What color is Mya? Blackie, our cockapoo, is well black. I would love to see a picture. I really wanted an apricot or buff colored but Blackie has the absolute best personality and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Brandi, our Bichon, is so cute when she wants attention. She will come up to you and put her head under your hand and then back off and do it again and again until you pet her. And when she can't find your hand she jumps all over you looking for them. She is cute but rather demanding sometimes!

Mya is buff. She is a wonderful dog. Sasha, our last cockapoo, was black and after she died & we finally decided to get another one, Becky said that we couldn't get a black one because she didn't want Sasha thinking we were replacing her because she couldn't be replaced!! I'll get a good picture of her and post it later.

Thanks everyone. We're all very excited. Christopher actually changed his mind a few days ago and said he hoped it was a sister.

She did all of the technical stuff first and said we'd find out the gender last. She (the baby) measures 2 days ahead of my due date so all of that was on target. She was very wiggly so it took a little time to get all of the measurements. She showed no characteristics for Down Syndrome, the spine, heart, kidneys and bladder looked good, and no cleft palate. Because the baby was so wiggly I told the tech I hoped it would cooperate so we could find out what it is and she said "oh, this baby's cooperating, I've already seen it." When she said "it" I just figured she saw a boy. So she went back to the "area" and asked if we saw the 3 little slits. We said yes, and she said that's a girl, a boy would stick out and look kind of like a turtle (I swear that's what she said). I admit I was in complete shock.

My c-section is scheduled for 8/29/06 at 11am.

That is the same explanation our ultrasound tech gave us when she said Alyssa was a girl, so Denise's turtle joke made perfect sense to me!

I am sooo going to hate myself in the morning. I logged in at quater of 11 to "catch up". I was about 50 pages behind then. You guys posted at least 20 pages while I was trying to catch up which means that even though I was on the thread I wasn't even participating in the posting party. I'm sure that there are going to be some people way behind come morning. Oh wait a minute it is morning.

After a total of 90 minutes reading this morning and now I have only just caught myself up and you guys are 15 pages ahead again...

So all you West Coast DDA's, how close are you all to Reno? I found out today I am headed out there May 1st. I am doing some independent contract work for the company I worked with before I had Emma. 6 days in Reno, without my DH or DD's. But the biggest plus is that for 24 hour of actual work I will be able to completely pay for our WDW trip.

Is there anything that I should do while I am there. I won't have a car so that will limit my ability to do a lot I am sure. But would like to know if there is something I shouldn't miss! I will have a lot of time to myself.
