Sorry for the delay in getting this posted. Have been running around trying to get things done for Molly's birthday party on Saturday.

Here is the recipe for the Mashed Potato Easter Eggs. ENJOY!

Filling

1/4 lb Butter
1/2 cup Mashed Potatoes
2 lbs Confectioners Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup coconut
1/4 cup peanut butter

Peel, then boil potatoes in salted water until soft.
Drain and mash potatoes
Measure 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes.
Blend butter with potatoes and let mixture stand until cold.
Add sugar and vanilla to potato butter mixture and blend until creamy.
To make peanut butter or coconut eggs, just add to mixture and mix well.
Shape into eggs and chill for 1 hour, then dip in chocolate coating. See below

Chocolate Coating

1/2 lb bitter chocolate (we use Baker’s chocolate)
1 Tbsp paraffin wax

Melt bitter chocolate in top of double boiler over hot water.
Stir paraffin into chocolate, mix till melted together.
Dip candy eggs into the chocolate.
Harden on wax paper.
Thank you. I hope we have time to try this this year.

Approx. how many will this recipe make?

Ok, I'm emailing Concierge to change our dinner. Is CP better for b'fast, lunch, or dinner?
We did bfast at CP. Actually it was Nicholas' bday bfast. I'd recommend it. They only complaint I have is that the lines for the buffet were really long. But the food and character interaction was good.

Tammi -

The DIS has these dates listed for MNSSHP

The dates for 2006 are: September 29, October 2, 5, 6, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 31
I know, that's why I'm worrying. I need October 19, 20 or 21. :guilty:

It definitely help! Thanks. We lived in CA for about 10 months before I met ANYONE. However, when we joined two playgroups when Terra was 4mo and I made great friends. Unfortunately, that magic didn't strike twice with the playgroups in MA. Then work just made the situation worse. It would definitely be nice to have my mom or sisters available to watch Terra for a little while. I haven't been anywhere on my own outside of work since I got Phil to watch Terra while I went so see Fever Pitch (was that the Red Sox/Jimmy Fallon movie) over a year ago. I also really like the idea that all I would have to do is go pick up my niece and nephew and Terra would have friends to go to the zoo/park/wherever with. I think that is definitely our main leaning on the issue...now just to work out the job issue.

Tia,

I will keep your family in my prayers through this time. It's so scary to pick up and move again! I'm sure that with the power of the DDA behind you, you will find a great job in an area you love.

I know what you mean about not meeting people. It's very difficult for me to get out of my comfort zone to meet new people. It took me about 6 months of living here before I made any friends at all. It can be scary, but friendly people are out there. Not to mention that by the look of Clare's map, there are DDA friends all over the country. You should be able to find one of us wherever you move!

Hey Kristine - Have you unbanded your shirt yet? How did it come out? Post pictures please.

Yeah, I just got an email from my travel agent & she got all my ADR's for me. I got LTT on the 2cd for 4:20 pm, it's months away but I am excited :Pinkbounc

I got LTT for 9/29 at 4:20pm! That's the latest available now. I may leave it where it is, so we're done for the party by 6pm!

Haven't had time to read the rest. on our way out to "play" since it is Spring Break. I'll be back later. Wanted to say good morning to all my DDA friends and wish Jennifer good luck on the interview today!

I'm glad I picked MM for our FDP instead of H&V. Any other no-no's? I've got:

CM, CP, CRT, Donald's b'fast, 1900 Park Fare b'fast, WCC, MM for FDP, 'Ohana b'fast. May change our CP dinner to LTT and then add CP somewhere else. Yes, I have more TS than I do credits, but we prefer TS vs CS. We'll just pay for some OOP. It's nice to have a sit down break, and it'll be even more important in the heat of Sept!

We really don't care for the food at Donald's, but I know you have a big Doanld fan at your house so that one may be tough to eliminate. I agree about going to LTT for dinner instead of CP- CP has a great breakfast! We will be trying LTT dinner for the first time at MVMCP.

Kate, once again, you've outdone yourself. That is truly AWESOME! It isn't just that you have mastered the program but the creativity it took in thinking up the change of dress. I absolutely love that. Heather, you are one lucky lady!

Chris is sure that he can eat an entire kitchen sink by himself in less than an hour. That is a challenge that they have there. If one person eats the whole thing by themselves in less than an hour it is free. He has made that he personal mission, so guess what we'll be doing next trip :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Sure hope you aren't planning to ride any rollercoasters afterwards! :lmao:

I just spent about a half hour on the phone with a very nice CM, Karen, from DVC member services. She was very helpful in explaining everything to me. My head was reeling trying to understand all these rules....holding, waitlisting, etc etc. Anyway I cancelled my ressie at SSR in October and booked a 1 br at BWV!!!! :Pinkbounc I am not thrilled about doubling the amt of points I will use, so I am doing a day by day waitlist for the studio. I have the 20th, so I still need the 18th, 19th and 21st. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.

Also, I purchased my AP for our May trip!

Yes that is a good time! Last year we arrived at the park at 4pm & got right in. Our seatings for LTT were at 4:30pm & we were seated within minutes. I noticed it got busier as we were there & I am sure seating times were a little bit more of a wait. I think the earlier seatings are best, you get out & can enjoy the park before the actual party starts. We had a late night snack as the park was closing at Caseys. It was nice to wind down & watch everyone leave the park. I think we were about the last ones to leave lol You will love it & so will your children!
