You are all the biggest bunch of enablers I have never met!!!

I also want to say - I think CROCS are just too ugly and have resisted - plus they didn't seem that comfy to me -

was curious about the sandals but hate things between my toes

Then you have to go and post the Nile - I am going to have to get those for our may trip -

I found this site that has 20% off CROCS

http://www.islandtrends.com/

guess I need to try them on first!!
I was reading a thread on the TP&S page and people were saying that they are more snug around the foot than the would like.

I am listening to Wishes on Live 365. I can't wait to get back there!!!

Congratulations on the weight loss!

But funny you should post about Crocs - when I went to grab something to eat, I stopped in at Dicks Sporting Goods to try on the Athens (flip flops) and the colors were: all black, white with tourquise or white with orange. I bought the all black ---- they are even more comfortable than the Croc shoes that I have!! I found the sizing a little weird; I normally take an 8, but I tried those on and was swimming in them. I tried on the 7, still too big! I tried on the 6 and they fit great! Just something to think of.

Well, I wasn't able to try on the Crocs today. DH got called in to work, so I had to rush home to be with the kids. I'll make a point to do it after bowling tomorrow morning. I really want some for our June trip, so it's a priority.

All is well with the dr. He is proud of the weight loss, and says I'm right on track.

Glynis, that's so awesome! You really need to post pictures! :thumbsup2

I guess I'll have to get over my fear of having my picture taken. I'll post some soon, I promise!

Ok, we are under a winter storm warning today. It has been flurrying (sp?) all day with nothing and I just looked out my window and my grass is now completely covered in snow :(

It was 70 degrees last Saturday- what is going on!!!!!!!!!

Thankfully it seems to have died down...at least out by O'Hare. They were talking 6 inches at one point.

OK I know I am quoting myself, but I wanted to double check those prices on UAL's site and it is now up to $348 and we got $262  Finally, I did something right!!

Are you on a direct flight? I am probably going to book on AA. Can't seem to get the times I want any where else.

I was just looking at Marti's link, and I realized the style I just bought was the Nile. I bought them at Dilliards this past Friday for $29, since I didn't have time to wait for them to be shipped. They had just gotten them in and from what I remember, they had them in navy and black.

hey amy, could you do me a favor and take a picture of kilaminjaro safari vehicle for me. the place where the people in wheelchairs ride. that would be awsome. thanks

From what I remember, not all the vehicles are wheelchair accessible, but I will try to take a picture for you. Hopefully if I tell Kevin, between the two of us, we'll remember. :teeth:

Oh, and am I still supposed to look for Mickey graduation ears too?

Amy :)

I know that LovesPoohBear would appreciate it if you found them. I looked everywhere for her while I was there and did ask a CM. The CM told me they aren't usually put out until May. I still looked because I know sometimes the CM's don't always have the correct answer. Not putting them down - I'm sure there is a lot to know and you can't always know everything. It is amazing how wonderful they are and how much they do know.

I was a little disappointed in the bus drivers this year for the Disney transport between the parks & resort. They didn't have the same level of energy or fun. Some were just downright bad! However, it was Disney so we just laughed it off. Hopefully, it will be better next year though.

I'll look for them! And I know exactly what you mean about some CMs not always knowing the right answer. We had read that Jiminy Cricket appears on Earth Day at the Magic Kingdom, and several years ago, we were fortunate enough to be there on that day. So, I asked the first CM I saw on Main Street USA (he was a character handler) and he told me that Jiminy never appears. Of course, we walked right into Guest Services and had them call the character hotline...Jiminy was posing right that very minute in the garden area near the castle. :teeth:

And Vicki, I just read your response about your autograph book pages. I hope you learned your lesson! :goodvibes Disney is for everyone and you are a paying customer! Asking a character for an autograph is not going to take time away from the kids. We were just like you initially...booking character meals and not waiting in too many lines. But, then we turned character crazy, and we wait in more lines for characters than we do attractions. :teeth: Now that we have Alyssa, we have a good "excuse" and luckily, she loves the characters! I truly believe the characters enjoy their interaction with the adults as much as the kids (well, except poor Ariel and Jasmine when she's wearing her skimpy outfit, because some men act ridiculous! ).

Amy :)

Glynis!!! Wow!!! 75 lbs. wtg!! you the woman!!!
I can't wait to see pictures...but I do understand the fear of getting pic's taken...so much easier to be behind the camera than in front of it!!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'll go for it next time. The stupid thing is I did stand in the lines for Becky. I just couldn't bring myself to pull out my own autograph pages and to get my pictures taken. I just let her get hers signed and her picture.

I got outside my comfort zone with my Pal Mickey this year. My kids and DH think I'm nuts. He went with me everywhere and I posed him for pictures. It was lots of fun. I can't wait to make matching t's for myself & Pal Mickey for our December trip. I'll also take my autograph pages and get more pictures of us with characters. I might say it is Pal Mickey's autograph pages. ;)

If you want to see pictures of me & Pal Mickey, you can click on this link. The character pictures were taken at the Character Connection.
