The real problem is that she hasn't given us any ammunition - that's not too helpful now is it??

What's up with the house? Did your friend show interest or are you putting it on the market?

I would be interested, as I have never been and it would be nice to have someone to help me get my bearings.

Becky

Cool. Anyone else interested?

I just looked at my post count - 1979 - in 1979 I was a sophomore in High School. I'd like to say it was a good year, but heck, it was my first year of high school. Blech...

Whoa, I am beat today !!!!

I had a Drs. appt. this morning to go to, so I had to get all of the kids ready that I babysit for so that my neighbor could watch them for me. I rushed around getting dressed, making beds, having my own kids ready for school, and I had to have everything ready by 8:30A.M., I really don't know how you working moms do this on a daily basis. So I went to the Dr. (which by the way told me I have lost 15 lbs. since I was there last month  , I am SO excited, I have been working So hard)!!!!

I then left there and went home to pick up cupcakes to take to Carli's school for her B-day snack. I got to school and asked if I could stay and visit and they said sure and asked if I wanted to help w/ the Easter egg hunt. I stayed and ended up hiding about 500+ eggs in about 15-20 mins. the kids had a blast!!!! I ordered cupcakes from Sam's  for Carli's treat, I just didn't have time to make 44 cupcakes for today. So I ordered them and I 'll tell you what, there were 2 dozen cupcakes for $11.28 I got 4 dozen, they were SO pretty!!! Everyone said that they tasted really good(I didn't try them, I was being good
wink.gif
), I had them tint the icing pink and purple and they put Hello Kitty rings on them-they were SO cute!!! I would definitely get them again!!!

So we took a couple of cupcakes down to Kyle's room for him and his teacher and his aide, his aide asked me if I wanted to take the classroom hamster home over spring break because everybody that usually takes it home is going out of town. What could I do, Kyle & Carli were both begging me to take it , so I did. All I have to say is I hope to God this thing lives for 11 days, because knowing my luck that is what would happen!!! Kyle and Carli are SO excited about it!!!

Anyway I left there and went home to rescue my neighbor, she asked if we could get lunch , so I ran and went to Chipotle for her and got McDonald's for the kids. Got home and Carli was asked to go to the zoo w/ some other neighbors, so I ran around getting stuff ready for her to go there w/ them.

I Hurried and threw down some lunch w/ my neighbor. She left and I had to feed 2 babies, and then put 3 kids down for a nap. The house was trashed So I had to straighten up a little bit. I feel so out of my routine from running around all morning and just out of sorts. It is definitely just easier to stay home with everybody!!! Just one more day of babysitting and I am off for 10 days   !!!

Then I just sat down and

I'm intersted - but with our May trip and our December trip - I doubt we could do a west coast trip too.

Did I tell anyone that the December trip is to celebrate 10 years of wedded bliss to Skunka???

Rees did well again last night. He did reflux a little at choir, but I gave him meds and he rebounded ok. Talked to the GI doc nurse this morning (she's been around since the beginning with Rees). She was going to see if we need to come see him on Tuesday or just go straight to the Surgeon. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

Oh, and Rees has the 2nd half of his testing at the school tomorrow for his IEP. It's at 1pm, so if you can pray for calm, focused, attentive, happy, and cooperative, I'd appreciate it.

Consider it done! Hope all goes well.

ooohh I'd forgotten about that book - might order the MK one and pre-order the Epcot one.

Has anyone read this one? Walt Disney's Legends of Imagineering: And the Genesis of the Disney Theme Park

Over here its not being released till May. Is it out over there already??

But I might have to get this book, it looks neat.

Have you been interviewing new Queens? Oopps I meant realtors? Are your ready to list if she says no? And last question - what's your gut feeling?

I'm off to bed too. My DH needs some attention. Hopefully, I'm good enough and 15 minutes is all it takes! :rotfl: Katrina came home to handle some stuff for school and Becky went back with her for the night since Becky is on spring break. That leaves Chuck & I in the house alone. He always gets ideas when that happens. Luckily, they'll both be back tomorrow. Chuck & I went out and enjoyed the hot tub. Beautiful night! I love spring & summer. Now, it's times for lights out. One good thing came out of all this - he did ask me how the budget stuff is coming about Disney. We talked about it for a little while. Talk to you tomorrow.

I can't believe I almost missed this. Ewwwww, Vicki, ewwwww! :rotfl:

And where's Pal Mickey during this attention? I hope you have a blindfold for him and maybe some earplugs. :lmao:

Amy :)

Hi, everyone.

I just talked to the GI doctor. We are going to see him on Tuesday at 12:15pm. He is trying to figure out which test to run on Rees to see the status on his reflux and Fundoplication. Rees has severe anxiety and gets very upset at the hospital. All of the tests require Rees to drink something, which wouldn't work with sedation. So, he's looking into which test would be the least stressful for Rees and give him the information he needs. Everyone agrees that most likely the Fundo has failed and needs repairing. What he worried about is the possibility that the Fundo has also herniated into his chest. The surgeon would need to know that information before proceeding.

They have doubled his reflux meds to get us through the weekend, and if he has another bad episode before his appointment, we are to go to the ER. I am hoping we can schedule whatever test he decides to order for next week. Once we get the results we'll schedule surgery. John and I are estimating that surgery would be in the next 2-3 weeks with a 5-7 day hospital stay and then recovery at home. Rees also needs a tendon release on his foot (from the Cerebral Palsy), so we will contact the Orthopaedic surgeon to see if they can do them both at the same time.

Thank you again for all the prayers, calls, and support. It means so much to us all. And Happy Easter and Passover to all of our DDA friends!

You, Rees and all your family will be in my prayers.

We have a family friend that will most likely be our realtor, but we haven't contacted her yet. My gut feeling is she's going to say no, but I've had a lousy week, so I hope I'm wrong!

Amy :)

P.S. Kristine, I wish you could be our realtor!

I am off to get my hair cut and colored. Can't wait to get this gray covered up!!!

Tammi, is your hair chemically dependent too?

My grandmother was COMPLETELY gray in her early twenties, and I could very well be (I’m in the mid 30 range) but with chemical dependency…. I am just not sure if I would be FULL ON gray like my grandmother.
