Hooray!!!!!!!! I just got my MVMCP tickets for 11/30 and a ressie at LTT at 5:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Although I did have to call the dining number direct since the "gentleman" ;) who sold me the tickets refused to check for the special event screen said I have to wait until 180 days. I wanted to remind him that he was wrong about being able to sell me the tickets so isn't it possible he was wrong about the ADR's too? But I wasn't in the mood to fight (do you believe it? :lmao: ) so I called dining direct and got me ressie there with no problems!!!

Just wait, my MIL will probably crab about going on Thursday instead of Friday.... Too bad! I am paying for these tickets and they are cheaper then!! :rotfl2:

Hey Clare, how are your assignments coming? Still making good progress every day?

I've been working on the last one today - in between trying to book my MVMCP tickets!

Still heading in the right direction

How's your office coming along?

What dates are you there in December? I am planning on being there Dec. 1-5. I still have to make reservations and will be doing that in the next two days.

Does that mean you got one done?

Looking better but still need to spend lots of time on it. Thanks for the reminder. I'll get down there for a couple of hours today. For some reason, I'm exhausted. I'm also sore from playing in the trees but that is normal. Don't know why I'm so exhausted though. I got lots of sleep.

How in the world can they all have such different answers when you call CRO?!?!?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Morning all. Rees had a good night. This is going to sound weird, but that scares both me and John. If this test doesn't show him refluxing again, then what is causing all these symptoms and pain? Then Rees will have to have more yucky tests. So, keep praying, but I pray that today he does reflux some so we'll have a definitive answer.

I'll update later.

:woohoo: way to go.

DH had to tell our girl, I know people have bought them, so she went to look and sure enough they are on sale and she sold them to us.

Oh Denise I love you so much I could kiss you! :love2:

And you too Heidi :love2:

I called the number - and when I got through the girl said - oh no they're not on sale until Monday.

So I said - that's funny - my friend Heidi just called up and bought some and gave me the number.

So she starts taking my details - which takes an age because of the language/accent barrier :rotfl:

Then she says - Oh my gosh! The tickets are on sale :rotfl:

And she sells me two for November 13! :cheer2:

Now excuse me while I dance

I am soooooo excited :hyper: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Glad to hear you had a good time, sorry about the Asthma attack, I know what that is.

So I just got back from my Service Unit sleepover. There were about 76 Daisies and Brownies and about 20 adults. It was a good night, I had a blast. All of my girls but one were there. They all had a great time and I had no problems with them. I got my workout for the night as I did the Mexican Hat Dance for about 2 hours straight. The Daisies were so cute and all the Brownies enjoyed learning about Mexico.

Most of the girls were asleep by 2am. I on the other hand attempted to sleep and ended up staying up all night. Something in the air must have bothered me because I spent most of the night hacking my head off and I was had an asthma attack. I haven't had one for several years, so I don't even have meds for it anymore. I only need meds when I am sick.

I did eventually get myself to stop as it wasn't that bad, but I didn't sleep. I don't have to work until 12am Monday morning so I have time off to do me stuff. I might go to Cabelas and Cracker Barrel with a friend. I might also go see a movie. Plus I will definitely get some sleep.

I hope everyone is well.

Becky

Regarding MNSSHP and MVMCP, I called the TA line this morning and found out that they load the computers with the info for them a few days before they are supposed to be sold, so the computer systems arn't backed up with uploads the day they are sold. TECHNICALLY they arn't supposed to be sold until the 1st. But so long as everyone has a confirmation number you're fine! I think that's where the problem lies...some CM's know the rules, others don't care cuz they are in the system and why not do it now and keep the phone lines less crowded for Monday!

Denise - I'm glad to hear that Rees monitor is showing response to his body! (Yeap, that sounds weird, but it gives you answers!) I hope his pain is minimal this weekend, keeping you at ease, but knowing that you'll be getting answers soon! Enjoy the pizza tonight!!

Kristin - Glad you picked Thursday over Friday for MVMCP! I think that Fridays would be more crowded with "locals" coming in with their children. And you're saving money! Why wouldn't that be a good thing!? :-) Good luck telling your MIL!

Denise, hope all goes well with Rees. :wizard:

Kate, wow got some good bargains.

Aww geez I'm a bad girl.Suppose to be helping Erich with some research on a project he's doing on the 1970s but ended up reading about 20 pages on here! OY!

Isn't my new siggie ADORABLE?!?!?!?

:cool1: I love it! Thanks again Kate!

I didn't take note,but I do have a couple things to say

Pixie dust and prayers to everyone and their familes that need it. :wizard: :grouphug:

Denise...glad Rees is doing better and thanks for the MNSSHP info....I'm wondering if they're ever going to put a sticky up on TPAS :confused3 .I told them a couple weeks ago that they could use all my info ,my write up that i have posted over the past couple years or I could tweek it a little.MNSSHP is my favorite thing but well I'm not a TPAS mod anymore...soooo...OH well. :smooth: . I'm hoping we get to attend this year.It was a bummer cancleing last year.I'm going to wait quite awhile until I gte my tickets though.

Glynis....glad you got through your presentation.

What about a MP3 player?? Austin is 12 and he has had his for about a year now and loves it. I found one online at www.walmart.com for about $100.00. It is called The Cube and is really small and has great quality. It is one of the smaller ones and only holds about 250 songs but it has been a year already and he only has about 30 songs on it.

Lynn

My 9 year old wants an MP3 player, but I told her she can't have one until I get one first!

Hey DDA....I need some ideas!!! For 2 of Erich's teachers gifts.

At the end of the year I always make his teachers a gift.Last year I decoupaged flower pots themed to the subject each one taught.Well this year Erich has 2 of the same teachers. For the 2 he didn't have plus 2 teachers that are retiring I'm doing the flower pots because they're fun and were a huge hit last year. But I'm stumped on the other 2. :confused3

I have decoupaged picture frames in the past but it's hard for me to find them around here for CHEAP with a wide enough border.

So I thought I'd come to y'all for some ideas.Remember key word: CHEAP!! ;)

Thanks!

I do kind of the same thing as you have done. I let the kids paint a flowerpot, and then I decopauge a school picture of the kids onto the pot. Inside we tuck a hand made card, and a package of forget-me-not seeds. The teachers seem to love it! Katie loves to go back to her old teacher's rooms and see her pot still there with flowers growing.

My house threw up on itself and DH  comes home tonight for two nights (yeah!). Along with the fact that I have a bur up my ___ (the area the sun does not shine), because I weighed in this morning only to find I did not gain or loose ANYTHING!!! So that made me a bit misaligned. :guilty: Then I went to Joann’s fabrics to get some stuff for one of my SSP and they wouldn’t take my coupon because the item was already on sale. (this is the first time that has happened; usually they take the item back to full price and then give you the coupon) AND the lady behind me tried to cut in front of me in line.

So I went to the donut shop and bought Elizabeth and I a donut, I also stopped a t Starbucks for a hazelnut latte and then home to the house that threw up all over it’s self.

I started more laundry (why? I have no idea. I must be rather brainless

to add more.) And the dishwasher is running. I am off to get Gabrielle at school then clean up this house.

So I have one last thing to say.

Thank you, I feel better now.

Paula, you are so adorable! The way you tell a story is so much fun that even when you've had a bad day, I smile at the way you tell it! I'm sorry that your day was so yucky! Hopefully, DH coming home put a smile on your face!

I just love the pictures of your girls. They are just gorgeous!
