The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 5

I should be getting up to go downstairs and work on my office since I said I was going to post a picture of my progress at the end of the day (on the Motivation and Support thread). However, I have a dog laying beside me on the recliner resting her head on my legs snoring away! Wouldn't it be mean of me to move when she is so comfortable??!! One of these days, I have to have my family get a picture of her doing this.

What kind of mustard do you use? Yellow, brown, dijon?? I don't want to mess it up.

Whatever is in the fridge! (Normally yellow is what I use.)

Kate, Stephanie just came in here and saw your signature and said, "BELLE! And she's writing Kay-Kay's (Kaelyn) name!" I said, it looks like Kaelyn, but it's really Kate. Then she said, "welllll, it looks like Kay-Kay"

our cats do that to DH and its always his excuse not to move from the chair when I want him to do something

It would definitely be mean to move him

How about everyone goes back to make sure their info is current or we create a new one since it is 5 months old? I know that really helped me when I first joined to figure out who everyone was.

Haven't read anything this am. Good morning! On our way to school. Rees slept through the night. Said he feels better this am, but the first thing he asked me was to take him to the doctor to make his tummy feel better. I have a call in to the GI doc. I'll let you know when I find out any more details. Thanks again for all the prayers.

I'm glad he got some rest last night.

Has anyone listened to Sara Evan's albums?

After Kellie Pickler sang suds in the bucket on AI I downloaded Sara's latest two albums and they're really good - just thought I'd recommend them...

There's a funny story too, when DH heard suds he said it reminded him of a song we heard on our last trip, I asked him for more details, lyrics etc but he couldn't remember anything... so anyway I'm driving to work listening to Sara Evans for the first time and I hear this track, real fine place, and I realise I'm singing along... even though this is my first listen... I figure I must have heard in on tv but couldn't find anything on google, so I played it to DH... and it was the song from holiday!

OK ladies, I need some help here. I'm trying to find a decent bag for our next Disney trip. I want something small, something that can hold a camera, water bottle, towel (don't laugh!) and park maps. Nothing major, since it will be going on rides with me! I really like the bags that cross the body.

but when I received it and tried it on...I just didn't like it. Too big for me, and the "girls" didn't like how wide the front strap was.
So I returned it. Here are my next two choices.

Then I kept looking...that was my mistake. Your posts always make me laugh. I love your humor.

Robyn, thank you. I get my smart ____ (insert another word for donkey) ability from my mother. I find it makes some people (including yours truly) smile in the not so great times.

I do believe that laughter and smiling can help make life better.

I was a flight medic (I flew on planes and cared for patients while they traveled to another hospital) for a few years of my AF Reserve career. I always found that the patients enjoyed the smiles and laughter.



I do hope I don’t offend anyone. If I do, please let me know.

I first posted on 12/26. My first post was on the introduction thread, then the weight loss accountability thread and the same night on the monster thread. I'd been lurking for a little while. I think I sent Kate a pm the same day and she was kind enough to help me get started with PhotoImpact.

And in true DDA fashion, Tammi was the first one to welcome me followed by Kate.

I forgot to tell everyone after our talk of rings the other night I had the weirdest dream. It's all this boards fault. It involved Disney, engagement rings, pearl shopping in Japan and the Haunted Mansion. As you can see, it was a weird dream. I woke up laughing. And yes, it was a sad laugh!

Oh dear friend…. You cannot blame the great people of this board for your addiction and the things that come from your addiction.

However we will be more than happy to FEED the addiction at any given time.
