We are doing the first official double dip to Castaway Cays leaving on 27th May.
We did CC twice on a previous cruise and loved it, the kids don't know yet as or some unknown reason we decided not to tell them :confused3
What date is your cruise???

Ours cruise is 7/29 Western. I really love the Eastern. We've done it twice, but decided to try the Western this time. I'm having trouble deciding on excursions.

I'm jealous of your double CC. That is such a very fun place!

Speaking of Minnie and Mickey living together (I realize you were discussing this last night, but I missed it so am chiming in a day late), they're actually married. I have this argument with a friend of mine who is a soon-to-be Disney bride and a DISer, so I won't name names.

DBF and I found proof of their marriage at Art of Disney at Downtown Disney last week. For sale at the store is a cell from the movie in which they got married. It's from an early Disney short. They're standing at the altar, Minnie's dress is streaming behind her back up the aisle, and the pews are full of the cows and all the characters Walt Disney used to put in the early Mickey shorts.

Proof that their relationship is legit!!

While she might have a bit of trouble with her panties always peeking out from under her skirt, Minnie is no hussy!!

Jennifer

Then why does she have her own house........maybe she is a smart business woman and is a landlord!!! :lmao:

Not at all. Like I said, I always refer to myself as Jennifer, but I really don't think anyone else does, it's always Jen. And no variation ever bothers me, except when my Chorale conductor called me Jenny from day 1. No matter how many times other people corrected him, or he saw it written out, it was just Jenny. I still have no idea why that one bothers me. My mom has papers from Kindergarten, etc when I wrote Jenny.... but she thinks I was just lazy

If it hasn't always been an aversion, I'm pretty sure Forrest Gump sealed the deal for me! :rotfl:

My sister is named Jennifer, and she feels the same way.

Since I make them for him twice a year, I am obviously going to have to come up with a new name for these chocolate delicacies to eliminate the eeewwww factor!

Amy :)
How about churtles?

Kristine -- This is a little late, but I hope you and Bill had a great 1st Anniversary. When is the trip to Vegas?

Hi!

I'm in Dallas, too. I live in Uptown/West Village and work out of my aparto. I'd love to meet you guys for lunch sometime!! I travel a lot for work, but it looks like mostly I'll be in town for the next few months since the trade shows I'm planning are here in Dallas this quarter.

Please let me know if you get together. Working from home gets lonely. It's been better for the last six months since DBF works from home now too (yes, like Mickey and Minnie, we live together :rolleyes1 ), which is loads of fun since I now have a lunch buddy again!

Jennifer

That would be great - I know I would love to meet another Dallas DDA! I think we're going to shoot for summertime, since things are really crazy for me at work right now. I will keep you and Marci posted!

Plastic eggs  What's that all about? Ours are hollow chocolate and there's usually sweets or a toy in the box too.

I went to bed last noght then had to go to work today 12 hr shift at the Hospital. The thread was on page 108 when I went to bed. I just finished reading all 13 pages. WOW :cool1:

Wow! 13 whole pages. I wake up in the morning and pray there are ONLY 13 pages.

Here's a really cute picture of Skunka's birthday shirt and according to the post Marti's first picture post. Neat idea by the way Marti.

I did wonder why you were around when I was! Hope you had a nice day and that the :sunny: shone for you too

That's alright tonight I will be awake all night, as I must work from 12am to 8am. But I won't be on as I don't have internet access at work.

I have to head to bed to attempt to take a nap before work as I didn't really sleep last night and won't be tonight.

I love the Eastern too and that is always my first choice but my favorite Island is Grand Cayman, stingray city excursion is amazing and well worth it.
The other excursion I love doing there is the one that goes to the rum cake places (of course), the turtle farm (oh no!!!!!! more turtles) and Hell.
Wish ours was going there instead of Cozymel which is my worst Island.
These are all my opinions!!!!

Hi, everyone. Happy Easter! Kids loved their baskets this am. Got a swim vest for the pool, 3 pairs of Disney pj's, 2 books, a small toy, and 2 eggs with some Tootsie Rolls. I found the pj's on sale last fall for $2.99 each and the book on clearance. I did well!

Went to church, and the service was lovely. I teach choir and usually sing in the chancel choir (not singing this year because it is too much time). At the end of the service they asked everyone who would like to sing the Hallelujah Chorus to come to the front. Rees went with me and sang every word! He is so musical. It was one of those mom moments that I'll remember the rest of my life. It was wonderful.

Came home and had lunch. The kids hunted for the eggs and played with their new toy and books. We just finished baking the tie dye Easter cupcakes. They smell wonderful and look great. We're going to frost them with chocolate and put on sprinkles. I've got a ham and scalloped potatoes in the oven for dinner. Also having asparagus, crescent rolls, tossed salad, and the cupcakes for dessert.

I've taken a million pics of the kids, and I'll try to post some tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great day. And Happy Anniversary, Kristine and Bill!

I, for one, am delighted to hear that Rees knows the entire Hallelujah chorus from the Messiah! I want him to come be my student! That would probably be easier than me coming to Atlanta :moped:

Love the new turtles, btw... :rotfl2:

Because the heat from the house goes up the chimney. The wood burning ones are getting better but there is still an opening to the outside. I want a wood burning one - not a gas one. I want to be able to roast marshmallows & hotdogs on it!

I would only want a wood fireplace, to me a gas fireplace is fake fire. The house I grew up in has a wood fireplace with a blower system so we didn't really have this problem, at least I think. We would use it to heat the house with no other heat on. Therefore I never really thought about it.

Thanks for the explanation.

Becky

Oh how sweet. I don't think I'd have been able to sing past the tears. He is a very talented kid!

Then you are in need of a design to iron over it!!!!

Unless Kristine can help me find a design made of big blue dots, it will look really odd in the spot I hit :lmao: ;) ;) :lmao:
