I am going to use one of the pictures from our trip & I have it narrowed down to 3 or 4 photos.

I was going to make a large turkey dinner last Sat. but the store didn't have a big enough fresh one and I didn't have time to thaw a frozen one. I am hoping the store will have a big one this time.

Well I like these 2 but am not sure they are really Christmasy (more like Halloween) but I like their faces in them. Which would you pick?

Theresa I know you are busy, but do you know when you will be starting sign-ups for the Christmas ornaments exchange? Hopefully my nearest Hallmark with get more Disney ornaments in.

Beth-tough situation. I would not bring it up at the PTA meeting tonight...if your PTA is anything like the 4 I've been associated with it's a think tank and doesn't really have any teeth in struggles with the principal. I would attend just to hear the other concerns. I would also ask for a PRIVATE meeting with the principal to talk about the disrespectful way she spoke to you and about you to Miles and in front of everyone in the office. I would tell her you did not appreciate the way she handled the last conversation and you would like her to have all of the papers you have filled out concerning the walk available at this meeting. If you don't get satisfaction in the meeting or don't even get the meeting inform her you will be taking it up the district chain. There is usually a person who is in charge of principals at the district level that is easier to get in touch with then the superintendent. It stopped being just about the walk home when she stated what she did to Miles.....she overstepped her boundaries.

Wow! Are you ahead of the game, or what!!! I'll start addressing envelopes next month, and they'll be all ready to go by Thanksgiving weekend. At least that's the goal!

Good morning, DDA! I haven't had time to read back yet, and I should be in the shower. I did want to finally check in quickly.

Now I have a little school vent, and I'm hoping that you all can tell me if I'm being completely unreasonable and maybe give me a little advice.
I'll be back for a little while this afternoon, and I'll try to catch up then. In the meantime to all that need it. I have thought a lot about all of you even though I haven't been posting.

The one thing that sticks out in my mind is the fact that she kept backpedaling. I myself would bring this up at the PTA meeting. Just to get a feeling on how everyone else would have handled the situation.

The nerve of her to tell him he was not wrong and making you out the bully. Also she should have taken you into her office. She sounds like a real piece of work

I can see her not wanting to discuss this in the future.

Hope you get some good answers.

They are all good pictures and you could put some sort of holiday frame around them. I guess if I paid to get my girls all dolled up I'd use one of those photos, but they are all good. Maybe play around with a holiday frame and see which one jumps out at you.

I modified a recipe that I found for pudding eyeballs. I made orange jigglers. We took 1/2 plastic Easter eggs and washed them really well. Those went into egg cartons and we placed a gummy saver in the bottom and stuck a rootbeer jelly bean in the center. Then poured the jiggler mix into each egg and let them set up. The hardest part was getting them out. We floated them in hot water then used a knife to gently pull them out. I think they came out pretty good and Colby says that they are "tasty"
