Does anyone have any good secrets for getting markers off of skin??? Nicholas and Alyssa decided to color their palms, as well as the inside of their fingers today, with what is supposed to be washable markers. Needless to say, it isn't coming off.

I thought hairspray. No clue if it works though. Good luck!

im here. I need to be packing for our weekend trip. instead I 'm here dising.
I'm one of the team capatins for the march of dimes at my hospital. We had a breakfast this morning to raise money. We got $565.00 in donations.

I'm so happy!!!! We might be going next month to WDW!

It depends on if this big job we're in the middle of pays us in time to do it. I'm so excited! I haven't been in two years and my DS2 hasn't ever been (unless you count when I was expecting him). My DS3 doesn't remember much from the two times he's been at 9 months and abt. 18 months. My DD10 has been about 10 times ....

Our plan stands like this for the moment:

Drive down (13-14 hours depending on stops) and stay offsite for two nights to recover from the drive, relax, and do DTD. Then we check into the Cabins at FTW for 7 nights. Oh the planning I have to do! And I loooooooove the planning.

So guess what I have to start doing now!? Making shirt designs!!

So, anyone have any suggestions or tips for us?

I'm so thrilled. Gosh I hope they pay us on time or it'll be September before we can make it.

How exciting! Even if it's september, it will be such an awesome trip since it's been a while and your DS has never been (and is at such a fun age I would imagine!). Keeping my fingers crossed for you, though, that you can get paid in time to go so SOON!

Maybe try a little nail polish remover. I'd try a very small spot before doing it all, though.

Do you have a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? I might give it a shot before I tried finger nail polish remover on their skin inlarge doses!

We are heading to Charlotte tomorrow to pick DS up at the airport (a two hour trip each way), I should be getting the girls ready but alas I too am dising!

I am heading to Orlando next week to hang out with my girlfriend. I am now counting the days! I can't wait for a little R&R. I am ready for some time off for MOM!!

Jen, Have you started house hunting anymore? I remember when Jim was job hunting in Cincy, we started looking at house well I did. I loved how much Loveland had grown. He was considering a job North of the city on 71 and that would have been a good location for us. You need to be much closer to the city for your jobs!

My brother lives in near the Precinct and loves that area, very cool for young couples!!! A very up and coming area! But I cannot remember what it is called.

I am having a very proud mom moment. Kyle is in Cub scouts and tonight was the pine-wood derby. Out of over 60 kids Kyle won !!!
I am SO excited for him, and he was SO excited that he was shaking!!! This means SO much to him, he has such a hard time fitting into things because of his disability!!! In the final round all of the cub scouts in his den were chanting "Kyle -Kyle- Kyle" he was SO excited and proud of himself!!! I could not be any prouder!!! He is still walking around on !!!!

So, Kyle and I were putting in vacation requests for his weeks that he has during his first year. I know we are planning on going to January for the marathon weekend, which we thought would be our vacation. He has to take his weeks during Medicine months though (not Peds months), so that won't work. (Don't worry, still requsted the weekend off to go.... it just won't be one of our vacation weeks).

So then I said, "well, if you tell me when you're off I'll be GLAD to plan vacations for us , but I don't really have any other specific requests".

His response? "Well, it seems we should split the time up a bit and take the first half during my first medicine block (July - October) and the other half during my second block (March - June). Which months out of those blocks are better at Disney World, you should know that without even looking"





So much for "I can do WDW yearly, or every calendar year (but maybe 18 months apart), but I don't really see myself wanting to go more often than that".

First joining the boards, then wanting to DVC as soon as it financially makes sense (and not a moment later, "because the prices just go up, you know Jen" ) , to vacationing there any time we have weeks off .... he might be as addicted as we are

This brought tears to my eyes... I'm so happy for you and Kyle. It always makes me happy when I see other people "get it" I love Disney so much. It was so wonderful when my son-in-law loved it too. Addiction is good.

I am exhausted!! 2 days at the waterpark really take it out of you! Bill fell out of the innertube in 2 feet of water...I still haven't stopped laughing about it. He can't swim..so water makes him nervous. I need a really big pair of waterwings for him!! Did I miss anything?
