Have to show off my family!

Wow! You got the Power Rangers to come play horse shoes at your house! Cool! I have Buzz Lightyear come watch movies with me (Toy Story of course) with me all the time. Looks like a lot of fun! BK's Easter dress is so adorable. I love it! I'm glad the boys had a great time at karate.

They LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it! They had so much fun, and Davis got an extra "high five" award for being the first to say "yes, sir". I think this will be so good for them, and I'm just glad they enjoyed it. Here's some more pictures.

Denise, I noticed that they're at an ATA facility. We want to put Christopher in karate and the place we chose is ATA so I'm interested to see how you like it. I don't know how much they vary nationwide.

We tried one lesson when he was 4 but decided to wait until he's 5 1/2 - 6 years old.

They don't sell them in Epcot anymore.... according to one CM in United Kingdom (as of January). He said they hadn't had them for at least a month and didn't know if they were going to get them in ever again. I can't imagine that he was correct.... I'm really hoping he was wrong.

That's why I can never find them! I just thought they were always out, which would make sense too!

So we're off for a walk. We couldn't decide what we wanted to grill, so we made everything! :rotfl: Gotta burn off the feast (although it was a pretty healthy one)

Have a good evening!

Denise-love all the photos. Gotta say again I can't believe all you do. Your house, complete with all the Easter decorations, would put my mess to shame.

Thanks, Kristin. I can't believe that I am contemplating another stroller, but we will be going on two trips in the next year and the rentals alone would pay for a Maclaren, plus the home use. Of course, if we leave Boston in the next six months then we won't use it at home near as much. Oh, the decisions!

Normally, I would probably tell you not to do it, but as we had major wheel problems with my lightweight, travel stroller (Read: the back wheel kept flying off :furious: ), I know how frustrating it can be to have a stroller not at 100%. We really love the Mac. Kyle will be 3 in June and there are no more babies in our future, but I still don't regret spending the money on it. You'll love it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Is the DL logo OK? I haven't been there since '89 so I don't remember what it looks like...

Where's the best and cheapest place to get a Macleran? Is the Triumph what I would need for Rees? He's 41 pounds and 45" tall. He definitely has outgrown his stroller, and I need one mainly for Disney, going to the zoo, etc.

Kristin, which Mac did you buy?

Techno XT- it is rated to 55 lbs. Kyle is about 42" tall and still has plenty of room. I love it!!!!! The 2005 is $164.99 at Allbee Baby in 5 different colors.

Well, I don't know. Phil and I were just "discussing" that part. For me, it's okay, but I'm not thrilled with it. By about 12:30 or so, I just really hate my job. Phil does not like it at all, but I can't tell how much of that is him not enjoying being in charge for so long and how much is really having a problem with it. Terra I'm not sure about. She has woke up crying most mornings this week, something she also did for the first month or two after we moved here and I started being at work when she awoke. I tend to think that she is just adjusting. Phil thinks it would be better if I changed to 30 hours a week working 8:30-3 (I'm doing 6:30-3, but don't think they would let me end my day any earlier than that if I changed). I don't see how my being there for an extra two hours in the morning will make a difference, especially when she will be asleep for most to all of it. I think our major difference in opinion is that he thinks Terra doesn't like me being gone so long whereas I think the issue is my being gone all afternoon.

Okay, much more than you were expecting from such a simple question, I'm sure. Thank you for asking, though. It helps to know that we are thought about. I just think that I am really going to have to step up the St. Louis job search because then at least there would be options for Phil and Terra in that she could play at my mom's or sisters' for awhile to give them all a break.

:grouphug: Good luck with your decision! Remember, you can vent here ANY time!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, everyone.

I just talked to the GI doctor. We are going to see him on Tuesday at 12:15pm. He is trying to figure out which test to run on Rees to see the status on his reflux and Fundoplication. Rees has severe anxiety and gets very upset at the hospital. All of the tests require Rees to drink something, which wouldn't work with sedation. So, he's looking into which test would be the least stressful for Rees and give him the information he needs. Everyone agrees that most likely the Fundo has failed and needs repairing. What he worried about is the possibility that the Fundo has also herniated into his chest. The surgeon would need to know that information before proceeding.

They have doubled his reflux meds to get us through the weekend, and if he has another bad episode before his appointment, we are to go to the ER. I am hoping we can schedule whatever test he decides to order for next week. Once we get the results we'll schedule surgery. John and I are estimating that surgery would be in the next 2-3 weeks with a 5-7 day hospital stay and then recovery at home. Rees also needs a tendon release on his foot (from the Cerebral Palsy), so we will contact the Orthopaedic surgeon to see if they can do them both at the same time.

Thank you again for all the prayers, calls, and support. It means so much to us all. And Happy Easter and Passover to all of our DDA friends!

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: (one for each Fig! :) ) Hoping for a quick and simple resolution!!

ETA: The kiddos are too cute!! DH isn't too bad either- but he needs to be wearing a DDA shirt!!!!! :rotfl2:

When I was looking for cupcake ideas today I came across a recipe for these groovy cupcakes. I immediately thought of Kristine and this thread :teeth:
