I promise I'll post the Easter ideas, but I've got to take the kids to an activity at the church and then I'll be home. See you all in about an hour!

Ok, I'm headed out :guilty:

Post all you want, just think about me every now and then, sitting there reading whatever I can find (textbook, anyone?) for the next 12 hours. :rotfl:

At least on days you can play with the babies! :confused3 76 RT hours to go...........

That might be the saddest thing I have ever heard!!!

Out of everything I posted this afternoon, THIS is what you choose to comment on?!!

Besides, my manilla folders were a precursor to my awesome scrapbooking skills! :teeth:

Amy :)

Denise, I hope all the kiddos manage to rest tonight, so you can rest too! Sending lots of :grouphug: and :wizard: that everyone feels better soon!

I do have some things that we do. I can post them here, or I can PM you if you want. Are you looking for religious or secular activities? I love to share what we do.
Both :) and thanks!

I don't mind if you PM or post, but other people would probably love to hear your ideas :goodvibes

Yes, you are correct. Rees got very sick at the end of our trip due to too much stress on his little body. I talked to his therapists and Pediatrician about it today, and they all said December is the best for him. Also, Rees is refluxing again (he had HORRIBLE GERD as a small child and was hospitalized for months at a time, was on feeding tubes, didn't eat anything orally, had to have a major surgery called a Nissen Fundoplication). Well, the Ped is sending us to the GI doc in 2 weeks cause he thinks the Fundo has loosened up. That surgery is MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR. Rees was in the hospital for a week and 2 weeks recovery at home. It would require him to get a feeding tube again.

Also he had surgery on his foot 15 months ago for a tendon release, and it is tight again. So that is definitely one major surgery and likely 2 within this year. He already misses so much school for being sick legitimately, that I can't afford for him to miss 5 days of school.

So good news is, I get to see you and Marti/Hunka/Matt at Disney~ That's a great reason to celebrate. Looks like we'll go Dec 15-22 or 23. My only problem now is the plane tickets.
Denise,
I'm glad you feel good about your decision now. Rees has been through so much and that family time will mean so much whether it's in October or December :goodvibes .

Lots of :grouphug: to our little man Rees.

You just listed half of my Christmas presents last year! But The Outsiders...that wins hands down. I can still recite that movie to this day.

That is by far the BEST movie in EVER! How can you go wrong when the cast includes: C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, and Tom Cruise. Leif Garrett is in it too, but I never had a "thing" for him (and drugs did nothing to help his aging process!).

Jennifer, if you haven't seen this movie, I'm going to make you watch it!!!

But, I have a craft room in the basement of our new house! That means no excuses, because I can leave my stuff out all the time! :thumbsup2

Don't let that fool you! My stuff is out all the time, all over our dining room table, and I am constantly a year and a half behind.

I had a tubal ligation during my c-section.
I was afraid no one wanted to discuss it. I don't either :teeth:

Brian wants me to get the tubal ligation during my c-section. I'm not so sure because I only know 2 people that have had it done and both had severe problems after. One ended up having a hysterectomy 6 months later, the other just has more female problems (I'll leave it at that in case they guys are reading).

Brian was going to have a V until the Dr. said definitely a repeat c-section. He thinks he's too old to have anymore kids. I'm not sure I want to stop at 2. I figure if I make him take care of it, he never will and there may be a chance of another.

Anyway, any advice? Have you had any problems?

Ok, Rees and BK are on Augmentin. BK's temp was over 104 at the doctor's office. She is really sick with ears, sinus, etc infections. What a fun week this has been. Hopefully they'll perk up soon. John and I are supposed to go out to a nice dinner and to the Symphony on Sat to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Thanks for all the good thoughts, prayers, and notes of encouragement.

Looks like I may be in a roller coaster again with Rees. Poor kid. He never ever ever ever ever gets a break.
More :grouphug: for Brantley Kate, and here's some for Davis too :grouphug: .

Oh and can't forget mom and dad :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: .

I'll think about you Saturday. We're going out to celebrate our 11th anniversary as well :goodvibes

Is your September airfare through them? I know what their policy states, but it couldn't hurt to ask them to change you with no penalty. We have done that with both of our trips. Granted, both times they messed up -- but it was actually very minor mistakes, and they made HUGE changes for us.

I would actually, in this case, suggest emailing them via the contact us link. The lady (at least I've been in contact with the same lady multiple times) that responds to that is quite friendly, and the worst she could do is actually charge you the change fee and you are already expecting that, no?

Good luck with whatever you decide, but please give it a shot! :wizard:

Yes, it is with AirTran. I will contact them when they release their December dates. Can't hurt to try!

DH has an appointment this month for one -

here is my take on it - it is an out patient procedure - low risk - and will cost us the $15 office co-pay

after I had two c-sections - this is the least he can do!!
