Chanon -- I just realized that you are the same age as my older DD!

What she said. :-)
So here's the itinarary. (Can you see I can't pull myself away to get to work?!)
-----------------------
So it'll be me (27) and DBF (34) staying at Pop Century during what will probably be one of the busiest weeks ever...yes, I'm talking about September 30th the last offical day of free dining! (Ok..I know it's not as busy at MK at Christmas but I'm used to the crowds in Febuary ok?!)

9/30 - Arrive at resort, with dinner at the Garden Grill at 7:20pm. Not planning on doing any F&W Festival stuff yet, just going for dinner and maybe a ride on TT on our way out. Depending on what time we get to the resort (flight lands at 1:30pm) might hit DTD for our Christmas ornament.
10/1 - MGM at open, dinner at Mama Melrose at 5pm. Might do Fantasmic, might not, it's not high on our "to do" list this year.
10/2 - Epcot at open, with snacks from dining plan used for F&WF. Dinner at Coral Reef at 5:40pm. (Might head over to Yacht Club and see if they have a room that I can look at, I've never seen this resort.)
10/3 - Unversal Orlando during the day (buy FOTL passes?) and dinner at 1900 Park Fare at 7:20pm if we don't end up in Margarettaville!
10/4 - MK at open, Crystal Palace for lunch at 11:15am, afternoon break at resort, and back to the park at 5:30 or so for dinner at LTT at 6pm.
10/5 - AK for breakfast at 8am at Restaurantousurssss..you get the drift...We don't plan on doing much here, just EE, KS and MJTrek are our must sees. Afternoon nap, and MNSSHP at 5pm.
10/6 - Sleep in. Take nap by pool in afternoon. Head over to Universal for Halloween Horror Nights. Hopefully back to the room before the last shuttle at 2am with Mears.
10/7 - Nothing major planned here, maybe DTD to pick up ornament (if they hold it this long or if they won't deliver to resort). Just Hoop dee Doo at 5pm, and then Wishes and Spectro at MK tonight.
10/8 - Leave for airport at 11am (if Delta is still around).

Key points: I actually want this to be a vacation this year, and not have to come home and take a vacation day from my vacation. Don't be shocked, but we plan on skipping Illuminations. Really don't want to miss Spectro or Wishes though. We normally try to get an afternoon break in, but it just depends...the break might be going over to the Poly and sitting on the beach.

So does anyone have suggestions? I'm opening the door for comments!
------------------------

Ok... I REALLY don't get it? :confused3 I think it sounds fantastic! You aren't doing everything there is to do, or filling your time to the brim... but for the kind of vacation you want it sounds devine! What kinds of things are they saying? Maybe I'm just missing something?

Around here it would probably get him fired... or worse. Those of us in the DC area find absolutely NOTHING funny about snipers... :sad2: It is totally inappropriate for any child, imho.
I agree....my DH and kids were at the mall the day the woman was shot there. I can still remember refusing to go anywhere with my kids then and zigzagging from the car into the stores and back.

Well, I do have one, but not as bad as it could be! And I'm a darn proud Southern gal. I can't imagine dealing with all that snow. Yuck!

ETA: so would it be better if I typed Southern? Would ya like it if I talked on here like I do in real life? I can do that, if ya are wantin' me to. I jus' didn't think y'all yankees would understand whats I was referrin' to when I said stuff. Maybe Dawn, Julia, and Lynn would catch on, but thems Southen' too, ya know what I mean?
LOL, we could go to "code" when we don't want them to know what we're saying ;)

That's what I thought... although from what I can remember about the TGM forums you have to do certain things on certain days or hell might freeze over... don't get me wrong - I thought TGM was great and he certainly helped us miss the crowds but its your vacation and if you want to kick back a little then that's your call.

You'll have a great trip Chanon - oh which day are you going to buy pearls in Japan?

Congrats DDA! This is truly a very special place! :grouphug:

Wow! I expected when I got on this morning that they had already reached the 20,000 mark last night. I was in the middle of it and didn't even know it!!! Congrats Jen.

Jennifer -- love the 20,000 post -- really cute!

Sometimes, it's the little things in life that I miss as a working mom.

Since we are off for Good Friday, I actually got to cook breakfast for my kids. Woo Hoo! They aren't even up when I leave in the morning.

I went and picked up my two nephews and niece, and all 5 kids are watching Narnia and then we'll do pizza for lunch. I actually went to the post office when it was open, and I'm having such a good morning that I've decided to do some spring cleaning -- maybe Kate and Deb's influence is rubbing off.

And catch this....I may even bake cookies this afternoon.

Marti and Rees -- hope you both are feeling better.

I'll be in and out -- have a great day DDAs!

Tammi -- when are you all leaving for PA? After the kids get out early today? Or when you get home from work? I guess that would still be after the kids get out early... LOL
John is home today so he will get the kids, drive up here, pick me up, and then we are off. So I'm guessing, depending on NB traffic, hitting the road around 1:30.

BTW, DDA, so I don't get in trouble like some people on this thread ;), I will be heading to PA to spend the weekend at my parents, so I won't be around as much. But I will check in every now and then. I'll be home Monday night.

KATE and other HS Musical fans -- Zac Efron is supposed to be on Live with Regis and Kelly today.

Another thrill, watching daytime TV as I start to clean....I may even catch some of GH and AMC!

African or European?

The average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

But………

You do not have a need to know at this time. (that’s a little military phrase for ya).

All in good time my lady.

Drive safely and have a wonderful time with your parents. Happy Easter!

Well DH is still on the sofa in his pjs playing pc games - so much for cleaning the loft! He says I should sit here and ebay some more stuff... but it's quite time consuming... I'd rather watch Lost

Anyways I really should go do something as its 3.30pm!

:wave2:

Don't get too chatty - don't you all have some baking or easter egg hunting to do... or kids (or DH's) to entertain :rolleyes1: :rotfl:

Hey Denise - how's Rees doing?

And Marti? Are those meds kicking in yet? How's your chest feeling?

:wizard:

Alright, Paula, I just have to ask, because it is always different, what is it that determines the size/type of font that you use???
