After I saw the first picture of Julia that you posted I thought the same thing!

Several years ago, my dad bought us a video titled "A Day at Disneyland". It literally takes you on all the rides so you can see what they are like. My kids love that tape! It's quite old (the "new" ride on the tape is Splash Mtn.) and I had heard rumors that they were going to do a new version, but I haven't seen one yet. You can bet I'll be looking when I go in June.

Good luck at the Doctor's tomorrow! Sending :wizard: that he will be able to pinpoint what's wrong without affecting your May 18 trip.

That is one of Terra's favorite ones!! A friend has the tape and made her a DVD of it. She watches it all of the time to the point of having it memorized. My favorite part is when we were on the Jungle Cruise before they added the guns back in. When we hit the hippo pool, she yells out "Take that! And that! Bang! Bang!" I about died laughing.

Paul is NEVER down - and he's been in bed all day. Here's the bad news: Matthew "debuts" as one of the three little pigs in his school play tonight. When I told him daddy was sick - he had this look of horror on his face. His eyes welled up with tears and he said "Daddy isn't going to be there?!" and I told him it would take a lot more than a little cold to stop your daddy from being at your school play. So the big lug is in the shower now....

what we do for love!

What a Dad!! Feel better Paul.

Matt - Break a leg!

Ellen-did you book a trip? I had heard that ASMo didn't have AP discounts on this last round so I was wondering if you were able to get free dining there. I stayed there for the first time with my DS(4), a friend, her DH, and her DS(15). We had adjoining rooms in the Love Bug section. At first I was disappointed as we had asked for Toy Story or Dalmations but we ended up loving our location. We were very close to the elevator on the 3rd floor on the quiet side of the building. I think it was the quietest room I've ever had at Disney. And the walk to the food court wasn't too bad. We enjoyed everything we had at the food court (mostly breakfast) and while there were often huge lines late at night they were actually very efficient. We really enjoyed the icecream but that station was the slowest but worth the wait. I'm anxious to try Pop in May.

Well I ended up booking Pop Century, but I may still change my mind. I called from home this morning right at 7am, but then couldn't wait on hold, so I hung up and called on my cell phone on the way to work. I held for 24 minutes and then I was at work and had to hang up again. All the while I was trying not to freak out, because last year we were able to book free dining with no problem, I didn't really think they would completely sell out in the first day. But inside I was still sort of freaking out anyway. Well finally around 11:45am I got a break for lunch so I called again, and I got right through with no wait. I booked Pop Century with no problem. I thought about asking about All Star Movies, but I didn't have much time today so I didn't want to stay on the phone and for some reason I am still leaning towards Pop Century, even though DH thought it might be fun to try something new. So I figured I would be best to just book something, and think about it later.

Now I just need to call back and see if I can get cheap air, because I read that you can get round trip on AirTran for $129 if you book through Disney. I tried pricing it on the website, and it looks like Disney's Airtran rates are lower than through Airtran's own site, but I would need to call to add it to my existing reservation. I'll try calling again tomorrow.

I'm really excited to have the extra trip and the free dining!! :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

All right I have caught up!! :thumbsup2

I am sorry I missed posting these on the actual days but I thought of you all:

Happy Anniversary TripleFig Household!!!

Many more happy years!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Alyssa!!

Sounds like the party was a blast!!

I spent quite a bit of the weekend crying...seem to be doing that an awful lot lately!! With my grandpa flooding the basement(third time in just over 2 years) we took this as the straw that broke this camel's back. We are holding on to our ressie's for right now for July for WDW but it looks like we are taking that money and moving out of my grandparent's house instead. So Glynis expect to see my family in UT this summer!! The girls were so sweet and said this way we could meet some of mommy's DDA friends.
We wanted to go to the mountains on Sunday as it was such a beautiful day....we stopped for lunch and by the time we got back from lunch the car had a 5 foot puddle around it. :guilty: So we had about 5 hours and a dead cell phone before we could get a hold of anybody to come and get us. . Thankfully the car was inexpensive (when they changed the oil they didn't put a plug all the way back in) and didn't happen to us as we were driving it.
Then poor Abi had been contrary all day Sunday and we figured out that she had a bit of Clare's lurgy so she and I stayed home yesterday. She is still home sick but I left her with grandparents as I had to at least pretend to work today.
So ends my tales of woe thanks for sticking with me!!
It sounds like a lot to handle at once. Glad the car repair was inexpensive. :wizard: for Abi to feel better and for moving. Hopefully it all works out.

Looks good. LeCellier takes a while to eat. You may be pushing that for Illuminations. We love 'Ohana in December. Stitch was hilarious. We're definitely going again.
That's what I was worried about maybe I can move Coral Reef up as Le Cellier was not having very many times when I was making ADR's. :)

That's what I thought - so you can still keep them on your shopping list, if you don't mind.

Paul is in bed, sick, so send lots of pixie dust... it takes a lot to get him down!
:wizard: Hope he feels better soon. :wizard:

I wouldn't ever go on wifeswap if I were you, the other wife might never leave. :rotfl: Seriously, he sounds like one he** of a guy. :wizard: for Matt's play to go well and for Paul.

Yes, you did! Break a leg, Matt. BTW, here's my 3 Little Pigs when they were just over one year old. They HATED the hoods, but they were so cute!

We're wearing Kristin's shirts for our trip. Me-Daisy, BK-Minnie, John- Goofy, Rees- Donald, Davis-Mickey. I think they'll look great together!
Those are the cutest.

Oh my gosh! Does this mean I might actually be able to meet up with a fellow DDA'er? That would be too cool!!!!! You'll have to let me know your plans and we'll see what we can work out! I'm sorry that it looks like WDW is off, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that it works out for you to go, but I would LOVE to meet you and your family!

Have you found out the gender of your baby, yet? I'm dying to know if Queen Kate is 2 for 2 on the baby guessing.

Yup!! If I don't get to go to WDW I am coming to Utah....figure we can find somewhere to camp and explore another state. Plus I want to go to a Shakespeare Festival performance. I've been to one in MT, CO, and Stratford upon Avon. Maybe that should be my goal. Find one Shakespeare performance in every state!!

Okay, since everyone has been so good at offering dining advice today, now I need help!!

I have one or two dinner spots that I can fill. I was hoping to try 'Ohana and/or Whispering Canyon this year. However, I was starting to lament not having Chef Mickey's worked in there somewhere. What order would you put these three?

My other plans include, but are subject to change: LeCellier, Norway Breakfast, Crystal Palace (breakfast and/or dinner), Boma (finally, I hope!), Hollywood & Vine (if they start a new breakfast), LTT, 50's Prime Time. Any thoughts here also recommended.

I am leaning toward dinner over lunch. Dinner has the prime rib while lunch has turkey and ham at the carving station. The breakfast is good too, but pretty much the same as other breakfast buffets. Dinner is similar to CM with a few different speciatly entrees. Plus, I love the Irish Creme bread pudding!
Breakfast has a breakfast lasanga that is out of this world. I originally thought it was perhaps eggs with meat and cheese or something but it was pancakes with fruit and custard and glazed bananas. YUMMY!!! But dinner is great too.

Tammy-you know I wasn't thinking that in Aug I had Joe with 3 adults and both times in Oct we had 2 or 3 kids. I'm sure that has something to do with taking longer but the crowds were also much larger in Oct so we had to wait longer to get in, wait in longer buffet lines and wait longer for characters. I think September will be less busy than Oct.
