The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 6

Ok, we just put the kids to bed (at 10:15pm and their bedtime is 7:30pm!) and let them watch all of HSM for the first time. We had a blast!

We all loved it, and they sang and danced through the entire show. I'm exhausted trying to learn those dances. They make it look so easy-NOT! Anyway, I told BK I'd get the DVD and CD now. They all 3 want to learn the dance at the end. It was really good!

We are planning on going back in February, 2007. I don't know if my ticker is right or not. Rumor has it that the tickers are going whacky right now!

Nice try, just one screen name here. Marti and Matthew leave for the weekend and there is JACK on the TV, I have to choose between Miss USA 2006 or some goofy movie on the Disney channel...

Before I head to bed, I am hoping that you can spare some prayers and pixie dust for my grandma (Ruth) tomorrow morning. She recently joined Curves. Two weeks ago Saturday she was doing her workout and did something to hurt her back. Thinking it was just strain she took it easy for a week. When it was still sore that Thursday she went to the doctor who sent her to physical therapy. The pt listened to her complaint and said "you know that sounds just like a woman who was here the other day and she actually had a fractured compressed vertebrae. Soo...they do xrays and my grandma has not one, but TWO fractured compressed vertebrae.

So tomorrow morning she is having a procedure done to help the extreme pain she is in. They will insert a needle between the vertebrea and insert a little balloon. The balloon inflates to put the vertebrea back in line and then they inject a concrete like substance that will keep them in place. She has been told that the pain is better almost immediately which should be good.

In addition to this one time, I am concerned about what this all means for the state of her osteoperosis. This is the simplest event that has ended up with a broken bone for her so it doesn't sound good. It is about the 6th broken bone she has had in the last few years.

I have to tell a brief story that happened yesterday and I think it must be destiny or something. Last summer we booked 12 nights at our favorite campground for this upcoming July. We would have booked an additional 4 days which was the Friday night through Monday night prior to our reservations, but the first 2 nights were booked and we didn't want to have to break camp and change sites after a couple of days. We had intended to call the campground to see if that site somehow became available due to a cancellation. So out of the blue yesterday my cousin called me to see if I wanted a reservation at said campground. Since it is difficult to get reservations there they wanted to check with us before cancelling their reservation. Turns out they had the exact site that we wanted. So now we will be staying for 16 nights This just struck me as so strange, I had to tell you all.

As you can all tell from the plethera of pictures that I posted earlier, We have a lot of costumes in this house. I think we still have most of the costumes that were in the pictures and more that I didn't post as they didn't fit into my "crush threats" . I am more than happy to share them if anyone is in need. I have so much fun coming up with costumes and my family are all good sports as you can tell.

Believe it or not, I took the Disney movie over Miss USA!

I do think that HSM is going to be the Grease of this generation!!

My kids are watching it for the 2nd time. It is so funny to hear them singing along to the songs.
