I just talked to Delta and the gentleman - just reassured me by obviously reading a script - that talks are going well and they do not anticipate a strike but if it does happen Delta will do all in their power to accomodate us

Could you please pray for our neighbor Mr Wilson?


I noticed I hadn't seen him the yard the last couple days. After school on Mondays Erich always brings the Wilson's garbage can back up to their house from the road.He came running home saying Mr Wilson fell and hurt his head,he's in the hospital and paralyzed on one side. So Joe and I went over to see what was wrong. Apparently late Fri. afternoon he fell outside,maybe off a ladder,his wife isn't sure.Joe had been with him about 2:30 pm Fri. afternoon helping him get a tire off his boat trailer.Mrs Wilson got him in the house ,he said he felt nauseous and went to go up stairs to the bathroom were he fell again and hit his head VERY hard on the corner of the wall.. Their daughter took him to the ER where the did a cat scan and immediately got him to surgery as he had a terrible brain bleed. He's unconscious and they believe his paralyzed on his left side.

I am stunned.

He's only 71,such a character.When Erich was 2-5 years old he followed Mr. Wilson all over the place,we use to call Erich, Dennis the Menace.Mr. Wilson is shaped like Dennis's Mr. Wilson ,always has a plaid shirt on but he has a full head of white hair and a smile on his face and always a joke or a wise crack when you see him.

We've been neighbors for 14 years.He has been the BEST neighbor. Please send your prayers and good thoughts that he recovers.

How do your 10 and 5 year olds get along? There will be 5 years between Christopher and this baby and I worry all of the time that I've waited too long .

Nick was 7 and Hunter was 5 when Colby was born. The older two are pretty much glued at the hip when not in school, so Colby is often left with dh and I as his playmates. He adores his older brothers and they adore him too. They are very protective of him around other children and love to show him off. If one of the older 2 isn't around then Colby and whichever brother is home get along wonderfully. There is no fighting there. The age difference works fine for us.

Ok people...I have worked on some bad projects before....but nothing and I mean NOTHING could have prepared me for the absolute horror of trying to make one of those tye dye shirts!!!! It was like an episode of the I Love Lucy Show...dye flying through the air...shirts falling...kids crying...Bill swearing...I basically dyed everything around me except the dog!!!!!!!!I can't imagine this shirt turning out. to all of you who made them!!! I am in awe!

Kate...looks like you will have to make them for the group...

I need a drink!

OK, I'm off to bed. I see that I've been very chatty myself today. I have less than 20 to my 1000 milestone. I'm not anywhere as creative as others on here, but I'll try to come up with something for tomorrow. Night all!!!!

So I let my insane jealousy of my 4 yo get the best of me and I permed my hair!! I was bored and wanted a change and Julia has been telling me more and more she wants her hair straight like mine - I decided it would be better to make mine curly like hers - so Dawn you are getting your wish and can see a curly haired mom for Julia!! I also think having curly hair is more believable for me now that I have Julia!!

Here you can see my crocs - AND I would like to point out that NONE of these pictures were taken at the front door!!!

I like it...looks good!!!! Maybe Tammi, Marti, Julie & I will get our hair permed too!

I'm not too confident...it really was an awful experience and a terrible mess! Somehow I soaked through my shirt...and I am not kidding..I have blue ****s! Can you just imagine what Bill will say to that?!

you should all know had mad DH was when he found out he didn't get to wear the crown for a whole week - that is was only for a day!!

we might be on to something!!

Well, mine is definitely NOT in the running today! I was just instant messaging him (yes, he's just in the other room) about how I had made brownies because there is peanut butter cup ice cream in the freezer that was SO good with brownies last week. He then proceeds to tell me that he didn't know I was saving it and ate it. Luckily, for him it was just a joke and the ice cream is still there, but it was NOT funny for a minute there.

The promise of brownies and ice cream are what is helping me keep my sanity right now. It is starting to look for a LONG night. It is now 11:42pm and Terra just work up a hour ago after sleeping for over FIVE hours! I don't know what got into her, but she wanted to listen to Yo Ho Yo Ho, Small World and Grim Grinning Ghosts earlier. Before Grim Grinning Ghosts was over, she was out cold on my lap and it wasn't even 5:30. Now who nows what the night will hold. I'm thinking that in a little while it will be time for the little tv with movie in bed while mommy sleeps! And just think...next week I start having to leave for work at 5:20am.
