I can't believe you're actually reading that thread Vicki - it will take you sooooo long! I'm enjoying the "recaps" though :thumbsup2

My goal is 50 pages a day. At that rate it is going to take me approximately 440 days to get through it all!!!! :rotfl2:

I'd be happy to help in whatever way possible, looking for pictures, clip art, etc. Please tell me how to help! I just don't know how to cut them out or paste them in one image (or anything else related to creating the shirts )

That is so funny. I had no idea how addicting the DDA would become. And see, if I can learn to design, ANYONE can!

How is Rees today?

He's doing very well. He's sitting here on the floor with Cinderella's castle, his monorail, his Delta airplane, and all the Princess figurines, Maleficent, Flora, Fauna, Merriweather, and the Fab 5 playing Disney. He's hooked like me!

The DC trip will completely depend on when Rees has surgery. Hopefully we'll get lots of info soon.

Hey Clare, how much time you spent on your assignments today?

A couple of hours. I did some reading of journals and stuff... it's going very slowly but hopefully I'll get there...

Hi Guys;

We just got some bad news tonight about our 4 year old dog Cody. He is a big Golden Labrador Retriever.

Dave took him to the vet today for his regular check-up and shots and they felt a lump on the top of his hind legs. They did a needle biopsy to see if it was anything to be concerned about.

We went out for a quick dinner and when we got home there was a message from the Vet asking us to call them immediately. We called and they said that it was a tumor of some sort w/many active cells to it. I don't think that it sounds too good by what she said. We have to take him in right away to have the tumor removed and sent to a pathologist. If it is benign that will be all that we have to do, if it is malignant there is not much they can do.

He is the absolute best dog in the world, he is so gentle and loving. He looks after the kids and lets them do anything to him. I don't know what I would do without him!!!

I am also worrying about how much this will cost, I mean we already paid almost $300 for today. Obviously though we will do anything that we can do for him!!!

I know that in light of all of the many hardships that I have heard about on this board this may sound trivial, but he is such a big part of our family!!! If anyone can spare a prayer or two I would very much appreciate it!!!

Thanks,

Julie

:grouphug: I hope it turns out OK- in my family, the dog is like another child so I know how tough this can be!

If you ever see Parent Trap 2 again let me know, I really liked that movie and I think that Carli will too!!!!

Congratulations on your new assistant, I hope she's great and you are able to take your vacation!!!!

I saw it today at Meijer - but no Parent Trap with LL - however I found a blockbuster that has it so my mom is picking it up for me

Hi all!

Sorry I missed the Minnie/Mickey talk last night! I almost spilled my Diet Coke all over the keyboard!!

While you were chatting we had our first fire in our outdoor fireplace last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH spent all last summer building our patio and the fireplace and we finally finished it the weekend before we went to WDW. By the time we got back it was too cold in the evenings to enjoy it :(. The whole block came down to help us celebrate- we had a ball!
Here's a picture of it:

That is good news.
Steffy and I saw the parade at MNSSHP last year and could tell you about the parade and what might be a little tense for Rees. I am sure somewhere, someone has taped the parade and maybe by watching it first might be a good thing.
I had more fun watching everyone that had costumes on. Of course at the Haunted Mansion everyone had makeup on to make them look spooky and also over at the Liberty Tree Tavern as well. I will try to get one on my photobucket account which I did---it is the first picture

Have a Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!

I just showed Chuck this picture and told him I want one of these. We didn't put a fireplace in the house because he said that they waste too much electricity but I really want a fireplace!!!! This would give us both what we want.

Julia, you made me smile today! And, you actually made me miss teaching a little... ;)

I used to teach Cry the Beloved Country to my seniors, and they hated it! Of course, most of them hating reading period...at least required school reading.

Amy :)

I haven't read that in years and years.

Luckily Tarryn loves reading, she battled with it when she was at the dual curriculum school but now it is one of her strongest subjects. I got a letter on Thursday from school saying she is being recommended for foreign language in middle school.

Now Adam is batteling with reading, he is in second grade and I have just had him undergo all the testing with the psychologist so will go for the results on the 24th but sure once it clicks he will love it too.

I hate my physical therapist - okay not really -

but I went from being able to function with occasional buckling of my knee - to constant pain and buckling all the time - by night time I can barely walk!!

I know it is going to get worse before it gets better but OWWWW!!!

I'm so sorry, Kate! Just keep an eye on it, and let your therapist know exactly what's going on!
