The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 5

I am doing my "animations" (if you can call them that) on Photoshop. But I haven't downloaded a gif animator yet, so they're pretty simple!

Jen are you using image ready to do them? That's how I did my basic ones but I can't get the signatures right yet... I do have the gif programme that Kate is using - may have to install it... I'm trying to stay away from it until my assignments are done though!

It's like how they say that there is "BREAKING NEWS" every 5-10 minutes lately, when I was younger that only happened in a major emergency!!!

Julie - that is so true - whenever they put the news on at an odd time and say Breaking News my heart stops for a second, just lately it's been to let us know some celebrity has died... yes that's very sad - but not breaking news.

Julie, I pray that everything turns out to be okay with Cody.

This afternoon, I had to drive by our vet's office and later this evening, I was watching a DVD with Alyssa, but I was just picking at the white kitty hair that is still there on our loveseat. I never thought I would take losing a pet this hard, but now I know I will always empathize with others who experience this kind of heartbreak.

I know how you feel and it is heart breaking, especially as not everyone understands that pets are as much a part of our families as the humans in them, and when we lose them the grief is just as strong.

I will go through it one more time to finalize it. If anyone sees a problem for themselves, let me know. The blank t-shirts are on their way to me. I should have them early next week and I'll get them sent off to where they need to go.

We leave for Orlando early on the 4th November (a Saturday) so I'd need him by the 2nd to make sure he doesn't have a two week stay in the post office

If it helps any Kate posted my shoes on April 5 and they arrived here on the 10th.

I wonder if it might be easier to give Tammi my hotel address (offsite) and get him posted to or delivered there.

Are any of them free in the summer July/August for some day trips round Bristol?

has anyone else ever noticed that Minnie's house in toontown does not have a bedroom?!?!?

I'm way back, like 30 pages. But I'm catching up....

I'm going to override my OCD for a moment and hope that I will have some replies by the time I catch up.

My December trip.... I am taking my sister. She's much older than me. 69. Never been to Disney.

So I was talking to her last night and she says "Disney is your passion not mine. I'm never going to Disney with you. I need a new refridgerator, have to have the house painted..." blah, blah, blah. She is retired and on a fixed income and I understand that. I was paying her airfare, hotel and food. Her son was getting her park ticket. So all she needed was souviner money.

Do you think she really wants to go, but thinks she can't afford it and her pride is talking, or does she really not want to go????

I am so upset, I really can't get my arms around this.

Oh no and you were so excited about the trip! If she was only paying spending money then it might be pride talking... not sure how you get round that one though... hopefully someone else has better advise but I can send you some

When are you all arriving in DC?
I get there Thursday and have promised DH that I will do whatever he wants until Saturday - at which time he has to do what I want - which is of course hang out with the DDA!!! He is a good sport and is looking forward to it!! Did you all know you get to meet Mr. Kate?

We leave late Sunday night - so I thought we could do something on Saturday afternoon - into the night and then Sunday morning -

I am not sure where we should go - the bars I used to hang out in probably aren't what us old ladies want to do now!!

Tammi and I are planning to drive up Saturday a.m. I think. But I don't even know where we are staying yet. I guess that is on a "need to know" basis

I wake up to TONS of posts. But talk of turtles, Mickey and Minnie and re-upholstering plastic chairs. Eeewwwwww...

To Tinknme, Tia and Denise - We are definately gonna have to come up with a time to meet while at Disney. But we shouldn't be hard to find, we'll all be in personalized t-shirts with matching Crocs and green mickey heads everywhere!

My cat Annabelle is going spastic...she's chasing imaginary bugs all over the place...sliding on the kitchen floor trying to stop, scratching her cat tree, running to the window and hitting the screens...geeze!

UP - If getting Mickey from one place to another is gonna be difficult, just let me know the weight of him and his luggage and I can buy a UPS or USPS label right before we go and just ship him right from Disney to the next top on his Around the World tour.
