No cheerleader here either. I was a bit wild in high school so I doubt I would have lasted on the squad. Like you I was friends with lots of them, though.

No cheerleader here either...and I wasn't even friends with any....football players yes (I was a brainiac that all people came to for answers) and I am sure this will shock all but I hardly talked to anybody in school. I am a wallflower of the worst sort. Though I did come out of my shell a bit in England because I was at a DOD school with lots of other kids who had moved all the time too. Still no cheerleader friends but footballers yes.

I'm pretty sure you have this right. Hopefully Chanon will chime in too.

We bought our APs at the Disney Store before we left and then activated them on our first day at WDW.

And, I'm really jealous that you're going on the DDA trip...no fair!!!! :teeth:

Amy :)

By the way did anyone ever turn in our AP's from the party's goodie bags???

I didn't say for sure I was going yet, but I want to have everything figured out for when I call and book my airfare this weekend!!!! I hope it all works out!!! Hopefully the kids parents I babysit for will be OK w/ this when I tell them today, that is all I am waiting for really!!!!

I don't drink milk. I wonder how much calcium is in the cream filling :rolleyes1

I'll send you an email in a little bit. Which shows did you just catch up on?

No milk?!! I'm speechless! What do you drink with your peanut butter sandwiches?

Last night we watched three episodes of Lost: the one where Sun found out she's pregnant, the one where the hatch went berserk, and last night's lastest focusing mostly on Hurley.

I'm still behind on Grey's Anatomy, so don't go there! :)

Amy :)

I put the cheerleaders in order when I was on yearbook staff in high school...I told my students not to do this when I was the yearbook advisor at Princeton. Does that make sense now Blondie?!! ;) :teeth:

Amy :)

:teeth: :teeth: You are hysterical today~!!!!!

Must be due to lack of sleep from the posting party last night w/ all of my fellow LOSERS!!!!!

We actually have 8 elephants and lions left over from the party, and I'd rather eat Golden Oreos! I guess, I'm just a little tired of my cookies!

Kristine, a Golden Oreo is simply an oreo in a vanilla version. They also have "uh oh" Oreos that are vanilla cookies with chocolate filling.

Amy :)

I would probably like both these versions because I love the elf cookies but I can never get myself to buy any oreos but the "Double stuff" regular oreos. I so love those things. That and twizzlers is my downfall. If I open a bag of either, I have trouble not eating them all in one sitting.

So I log on to take a quick look and low and behold I'm 15 pages behind again :confused3 You just don't want a girl to get anything done day or night. I'm sure the tag fairy will come along any time now and I'll get an always behind tag :teeth: I'm on page 1136 and have to go to work now so I'll try yet again to catch up later. Have fun y'all, But not too much fun ;)

Deb

By the way, a few of you have insinuated that Jennifer and Kyle should look at our house, if anything to get a free dinner out of it! :teeth: Just to clarify, I think our house is probably too small and old for what they're looking for.

But I did buy $25 worth of ribeyes to serve for dinner on Saturday! :thumbsup2

Water. I'm about to float away and my Dr. still says I'm not drinking enough

So am I the only one that wants to go on a cookie eating binge now? Hmmm...I think I need a few things from the grocery store ;)

See, I'm terrible about the water thing. My pee is never clear, but luckily, my doctors haven't reprimanded me too much. I'm supposed to do my diabetes test this week...I hate drinking that orange stuff.

Okay, I know I'm a little thick but let me see if I have this right!!!

I can go ahead and cancel my parkhopper tickets for December for just me, and add a one day base ticket for just me so that I can still keep the dining plan. Everybody else's tickets will stay the same if I do this and we will all have dining???? Is it based on the length of stay???

Should I just buy my AP when I get there in May or do it beforehand??? Do I need to do anything else besides making an airline ressie??? Let me know!!!!

Actually the tickets have to be the same for everyone on the package. SOOO...what I would suggest is that you change everyone's ticket NOW to a one day base ticket. When you get there, you will UPGRADE everyone elses tickets to how ever many days they need, but not change yours. Tickets are NOT based upon length of stay.

Don't get me started!

(chorus) Brass Monkey - that funky Monkey
Brass Monkey - junkie
That funky Monkey

Got this dance that's more than real
Drink Brass Monkey - here's how you feel
Put your left leg down - your right leg up
Tilt your head back - let's finish the cup
M.C.A. with the bottle - D. rocks the can
Adrock gets nice with Charlie Chan
We're offered Moet - we don't mind Chivas
Wherever we go with bring the Monkey with us
Adrock drinks three - Mike D. is D.
Double R. foots the bill most definitely
I drink Brass Monkey and I rock well
I got a Castle in Brooklyn - that's where I dwell

(repeat chorus)

Cause I drink it anytime - and anyplace
When it's time to get ill - I pour it on my face
Monkey tastes Def when you pour it on ice
Come on y'all it's time to get nice
Coolin' by the lockers getting kind of funky
Me and the crew - we're drinking Brass Monkey
This girl walked by - she gave me the eye
I reached in the locker - grabbed the Spanish Fly
I put it with the Monkey - mixed it in the cup
Went over to the girl, "Yo baby, what's up?"
I offered her a sip - the girl she gave me lip
It did begin the stuff wore in and now she's on my tip
Step up to the bar - put the girl down
She takes a big gulp and slaps it around
Take a sip - you can do it - you get right to it
We had a case in the place and we went right through it
You got a dry Martini - thinking you're cool
I'll take your place at the bar - I smack you off your stool
I'll down a '40 dog" in a single gulp
And if you got beef you'll get beat to a pulp
Monkey and parties and reelin' and rockin'
Def, def - girls, girls - all y'all jockin'
The song and dance keeping you in a trance
If you don't buy my record I got my advance
I drink it - I think it - I see it - I be it
I love Brass Monkey but I won't give D. it
We got the bottle - you got the cup
Come on everybody let's get ffffff

:rotfl: I just bought this CD for DH this AM for his bday!!!!!!!!

Julie - I believe when you book a package that everyone on the package has to have the same things - the same # of nights at the resort, the same # of days on the tickets, and everyone has to either have (or not have) free dining.

So, I believe that if you get an AP, you will need to rebook (or change, however best works) everyone in your family to having one-day base MYW tickets, still with the free dining. (I know the dining credits are based on the # of nights you're staying - they don't have anything to do with the tickets.)

Then, when you check-in to your resort, you can let the CM know that you would like to upgrade the other 3 members of your families 1-day base tickets to tickets for your length of stay (however many days/features you need). As Chanon said, you will still have YOUR 1-day base ticket. You can put it away to use later, or you know, you might even be able to apply the worth of your 1-day base tickets to the $$ balance of upgrading everyone else's tickets. (I'm not sure about that part, but don't see why you couldn't. Although since 1-day tickets are more expensive per day than the other higher-days tickets, it might be best to keep it for use down the road, or to apply to tickets another time.)

I hope this helps, and didn't confuse you more! :goodvibes

Wow, that was well-written so I could understand it too. Can you buy AP's when you are at Disney? Could she upgrade her 1 day base ticket to an AP while she is there when she upgrades everyone else's tickets? Or does that have to be ordered ahead of time?

Since I was already there today, please pick up some Twizzlers for me.

Thanks Vicki!!! :teeth:

(and now I will explain this to Julie, since she is tired from posting with her fellow Losers last night. Yes, I know I was responding to Dawn, but Vicki just mentioned liking Twizzlers too, and now I have a craving for them. Hence, my sarcastic "thanks." Do you understand? :rotfl2: )

I think in Julie's situation, since she will be going on a trip prior to this one with the free dining package, she will have already purchased her AP, so that wouldn't work for her. But, what you suggest would work for someone that does not have to have the AP beforehand.

You can buy your AP ahead of time, either via phone or internet through Disney, or at the Disney Store. Some people like to buy them ahead of time to spread the expense out. Also, if you buy it ahead of time, you can log into the passholder website using your voucher #, and be able to check out the special deals, book AP room-only rates online, etc. You're also "supposed" to have an AP before booking these AP rates over the phone with CRO.

Of course, you can also buy your AP when you get to WDW, just like any other ticket.
