there used to be one that was tink flying around with the diet coke can and penny and it said spreading pixie dust one design at a time - it was actually my first animated signature!

That sounds like me as long as I am on the ship I could care less where I am staying. I would just sleep on the deck chair on deck 10 if they would let me. Unfortunately they pack up the chairs. :rotfl2:

Calico Beans

20oz can Pork & Beans
15oz can #2 Butter Beans
15oz Can Kidney Beans
1/2 pound hamburger
1/2 pound bacon
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon Dried Mustard
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 medium onion
2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
2 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet

Brown and drain hamburger. Cook bacon and chop into small pieces. Drain all cans of beans except one. Mix all ingredients together well. Pour into greased 12x8 casserole pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 8-10.

this recipe is soooooo yummy. It's hearty enough to be almost a meal vs a side dish. One of my faves. I've made it with sugar free ketchup and the sugar-free brown sugar.

That sounds so yummy! It's almost like my Dad's recipe for Cowboy Beans. I've copied your recipe, and it's now in my file. Can't wait to try it!
 
I kept caught up on the DDA thread today....cleaned, went to a Rockies game....ordered a new cell phone...all great things except what I was supposed to do was catch up on my emails.....now 850+!! :rotfl2:

It wasn't the Tink one. I thought there was kind of a teal one, non-animated.

I am not a good dieter, I can't stand to eat things that are low fat or fat free, I have never had to diet in my life until about 2 years ago. I think that that is why I don't know how to eat right. After I had Carli I was the thinnest I had ever been, I don't know why I started to gain weight but I just could not get motivated to take it off.

We are going on vacation w/DH's whole family in June and I am just sick of not looking good in any of my clothes or pictures. I got super motivated and saw a difference pretty quickly and that motivated me even more. I also ordered 3 new bathing suits that I LOVE and I so want to look nice in them at our new pool!!!

I am a Coke addict, I lived on Coke. I have totally given up Coke (unless we are out to eat, I'm not that good yet). I am drinking about 8 16 oz bottles of water a day or more, I think that is the biggest thing I am doing. I am also cutting back on snacking and eating MUCH smaller portions. I am also limiting our eating out. It doesn't sound like a lot but I think it is helping a ton. The more I lose the more I am scrutinizing what I am eating. I really need to start walking in the evening too, but I hate to walk alone. I am also trying to keep as motivated as possible and to do as much around the house so that I can keep my mind off of food and try to do things that will burn those calories!!!

That is exactly what I did (except substitute pepsi for coke & I still drink one a day). I've lost 24 pounds so far in 5 months. I'm at a plateau now and need to start exercising but I feel great. Until about 10 years ago, I could eat anything I wanted and not gain an ounce. My metabolism must have changed or something because I've ended every year since heavier than I started it until this year.

I think there was one before the sparkles - but is long gone from my brain and design gallery - sorry!!
