I am still in Richmond, sitting in Kathrin's living room. I hope none of you was traveling on I-95 last night! It was a solid stream of headlights headed north, at about 10 mph. I was very thankful to be headed south at 5:00. The girls and I caught a quick bite to eat and I dropped Kristin off for her rehearsal. Kathrin and I tried a new wine and watched FoodNetwork for a couple of hours and chatted. Well... she watched the FoodNetwork. I kept falling asleep! :rotfl: I will have a cup of coffee with her in a bit and then head on up the road. I anticipate very little traffic this morning! :thumbsup2 See you all later on this morning. :goodvibes

Hope you enjoyed your cuppa with Kathrin and had a safe journey home.

Good morning!

Debbie,
Yummy Mickey treats.

Deb,
Great job with the pin display!!!

Have a great day DDA!

Morning Anne Marie, well now it's afternoon. I'm dittoing you on your comment to Deb.:thumbsup2

And I wake up to more cool sigs! They are all so wonderful!

Here's some PD and prayers to all of those who have lost loved ones, missing loved ones, have loved ones who are sick or just need a pick me up for going back to work. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

The support from this thread has been amazing the past year and I'm deeply grateful and hope that I've been able to give some of that back to y'all.

Very busy week at work -- I've got a lot to get out the door this week.

Have a good day, DDA!

Here's for a stress free albeit busy week:wizard:

Now that looks like an authentic Jen signature :thumbsup2

My MIL never came to Colby's baptism. She did make it to the other 2 boys though.

I forgot to mention that she told me on Thansgiving that she had some hand me down pants from someone that they know whose wife had recently walked on on him:confused3 She was afraid that they would be too small as they were a size 12 :scared1: Ummmm I've been a size 8 for well over a year lady. Way to go MIL in the bring someone down category

Tom you look wonderful. Don't listen to your MIL, trust me they have NO idea what they are talking about EVER :rotfl:

My MIL went to the wrong church for Emma's, and my FIL wouldn't take off work.

Deb,

Not sure if anyone told you..

10% off code "THANKS"

My mom got the Mickey Moniter for AP holders. Of course we didn't :( She said that there is a discount code for Disneyshopping, but couldn't figure out where the actual code was. Since the disney site is down could anyone tell me the code? I want to see if it is stackable with the current promos.

Thanks

Deb, that "True Meaning of Christmas" link was beautiful!

Ditto again!

Good morning. :)

Very busy here, so this is just a fly-by post. Have a great day, everyone!

You too!

In Santa Clause 2 she said they were constantly fighting and the only time they didn't fight was the day they told her there was no Santa Claus...at least that's the way I remember it.

Thanks for clearing that up!
I bought a deck for DS at Target from the $1 spot last year.

Love the snow globe, Debbie!:goodvibes

Janet - You are getting some awesome deals this morning!:thumbsup2

Robyn - I was looking at the pic of Joe to see if I think I know him, but then I started to wonder if it was a different Joe!:rotfl2: I don't think I know him, but we might have been at the same events at some point.:confused3 I am glad he gets to be a godfather.:goodvibes

Yep, that's the Joe! He was mesmerized by her this time around. He spent a couple of nights here and wouldn't put her down.

anyone around?! im bored :)

I'm here. Molly and the boys are down for a nap. I am waiting for Eric to call back, he is making an appointment for Lucy to get her ears rechecked. She had a screaming fit again, just like last Sunday night, and I don't want to wait another week til her followup appointment.

Jen just called and he Grandfather passed away at 7 AM. She sounds ok and said her family is doing ok, keeping busy. She was working on a photo tribute to him. She is still at the shore, but hopes to log on soon and update us all.
:grouphug:

Janet - where did you order your luggage? I'm thinking of getting Nicholas a new piece, as the one he has is babyish and not very big.

Yeah, yeah I know, no whining allowed. ;)

I had an eye doctor appointment today and he dilated my pupils. For some reason it seems worst today then in past times. :(

I HATE that. You have a free pass for whining today, Heidi. I know how miserable it is. :grouphug:

Deb-thank you so much for posting all the updates. It was nice talking to you and Chris yesterday though.

Grandpa passed very peacefully. My mom actuallyc alled my dad around 6:50 and told him notto rush down because grandpa was the same. I took a shower and came in around 6:45...Mom and i were just chatting next to the bed when werealized his breathing was a bit different. So we held his hands, told him how much we loved him, and talked about funny stories /memories. Right around 7am, he passed away. We sat withhim for a few minutes, then called the nurses is. They confirmed that he had passed and then we called my grandma, uncle, dad, and brother.

I am so glad that i got tobe there with him ,but i am having such a hard time today. I am trying to be strong for the family and when i talk to people on the phone ,but right now, i just cant help it . I just sorted through pictures for thep hoto collage and that was so hard. I know that he is better off right now-no suffering! I just cant believe my grandfather is gone.

My mom, grandma, and uncle are at the funeral home right now making arrangements..were thinking its eithergoing to be Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday. Work is letting me take off whatever time i need, so i am thankful for that.

T\he women we dealt with in hospice were absolutely wonderful. They hugged andh eld us when they came in and saw he had died. One nurse sat with me when i couldnt sleep last night. They were amazing women.

Thank you so much for being there for me guys

Oh Jen. I'm so glad he went peacefully.:grouphug: I'm glad hospice was a good experience. They were my rock. They allowed me to fall apart because they had it all together. A real help.

Be kind to yourself. I'm sending all my love.  :grouphug:

Steffy-thank you! :goodvibes you were definitley right about the women in hospice-absolutely amazing!

Tammi - If you just want one piece you might see if Dillard's has any of the Delsey luggage left. They had royal blue, red, and "cayenne" which was kind of rust colored. It was 75% off. They had the 21", 25" and 29".

Wow. Lots of my friends need pixie dust today! My one friend had that abscess on her leg, and she thinks it is coming back. She has to go to the Dr. on Wednesday to find out if she will need surgery. She was calling to ask me to watch her little charge but I have an appt. on Wed at the same time as her appt. so I can't help.:guilty:
Another friend is in ICU due to complications from lap band surgery. Her bosses are on vacation and don't know she's in the hospital. I just called ExMomboss to see if she can contact my friend's boss - they are best friends.
ExMomboss is out of her office today with a bacterial infection - she sounds awful.
Another former Momboss of mine is stalking my friends. Apparently she is looking for a new nanny.:scared: NOT good. My friends do NOT want to get tangled up in that, so let's hope they can all successfully avoid her.:scared1:

Thanks Tammi. :)

They felt really dry too, so I added some allergy drops and that has helped a little, but they are still blurry.

I HATE that. You have a free pass for whining today, Heidi. I know how miserable it is. :grouphug:

Stephanie, good to see you posting. I was just thinking about you.
Are you ready for your trip?
