I'm caught up again. Woo Whoo!! That is definately opposed to hoo hoo which is a term that has been used around here for ever. Someone has been referring to their Grandma as Hoo Hoo on here and every time I read it I have to laugh (sorry grandma).

That was Theresa (babytrees). I thought about that as soon as Paula posted about her hoo hoo but I didn't want to be the one to point it out :teeth:

The 5 kids are outside doing their best to try to kill each other. My DN (the only girl) is running in here every couple of minutes tattling on one of the boys. I finally said unless there is blood involved I don't want to hear it. I guess I'd better go out and get them back under control. You'd think they'd be able to get along on such a nice day. The yard is fenced in so I know that they're safe. Give a girl a break. Disney take me away. Disney take me away.

A big thanks to all my DDA Sisters who posted on the Dining Thread! I don't think that guy will know what hit him if he ever comes back to see the flack he got for the "Chill Out" comment!
Never underestimate the power of the DDA!!!!

Here's another "my DH pays more attention to me than I thought" story

I was telling him Dawn called me and how nice it was to talk with her and that even though I knew she had a southern accent it still threw me -

and he said to me

"Just wait until you talk to your friend from England - I bet you don't think about her talking with a British Accent!!"
I think about her accent, but the worst part is after all these months I still want to call her Rosie

Hi Everyone!!!! :wave2:

I haven't been around in a while but I have done my best in trying to stay caught up. It sounds like everyone is doing well.

Hi Lynn! We've missed you!

Just got home. The appointment went as both John and I expected. Dr. Meyers agrees Rees is refluxing again. He said best case scenario is that it isn't as severe as it appears to be, and that Rees is just really sensitive to the acid. If that is the case, they will manage him with meds and diet. But, we have to find out just what it going on. So either this Friday or next Friday he will go to the Outpatient GI Lab at the hospital and have an Endoscopy and pH Probe. They will give him an IV and put him to sleep. They'll put a tube with a small camera down his esophagus into the stomach to view the anatomy, check for hernias, and check the status of the Fundo. Then Dr. Meyers will attach an electronic sensor to the inside of his esophagus. The sensor sends data via a wireless device to a gadget Rees will wear on his hip for 48 hours. It will tell the doctor the pH of the acid in his esophagus and show how bad the reflux is. He has to stop all Reflux meds that week and must eat a very acidic diet for the weekend (apple juice, oj, tomato products, etc) to make the stomach acid as bad as possible. It is the only way go get an accurate reading. Last time he had a pH probe was awful. without the meds, he refluxed horribly and was in a lot of pain. I'm hoping this time won't be as bad. After 48hours we take the data box back to the doctor to download and analyze the info. If it shows moderate reflux and the Endoscopy shows anything, then we will go to the Surgeon to repeat the Fundo.

That is all I know at the moment. Please pray it isn't as bad as it appears and Rees can avoid surgery. Thanks for all your support. It means a lot.
