday night prior to our reservations, but the first 2 nights were booked and we didn't want to have to break camp and change sites after a couple of days. We had intended to call the campground to see if that site somehow became available due to a cancellation. So out of the blue yesterday my cousin called me to see if I wanted a reservation at said campground. Since it is difficult to get reservations there they wanted to check with us before cancelling their reservation. Turns out they had the exact site that we wanted. So now we will be staying for 16 nights   This just struck me as so strange, I had to tell you all.

Here is an ode to the clever female. I know that we have many clever women here and I think you'll all appreciate this.

The Obedient Wife

There was a man who had worked all of his life, had saved all of his money, and was a real miser when it came to his money.

Just before he died, he said to his wife, "When I die, I want you to take all my money and put it in the casket with me. I want to take all my money to the afterlife with me."

And so he got his wife to promise him with all of her heart that when he died she would put all of the money in the casket with him.

Well, he died.

He was stretched out in the casket, his wife was sitting there in black, and her friend was sitting beside her. When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said, "wait just a minute!"

She had a box with her, she came over with the box and put it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and they rolled it away.

So her friend said, "Girl, I know you weren't fool enough to put all that money in there with you husband.:

The loyal wife replied "Listen, I'm a Christian, I can't go back on my word. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with him."

"You mean to tell me you put that money in the casket with him!!!!?"

"I sure did," said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into my account and wrote him a check."

"If he can cash it, he can spend it"

That's a great time to go Tom. She is a little heartbreaker already. And I have that ring too. I know, I know. I'm a little old to have a Mickey ring. Oh well......

Tell her she looks beautiful with her Mickey ring.

As you can all tell from the plethera of pictures that I posted earlier, We have a lot of costumes in this house. I think we still have most of the costumes that were in the pictures and more that I didn't post as they didn't fit into my "crush threats" :rotfl: . I am more than happy to share them if anyone is in need. I have so much fun coming up with costumes and my family are all good sports as you can tell.

This sounds like an easy meal for when DH is gone. I might just have to make it this week, DH is gone.

I got the recipe from my sister-in-law about 40 years ago. Let me know how you like it if you decide to try it.

Nice try, just one screen name here. Marti and Matthew leave for the weekend and there is JACK on the TV, I have to choose between Miss USA 2006 or some goofy movie on the Disney channel...
