I think doing Christmas eve at the rec center is a great idea!!! Good luck trying to get everyone to agree with something regarding the gifts. If you figure out how to please everyone, would you let me know? I'm pulling my hair out with Alan's family!

DH was just watching the instructional DVD for the camera. There is some guy that tells all the features. DH says "I wonder who this guy is? He is smart!" Um, it's an INSTRUCTIONAL video! Not some random guy on You Tube!

I called to see if Mother has made it home yet. Nope. Because they didn't leave until 11 AM! They won't get home for another 2 hours. My sister did say the weather isn't bad, though. It is warmer there than it was here.

It's definitely a fave!So much for her trying to be serious!! I so wish I would have had someone video the service, when the Pastor took her she starting grunting really loudly! It was hilarious.

Anybody watch The Santa Clause 3? We are watching it now and I am confused. In #2 weren't Mrs. Claus' parents divorced? I thought I remember her saying how sad she was about it. But in #3 her parents come to visit the North Pole.

Evening all...

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I am envying everyone that is decorated for Christmas. I would love to have it done by next Friday but I seriously don't see it happening. Maybe by Sunday. All of our outside lights are up so that's a start.

This morning was Lucy's dedication. It went very well and she did fantastic, except for the spit up all over her gown. Here are a few pics...

During my black friday shopping spree I bought one of the HD DVD Up Converters. You can play High Def dvd or regular dvds and the machine somehow makes the regular dvds High Def, bringing them up to 1080p. I have no idea how it works and until Thursdays adds didn't even know that there were such things, but it is amazing how much clearer and brighter the old dvds look. We are watching Finding Nemo now and the difference is obvious. If you have a HDTV it is definitely worth while to get one of these gadgets

everyone! The Christmas tree is up, lights are on the house, but totes are scattered everywhere! And they are still full. I'm not in the mood anymore to put up decorations - but mom is here in 6 days. Guess I have too...

Everyone ready to go back to work tomorrow? Me neither.

tree is up and lit...2 wreaths are up and stopping for supper now. (of course I didn't do any of it ) Have to decide if any of my stockings are going up and if so how and where???


and I am so not ready for work again tomorrow.

I just placed an order with Garden Grocer. No worries about soda exploding on the airplane lol

You don't have to be there, they will leave your order with Bell Services
and they will bring them to your room when you call. They have a place for your refrigerated items so no worry there. I have used them three times, and this time was the first time we had a small problem, two of our items were not delivered, I called them and they brought them the following day. I would suggest that you bring a copy of yor order with you so that you will have their phone number and your order number if you need it.

I have absolutely no motivation left. Mom wore me out as always! She is a dynamo. We shopped on Friday for about 4 hours to get her Christmas shopping done. I did paperwork Friday morning and Saturday most of the day. My upstairs is organized (now it just needs to be cleaned ). Mom and I made cookies Saturday & today. We made Chocolate Chippers, Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodles, Date Rolls, and Molasses. These are to send to my brother and sister for Christmas. Mom misunderstood me and made a quadruple batch of molasses. We ended up with 300 cookies. I was going back and forth about a double or triple batch as it was because one batch is so large. It was a productive week-end but now my body is exhausted but my mind is racing.

We are progressing nicely on the house, but taking a lunch break now. Alyssa and I cleaned up some of her room and have a great big trash bag of stuff to throw away. She has a whole bin of stuffed animals that needs to be sorted. Anyone know of any place to donate them too? Then we took several large Little Tykes items (kitchen, basketball hoop, ride on cars) to the basement and cleared out the playroom. After lunch we will work on our Disney tree.

I don't know if I'm too late, but I know that our local police departments love to have stuffed animals on hand. They use them when they have to rescue children from domestic disputes, etc.

Abi received her box from Leslie today!!

She says Thank you!! She loves the goodies and is excited because the scent seems not to make her sneeze.

I will post pics later. Abi loves the ornament and jelly bracelet!!

I was a little concerned about the scent, but figured you'd be able to get rid of it if it was a bother. Glad it arrived safely!
