Just bought our air tickets for Sept! Yahoo!

I've said it before and I'll say it again- buying the airfare always makes it so official!!!!!!! Congrats on deciding which dates!

Yes, Sept it is! Got AirTran for $79 each way direct flight and I had a $100 coupon for AirTran, so total was $785 for 5 people.

Becky & I just drove into town (10+ miles) so she could go to the library & we could do the grocery shopping. She is 17 (will be 18 in July) and still doesn't have her license. She wasn't interested so I didn't push her. However, she has started track this year and has practice every night. I've told her that it is time. So she is doing the driving. She wasn't mature enough before but has really grown up and improved.

Remind me that I should never let Chuck help with the grocery list without checking it out afterwards. We are having homemade pizza tonight. He was supposed to look up the recipe and write down the ingredients we needed to buy. Well, I got home and guess what we don't have - mushrooms. Pizza isn't pizza to me without mushrooms. My favorite is sausage & double mushrooms. I should have looked at the recipe myself.

So ... off to town I go. Talk to you all again later.

Thanks, Jennifer. I am fortunate in a way because weekends are easy for me to stick with the diet. Weekdays, my hours make it very hard to eat when I am supposed to. I understand what you are saying... That leads to cravings occasionally, and occasionally I give in! So, for that reason, I am more than satisfied with the weight loss!

Was it the blue bunny sorbet from wallyworld, DH was leaving there on Friday as his bank is there and called to say he would meet me at my mom for dinner, so I said if he was coming home he could have got it, he parked and went back and got the sorbet and came home............then we went to mom.
It is good, I never made the float but will try that later.

Yep - the only place that carries it is Walmart. We liked it so much that Paul is out now buying some more. The way to enjoy the float is to let the sherbet melt a bit - it becomes like a "slushy". It was really good!!!

DH and I have been planning many vacations that we are putting together for the next 9 months and we are discussing the Christmas trip a lot. We have had such great luck renting DVC points in the past (and are doing it again for the October trip) that we are kicking around the idea of doing it yet again for Christmas. We also like the option of having Christmas dinner in our room since nothing we have ever done at WDW has ever felt "right" to us.

OKW is a location we have never tried so we started looking at the accommodations there and like the fact that they are bigger than the other DVC resorts and they have a full-sized dining table. Then I looked at the size of a 1BR villa... it is 1016 square feet. The cottage on our honeymoon was #1016, our first apartment was at 1016 William Street, our room number on our trip to Acapulco was 1016 and I am now posting on page 1016 of the DDA thread. doo doo doo doo

Looks like I need to post a request for points on the DVC Rent board in the near future

I wouldn't mind helping to sew something, but I'm terrible at coming up with ideas. I used to make halloween costumes for my kids when they were little, from patterns though, not from my imagination...

Let me know if you want me to help out, I don't have any little ones to sew for anymore, so I actually would enjoy it.

Payless had sage late last summer. I bought a pair but returned them because I didn't have anything to match. They might come out with more colors in a few months. The sage was really pretty.

The payless shoes are $13.99 - I can go buy you a pair and mail them to you - and you would pay WAY less than the price you are looking at!!

Funny our payless is 14.99, you would think they would all be the same.

as much as I hate to have to leave this posting party I need to go and wind down in front of the tv before bed. I'm planning on going back to work tomorrow but all this sleeping in the day time has thrown my body clock right off!

My lungs are still hurting so I'm not sure I'll make it past lunch time in the office but I hate phoning in sick so much, and I'm really missing being at work (mad I know but I love my job!)
