YEAH!!! Congratulations, Omi!! What wonderful news.

Amy, I vote for not being able to tell. pixiedust:

My SIL wanted to know and I kept telling her she was 'having a baby' the day before they went I was talking to DB and said why do you want to know, it is so much more fun and such a surprise when they come, you get to choose names for both etc etc, he went home and told SIL he didn't want to know and they never found out, no she doesn't want to know this time either she said it was fun wondering and not knowing.

I just hope for healthy happy babies and families for all!!! :goodvibes

Actually just reading one issue of people magazine is all it took - the Kristy Swanson - Lloyd Eisler affair has been pretty big news -

they showed Geoff Stults in the audience of DWTS last night and I watch 7th Heaven so I knew who he was -

now on the whole Zach Efron thing - I actually had to go look up the spelling of his name - as you might notice in my posts I always spell is Zach - but Amy has always spelled it Zac - seems to me if she were basing her knowledge of him on me - she would have been spelling it incorrectly just like me - he actually has no H on his name - but yet she has always known the correct spelling of his name - why would that be?!?! Seems if I were TRULY obsessed - I would have known how to spell his name - in addition - if I had made myself a folder I would have NEVER EVER EVER EVER included any picture of him taken under the age of 18 - cause that's just EWWWWW!!!!!!!

The more you vehemently defend yourself, the more guilty you look! :teeth:

And I have a cousin named Zac...that's how he spells it, so that's how I'm used to spelling it. But since you're being a stickler about spelling, I noticed you spelled his last name Efron and I typed Ephron (like Nora) in my last post. Interesting. :lmao:

Amy :)

Congratulations to the soon-to-be-Grandmas! :goodvibes

And thank you for all the good wishes for our ultrasound tomorrow. Of course, a healthy baby is most important to us too, but we are far too curious to wait until July to find out the baby's gender. Plus, if we're having a boy, we need to stock up on blue now, because this is one pink household! :cutie:

Chiming in a bit late here...Good luck with the ultrasound tomorrow! I found out ahead of time with all three of mine. The first I wasn't going to, but the doctor just blurted it out. For the second, I wanted to know if it was another boy or if I had to go get some pink. I wasn't going to find out for the third, but my dd who was 5 at the time HAD to know (and knew that they could tell by ultrasound. We spent too much time watching Baby Story together. :rotfl: ) I hadn't asked at the first ultrasound but when I needed a second, I told dd I'd find out. It helped with the transition for her. I think it's all just personal preference...no right or wrong.

Congratulations to the new grandparents-to-be. What an exciting day! I can't wait to be a Grandma - or Nana as it is in my household. Skunka's household is Oma. Its the best way to tell the difference between which set of parents.

Speaking of Oma - they are coming north this weekend. Oma and Opa are arriving for Matt's birthday. He's beyond excited! His birthday present from his father and I was that he is now allowed to stay up to 8:30.... a million dollars couldn't have been a better present! Oh to be 8 again!

I vote girl but just wish it to be happy and healthy(which I am sure it will be).

More grandma's YEAH!!!

Mine were thrilled when I moved it up to nine....I can't wait to see what she tries and moves it up to next year as a freshman!!

Update on my mom:

The specialist doesn't feel either the MRI or PET scan are needed...they are just going in and doing a biopsy of the liver sometime this week. They wanted the biopsy done so they know what they are dealing with cancer or not.

I have a very strange DD17! She goes to bed at 9 about 1/2 the time. She does go in and read for an hour or so. She has always been one that needed her sleep. There was a time that I could walk in the house and tell whether she had her nap that day. I've never really had to set a bed time for her because she has always went to bed earlier than I would have set! She made up for it during her terrible two's and three's and four's!!!!!!

Tammi, Glynis and everyone else with sickness in their families here's a little more :wizard: :wizard: . I hope all are well before long. My crew went back to school today and they have behaved horribly since they got home. Even the little two can't seem to behave today. This is me now :crazy2: :headache: I'd use the guy that bursts into flames, but I can't get to the rest of the smilies which is appropriate for the day I've had.

Deb

Deb -- hope your crew is down for the night and you get a little peace and quiet = sanity!!

Continued :wizard: for your mom. I hope they are able to find the answers that they need and quickly.

Hey Deb - how has your father been since his accident?? Is his life "back to normal" or as normal as it could be??
