I'm off to go grocery shopping and Christmas Ornament Exchange shopping. I'm also going to check out the Cricut. I used one during our scrapbooking week-end and I think I'm going to ask for this as my one and only gift for my birthday and Christmas.

I was supposed to be in Grand Rapids this week-end for the project. I feel like I have a free day. I'm going to try to use it for something other than just procrastinating!

When I drove through town today they had all the Christmas wreaths up along the street, and they are starting to string the trees with lights. It really hit me that it is now the season. :goodvibes: I got that warm, fuzzy feeling. Although it did look kinda strange seeing Christmas wreaths on lightposts that still had cornstalks around them. :rotfl:

The kids went to lunch with their dad, so I guess I should make good use of this alone time. Have a good afternoon!

I'm thinking the Tink one. ;) Are you going to be able to get it? If not, I could get one for you.

ETA: No, I won't. Sorry. That's not the day that I'm going. Why don't I see a pin for my date?

Which date are you going? Maybe they are doing the same as MNSSHP, one pin for the whole week?

Dec. 11. If I can get it, do you want me to pick it up for you?

Sorry to quote you again, I meant to say thank you for offering!

If anyone is there during the release of the Tink pin, I would be forever grateful if you could get me one :goodvibes

Well my home is looking somewhat clean & laundry is almost done. The boys are looking forward to going over to Gary's mom.

They did really well this week with the paper route, I am proud f them. While we are gone they will walk home as usual, deliver the papers, & then Gary's mom will pick them up. For our Christmas trip they have to find a substitute.

I haven't packed yet, but for 2 nights it won't take me long.

Looks like Stitch & Tink will be offered for your party & any pins still available from previous parties.
I'll be getting the Tink. I can't stand Stitch.

Chris is excited about the "real" game today. The Patriots and the Colts ;)

Okay, I've got your real game :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I know that this seems unrational, but being in his 84 would certainly make understanding easier. I told you last week about my bosses wife. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about 10 years ago. She had the breast removed and underwent Chemo and Radiation which made her terribly ill. The result was 7 years of remission. She thought that she had it conquered then it came back with avengance. When she was diagnosed the second time her doctor told her that she was lucky as it was the exact same strain that she had the first time and since she had fought it once she would be able to do it again. She decided that she would not undergo the chemo and radiation this time as it was so horrible the first time around. She took a holistic approach. The doctors gave her 2 years without medical treatments and she lived 2 1/2. She passed away at 4 AM yesterday morning at the age of 50. She was surrounded by her family. It is so sad to think of someone so young losing their life. Chosing not to aggressively treat the cancer was her choice and whether it was the right choice or not we will never know, but it was her choice in the end.

Deb, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I really hope her family understands her choice. This is also my choice. Powerful chemo is not a walk in the park, and I really understand how I would choose to spend my last days as comfortable as possible and enjoy my family.

The trip that I am making the end of the month... his mother died in my arms at 51. She died with full makeup, her hair done and I had just polished her nails.

We've had that conversation here too. Those darned DINGS keep fueling it. We definitely can't financially swing another trip this year, but we keep dreaming.

DING DING DING.

Chris said that he didn't realize that 4 PM was night :confused3 He wants to know if you're in a different time zone :confused3
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Today is the 45 day mark for Dec. trip :cool1:

I only have to go into work for a couple of hours today to do the order. Right now I am doing laundry & then I will pack the boys clothes. We are taking them to G'mas tonight. They will get spoiled the next few days :goodvibes

Gary told me this morning that maybe we could skip seeing KA & go to see La Noubia while at Disney. So we will see once we are there. Are there any AP discounts for the show at Disney?
I have seen both and enjoyed both. That said, La Noubia was stunning...

Vicki, I love my Cricut. I think they have the best prices at AC Moore. They carry this package that includes the machine, the tools and a couple of cartridges. Wait for the sales for the cartridges!!:dance3:

When I went shopping, they have the decorations out. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.:santa: :santa:
