Wow what a busy day for you!

We did something today I didn't really want to do...shop!!

I was in such a rush at the PO this morning/afternoon that I left the notes out of the girls exchange boxes

Kaelyn....yours is from Abi

and Olivia your box has lots in it...the blue bag is your big sister present...please share Virginia's outfit with her and the other stuff is from Cassidy.


Jim and I went out at 9 to Hallmark to pick up Chanon's ornament and the store didn't open until 10 so we went over to Home Depot and got a new toilet lever and covered garbage can because the coons keep getting into it. We found an awesome bell wreath for our front door for $15 then we decided to see if St. Nick's had the ornament for Channon...they didn't but we got the yearly one for our girls. Then it was time to go back to Hallmark...picked up the ornaments and over to Peir One to use a GC to pick up Cassidy's director chair.

Phew....back home to pick up the goodies for the boxes. Stand in line at the PO for half hour!!

Went to use a 50% coupon at Michael's....got a new glue gun and the supplies for the girls friends presents and to help me finish off Cassidy's pillow for Christmas all for the original price of the gun.
Then to the mall to get Abi's ears pierced (part of her Christmas present) then over to JcPenney's: got Abi a hoodie and a pair of shoes and Cassidy a pair of velour sweat pants and cropped sweats all for $38

Then to Target for food....dang that was expensive. I forgot to tell you Elizabeth that if you go to Target's website you can download coupons for the store. I got broccoli for 99 cents, Tostitos $1 off and the celery free because of the exclusive coupons.

About 1/2 hour before Target I started in on one of my head attacks...I was miserable...I wish I could be done with these.

I just went outside to a wonderfully clear and very cold night. I did not see any meteors, but I didn't stay out there long either as it was too cold.

I need to get things done around here tomorrow as we have the boys birthday party here on Wednesday night. I think it's time to put the boys to bed and get there myself. Colby is trying to get every last minute out of his birthday

I meant to tell you guys that I went to Kmart tonight in hopes of using another 20% off coupon to get another controller for the game. Kmart now has a sign posted at the register that states that there was an error in the add with the 20% off coupons and they cannot be used for electronics. I guess my initial purchase was just meant to be.

wow...i even hate calling my friends this time of night with their own cell phones..i think at that age, my father would havemade sure i never used the phone again if he knew i was making calls!

my mom instilled in me that it was rude to call somebody after 9 and no phone call would be answered after then either. Jim's family obviously didn't have that

Cassidy is so funny she has a friend who calls her constantly (quite often late into the night) and she once asked the phone while it was ringing "Why are you calling now? You know I am in bed by now"

Janet it might be time to call the girl's # back and ask for her parents.

Did you ask Riley about this girl? Who is she and WHY is she calling him? If he doesn't know or isn't interested in her I don't think I would worry about being polite to her! Actually, I wouldn't worry about being polite to her anyway! Do you have Caller ID? Maybe you should call back tomorrow morning and tell her parents they need to speak to her about her calling habits!

I forgot to tell you all that Cassidy was so excited yesterday she had to call me at work...why you ask?? Because we will be hosting a Takiyama, Japan student the week after Thanksgiving.

Back at the beginning of the year we were told the kids from Takiyima would be coming to perform with LHS in the Downtown Denver Parade of Lights. Cassidy begged to host a student...I said as long as we were in our own place..sure.

She is so excited!! and it sounds like we will probably the kid for 4 hours a day to entertain/corrupt .

I just have to figure out what to feed a Japanese student.

If she calls again this late, I will be calling her parents. Riley knows who she is & rolled his eyes. I think that means he is not interested lol(I hope so anyway, he is to young!) I do have her phone number.

See below...

3 things: 5/16 make sure your dinner at CMs is early. You don't want to be stuck outside waiting in line to go to the party because the lines for things INSIDE the party build very, very quickly. Whenever we do a party at MK we eat inside the park and make sure we are finished by 6:30 PM.
This is one of my toughies. I may end up changing it to Crystal Palace and not messing with getting into the park.

5/17 - It is a BIG pain in the tushy to get to Whispering Canyon from Epcot and back again. Unless you are staying at WL and eating dinner after your midday break it really doesn't seem worth it. Trust me, going on the Disney bus between WL & Epcot is SLOW and painful.
Thanks for that advice. I am considering staying out of the parks all together until after dinner. Not usually my style, but I'm thinking that Phil may need a much slower day by mid-trip. We would do Whispering Canyon and then go to Epcot for the rest of the evening - a.k.a. just for Illuminations and whatever else. Hmmmm...thinking now that maybe I'll have to rearrange that. Not liking that short of a day or the Epcot to WL to Epcot.

5/19 - Again, do NOT cut it close with travel time to get to MK for Spectro. If they are running P&PP other nights then Spectro will be PACKED. We learned that the hard way. We ate at Concourse Steakhouse and got to MK about an hour before the parade. Main St. was nose-to-tail.
Looks like there is only the one P&PP our whole trip. The last half of the stay has Spectro/Wishes every night. If we do hop to MK, then the meal will definitely be lunch.
