Thanks all for the good wishes about Rees today. He refluxed once today, but not bad. We're really watching his diet and giving him his meds. So far it's working! I just spent a fortune at Borders books and Target for Easter stuff. I got the Tink book for BK. I think she'll love it. Got the boys the 2 new books that continue the "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" series. They are hilarious. Got candy and new swim vests for the pool. And they're getting 2 pairs of Disney pj's each for summer.

Hope everyone is having a good day. Off to boil eggs to color them tomorrow. Have another Pizzaria Uno in the oven. I'll be back later!

Ewwwww!!

I was laughing hysterically and Chuck asked me why. This is just too funny! I'll never be able to look at our real turtle again in the same way!!!!

So I've been ruined by the turtle talk last night. Tonight a girl in her late teens or twenties comes into work with a green shirt on. The back of the shirt has two turtles on top of each other, doing you know what. I burst out laughing I could not help myself and was given a very weird look.

Hopefully if Denise gets a turtle Tattoo it will not be this.


On a more serious Disney note, this little boy kept asking to go look at the suitcases. He kept insisting that she buy him a suitcase. I only want a small one.

Why do you want a suitcase. For school, but also when I go see Mickey Mouse.

She told him He didn't need one but he insited for quite a while he needed a suitcase, he was very nice about it no temper tantrum or anything but he really wanted a suitcase.

Yep, you do a save as from her site to your computer. Then you log into your photobucket account and search for it from your hard drive to add it there.

You can also click on properties and copy the properties and on photobucket there is an upload from URL option - you can click on that and then paste the properties in and you skip the whole saving it to your computer process

Yes, save it to your hard drive on your computer. Then upload it to photobucket. It really is perfect for you.

Hi, friends!

Lawsy, you guys were TALKATIVE the last few days. It has taken me all day, reading here and there, to get caught up!

I can barely remember all that I read, but it seems like everyone is in good spirits, and that deserves a for a change. It's nice to see people feeling better, getting to spend time with family, getting answers to their questions, etc.

I don't have much to report, except that I do have 1 new assistant starting Monday! I think she will be good. (I also think my former assistant, whose last day was today, was a little taken aback that her chair would barely be cold before we had someone new! Hope she likes her new job! ) I'm really hopeful that this assistant will be well-trained enough by early June so I can steal away for a few days to Kauai with my family. We still have one more assistant to hire - will be glad when we do!

I'll be in and out all weekend - we aren't traveling, which is nice. DH's b-day is Sunday, and he wanted to spend it at home, even though it is Easter, which we typically spend with our families in Houston. We'll still be busy doing stuff around the house, our taxes, and I know each of us has work to do. It won't be anything like his b-day last year - which was spent in WDW!!! I will be on Sunday when my AP expires!

Happy Easter and Passover to all my DDA friends!

Vicki - it was not just you - I would post Squirt and Crush designs and everyone would ooh and ahh over them

the worst was when I posted one that was crush and said Grab shell Dude - I am your ticket to DW and Becky asked if I was making the shirt for my dad since he was paying for me to go do the Half marathon - that was truly an EEEWWWWWWW moment for me!!!!

Sorry Kate, didn't mean to give you an ewww moment.

All this turtle talk made me think of something.

One of the sororities has the turtle as their mascot. The running joke on campus was, once they're on their back they are screwed.

We just got back from taking the kids & one of their friends to see
THE WILD... well, I love Disney, I support Disney..but oh man...
It was like watching Lion King & Madacascar rolled together but with characters that are not likable. They ripped off older Disney ideas..nothing original....wierd..they have so much creative talent..wait a minute KATE!!! maybe you should give Disney some ideas for an original or at least an entertaining new movie!! They need help..they need Kate!

Speaking of ideas. Today I was on the Family Fun Website and stumbled upon the Family Fun Reader Panel. They pay you for your idea if they use it in the magazine, send you surveys and other things. I thought I should share with the DDA as we have so many creative families on this board.

Then I had a we should just create our own magazine or e-zine. I am sure we could do it. We talk about everything from weight loss, to cleaning, to arts and crafts, to kid problems, to Disney, lots of fun and everything else under the sun. We have designers who could design it and people who can proofread and write articles and to do everything else. We are so creative here and do everything.

With the talk about Kate and her chart and book it got me thinking that this could be possible. Although perhaps I am just way out there.

Becky -- I love your imagination and creativity! Wish we could find someone to hire you to do nothing but sit around and come up with them all day long! But, most of us are already working too many hours a day and/or night to do this... wouldn't it be just amazing to see though?!? <<insert nodding smiley here>>
