For all you DDA's ... what kind of software do you use to design with? I want to design my little girl and the rest of us some cute t's to wear on our next trip to WDW! Thanks tons! Have a nice night, ladies! :goodvibes

I use Photoshop Elements. Pretty much everyone on the boards (NOT everyone, just a large percentage) uses either Photoshop (Elements or full-version) or PhotoImpact. They are very similar.... I think you can get free trials of each and see which you like better! :thumbsup2

Maybe I am reading too much into things - I just haven't seen that other car anytime she is in town -

maybe he really does have a huge project at work like she said -I really hope I am wrong

we think the house is cursed - the last seemingly really happy couple who lived there moved out last summer when they divorced

Do they only have one car and she has it out of town so he has to get a ride home? Maybe it's his sister :lmao: :lmao:

I received a PM today from Poohangel (Angela). She's 23 weeks pregnant and she's having her ultrasound tomorrow. If you have extra pixie dust and prayers/good thoughts to spare, I'm sure she'd appreciate them.

I told her to stop by and say hello when she gets a chance.

Thanks for letting us know! I was worried since we haven't heard from her in a while.

Angela, if you read this (well, and even if you don't :rotfl: ) you are in my prayers tomorrow! Please let us know (either on here or via PM) how everything goes tomorrow! :grouphug:

Good evening!

Chanon - I can guarantee none of the DISers were in that part of town buying a lotto ticket -

I can also guarantee that money will DRASTICALLY be changing the life of the person who won it b/c it is right on the edge of the really bad part of town and the UC college campus

Hey now! I'm in total agreement about the kind of place it appears to be (see my previous post) :rolleyes1

But I shop there all the time when I'm at the hospitals! Too bad I didn't get a ticket! But I'm with you about it changing lives.... hopefully some doctor didnt' get it! ;) :teeth:

Thank you ladies for welcoming me to the board.
I am 29 years old and I am married with a little girl, Madelyn. We took our first trip to WDW this past November and we are going again for my 30th birthday this January. I am really excited about that! We are taking my DH's mom and two of his brothers and our daughter. I wanted to make some cute t's for the trip and possibly make some "online" buddies here on this thread. Everyone seems so supportive of one another! I love it! Anyways, I hope that you all have a nice evening! :goodvibes

Well, if it's buddies you want, you came to the right place. Just beware that once you are one of us, you are one of us for life. We will laugh with you, cry with you, design shirts with/for you, ooh and ahh over pictures of kids, and worry about you when you are gone for more than 2 days without checking in.

In all seriousness, though, this is the best place ever! The friends I've made here are friends I cherish even though I've never met any of them in person. You'll fit right in, I'm sure!

I'm such an idiot.

Today Bob had to borrow my car while his is in the shop so he could go to choir. So after work, I unloaded the car, took things out of my car, a friend called on my cell, I put things on the car, got the mail, went in house, talked to friend while cleaning the house, and Bob left for choir.
I left stuff on the car. Yes, that is "on" you're reading.
Didn't realize it until I couldn't find my paperwork from work.
My planner and Disney schedule is gone.
I found half of my Disney schedule two miles up the road, which I could care less about. I wanted to find my planner.
I guess I'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Oh, Chanon! That's terrible! I hope that you can find it! I'll send lots of
:wizard: that you can find it.

My kids all loved this and I would make it to take to pot-luck dinners or that was my meal to take to anyone in the neighborhood --home from childbirth, accident or anything else

Mexican Casserole

1 lb. Ground Beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 small onion chopped
1 can Kidney Beans
16 oz. can tomatos
large bag Nacho Cheese Doritos
Colby or Montery Jack Cheese

Brown meat with chopped onion, add taco seasoning and juice from canned tomatos and simmer 5-10 min. In shallow casserole dish, layer the beef mixture, Doritos, beans and cheese and keep layering until all used. Make sure the top layer is beef mixture then the cheese.
Bake 15-20 minutes at 375

That sounds so yummy! I've put it in my file, and can't wait to try it out!

Hi, all. Feeling much better today and happy. About to go give the kids a bath and then the boys have Karate.

I have pot-luck at school tomorrow. Any suggestions for a yummy and EASY recipe I could make? I'd like to take something along the lines of side dish/main dish. We always have so many desserts and nothing substantial to eat. But I mean EASY!!!!!!!!

1 lb. ground beef
1 16 oz can french style green beans, drained
1 small onion, chopped
salt, pepper to taste
one can tomato soup
Instant mashed potatoes prepared for 4 servings.

Brown ground beef with the chopped onion, salt pepper. Drain fat. Add green beans, soup and stir. Put in a casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes. Brown in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. This serves 4. You can double, triple, etc., to make as many servings as you need.

Very tasty and super easy.

ETA: You could probably substitute ground turkey for the beef, but I've never tried that.

It took me a while to make my gif and I might have gone overboard - so we will see if it works - thanks for the reminder Jen!!

I really don't think I could ever find the right words to post right now - just sitting here thinking of how you all have enriched my life in the past year has me in tears. I never imagined I would meet the most wonderful people in the world on the internet. Everyone of you is so important in my life and you are all a constant!! I feel lucky that I have met so many of you and that I am on my way to meeting more of you- I would love to eventually meet all of you!

Thank you all for being the best friends a girl could ever ask for!!

I love you all!!

Kate

Congrats Kate
Who knew talking (writing) would get you this far? :rotfl2:

Sorry to hear that :wizard: for finding your planner.

I called Mom. She made me feel better. :) She said it's not as bad as the time you dropped your 2 week old $200 cell phone down a sewer grate. It's just paper. I just hope nothing important was in my planner.
