Heidi - I am glad you are feeling better this morning. I am too!

Stephanie - I wish I could be at Epcot with you on the 30th. Sounds like the perfect day to me. :goodvibes:

Chanon - the roses are beautiful. Hope you can nail down some more things this weekend. :)

Jen - it WAS tough to get out of bed. In fact, I didn't make it out until 8:00. Bob called to see if I was sick! ;)

Marci - another busy weekend for you all. Enjoy yourselves!

Amy - I hope you get some good meds from the doctor so you get to feeling better. Nothing worse than having to chase 2 little ones around when you don't feel well.

Denise - good thoughts winging their way to Atlanta this morning....

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

Morning DDA!

I got a quote on flowers for the wedding yesterday. :scared: Centerpieces at $65 is a NO. But her prices for roses are awesome!! We talk to someone else this Saturday, so we'll see what prices then. If anyone want's to see her work www.rosesforweddings.com and she has just about every floral design she's ever made on this site.
They are all very beautiful Chanon. Good luck making a decision.
Tammi, congrats on the milestone. :cool1:
Thank you.

Elin, glad you are feeling better.

Ok, been putting it off long enough. Off to fold the towels.

Tia- Ovaly made a great snoopy pumpkin for his friend Charlie Brown!!

Deb-I tried those reese's before....blechy!! the only one I like other than tried and true Reese's are the whipped....yummy!!!

Yeah, the first 2 guesses got it! I knew what I made so I wasn't a good judge. The original version had linus and sally in it too, but Sally fell half in the moon, half out and and it didn't work the way I tried to do it. In trying to get her out, Linus lost an arm so the moon just got larger.

That sounds gross. I am not a huge fan of Reese's. I was going to say I think those mint 3 Musketeers are gross, but I see you like them!:rotfl: The mint has a funky texture - I was expecting it to be like a York peppermint patty and it isn't.

I'm with you, I was excited for the mint ones until I tried it. I think I'd rather have the York. The texture just didn't work for me.

I just want to add a quick "Thank the Lord!" that it is 8:00 and Terra is still asleep. In the last week she has gotten up between 6 and 6:30 several times. Not a good thing when going to bed at 10 and not a good mood come about 3. Yeah for sleep!!

I now return you to your regular programming.

Denise - Tons of :wizard: :wizard: coming your way!!

ExMomboss just phoned. She replied to my e-mail BUT she never hit send because her phone started ringing. She thought she sent it. So she went home last night and told the kids we were coming over, ordered a bunch of pizza, and we never showed.:guilty: ExDadboss told her she should call me, DS told me I should call her, huge miscommunication. Now I feel bad because DS AND Brother were both disappointed.:sad2:

Princess's nose is still running like a faucet! It is time for her nap. I hope she can sleep!

Oh no! I'm so sorry you had 2 disappointed boys. I understand though as you don't want to impose, but also don't want to miss out. Tough all around.

Here's the update on Rees as of this morning:

19 November 02, 2007 at 09:14 AM EDT
We are in a room in the pre-op area. We have seen Dr. Wulkan's assistant. Surgery will take 2 hours or so, and they will call us if they have to do it open or find anything else. Rees is doing very well and so far is happy and calm.

 I was just thinking of poor little Rees. He'll be in surgery in an hour. I pray that it goes quickly and smoothly

Chanon have you considered growing your own pumpkins and gourds then just have the florist accent them with roses? I would think that you could have some spectacular centerpieces for a fraction of the cost. If you are not a gardner I bet someone close to you would love to do it for you.

I need to get back to work on our photos.

Is everyone ready to turn the clocks back Saturday?

Heck yeah! It's way to dark when I take Phil to work at 5:30 (well, it will still be dark, but at least I'll see some hint of sun) and when Rachel leaves for the bus at 6:45.

What a great idea, Deb. Although, with the drought this year the farmers have not had a lot of pumpkins and gourds to choose from. Even if you bought your own pumpkins and used them as centerpieces with florist-supplied flowers in them, it would be cheaper. My Mom always had 3 huge perennial gardens and we did our own centerpieces for my reception. The church arrangements, bouquets and boutonnières, as well as the flowers on top of my cake, were from the florist. The rest we did the day before and took no time at all. Friends transported them to the Club in buckets filled with water and they were still gorgeous the next day for the reception.

I did two loads of laundry yesterday and am on my second load this morning. I want to upload my Halloween pictures today too. But first, the grocery store is on my list as I have not been since we got home!

Yes ma'am!! I have written (and published) short stories, poems and children's stories (these haven't been published)but I've always said there is a novel stuck in my head...this really was the inspiration I needed. I work best with a deadline and that is a deadline!!:rotfl:

Good luck, Theresa! Could you send me the website to check it out?

The news on my FIL is worse than we first heard. He has 3 blocked arteries and a bad valve. That has caused his kidney to have problems. They will have to do open heart surgery but can't now because of the kidneys. Chuck is heading over there tonight and the girls and I will head over tomorrow to see him.

I'm so sorry that the news wasn't better, Vicki. Your FIL is in our thoughts and prayers. :grouphug: :wizard:

Theresa, are you hitting on my husband or did you mean to say we had the cutest Cogsworth you've ever seen? :rotfl:

OOOOOPS!!!! I was thinking Cogsworth and typed Lumiere.......nope not hitting on your husband:lmao: :lmao:

LOL, Kevin loves dressing up way more than I do! You have to remember, he's the one who found the original t-shirt thread. :rotfl:

He's the MC at our local costume party after trick-or-treating, so he loves being in character. Of course, the mayor was joking that it was a good thing Kevin didn't run Tuesday night's council meeting in that costume! ;)

I love the costumes! Cogsworth is ADORABLE! I hope you feel better soon!:wizard:

Denise - Rees is in my thoughts - I hope things are going well!

Princess and I are off to the mall to see if we can find some pajamas for her. Her nose isn't running quite as profusely as it was yesterday, so that's good!

Good Morning All!!!

I so agree with you, Tammi!!

Good morning, DDA!

Very cute Halloween pictures all around! Everyone looked wonderful.

Our weather is finally going fall. I was getting spoiled! I think we're heading to the zoo tomorrow because Terra really wants to take Daddy. He has a 3-day weekend this week as they changed his schedule back to Tues-Sat so now is a good time. Hopefully we'll hit the mid-60s forecasted for the day.

Nothing big on the schedule for today. Chase is coming over for a few hours around noon (aka nap time, tough babysitting job, eh) as Kristi is starting to work Mother's Day Out at chuch 2-days a week. Connor will got to Mother's Day Out himself and is very excited about going to "school", so we'll just watch Chase some of the times. We've also got to hit the liberry and run one other errand, though I can't for the life of me remember what it is right now.

Happy Friday everyone!
