Janet - love the new photo collage in your sig! You are ready for autumn.

Deb we enjoyed eating here as well & the boys enjoyed the playstation!

I showed Gary the pictures of your deck, he thinks you all did an awesome job as well. I can't wait to get ours(Of course we are talking another year or so  ).

The ESPN club was the restaurant that surprised us. The food was great and the portions were huge and the price wasn't bad at all. They even have some booths with Playstation which our kids loved.

Beth don't give us too much credit, it isn't finished yet :lmao: My dad called this morning and wanted to come work on it. I have so much laudry and housework that I neglected this weekend so I told him no. Then He wanted to come work on it alone. I still said no because I know that he will need me out there every other minute for this or that and I need to accomplish stuff in the house. Chris and I are supposed to work on it tonight. Of course I have to work the next 4 nights so whatever doesn't get done tonight won't get done until Sunday. I am the queen of unfinished project, someday I may finish some of them.

Thank you & yes I am! Garrett needed some fabric for class, so we went to Joanne's a few days ago. They had most of their fall items 40 - 50% off. So I bought a large boy & girl scarecrow & a neat decorated shovel. Now I need some straw bales & pumpkins & I will be ready to decorate outside. I will wait a few more weeks though, I just love this time of year & Halloween is my favorite next to Christmas :thumbsup2

Tammi how did it go getting the kids off to school this morning?

Amy how did you do?

 to you both!

We all went straight to ToT & all rode. This was Daniel’s & Sophie’s 1st time. The liked it but once was enough for them. It is still my all time favorite ride which nothing has yet to match. :thumbsup2

Next it was Star Tours (my 1st time), Muppets (for Katie), & the Great Movie Ride. I am not a big fan of the GMR but Katie & Dana love it. It was so crowded that it took 1 hour from start to finish with the lines. We got pictures & autographs from the pink power ranger & Buzz.

We saw Mater & Lightening McQueen & Herby. The kids didn’t know about the umbrella that rains so that was fun to watch them see it rain.
IMG_0614.jpg

We had a nice lunch at Sci Fi.
IMG_0634.jpg

IMG_0632.jpg

Bernadette & her family were a few cars over so I went over to say Hi & chat. After lunch we saw the HSM pep rally from afar.
IMG_0653.jpg

It was so crowded that when the stage came through & turned to face the crowd they call came running up to it that I was glad we were so far back on a park bench. I was surprised that the crowd level & how assertive they were. The kids got to see The Incredibles (wow, Mr. Incredible is tall!), & Frozone.

Emile (he was very playful with the kids),
IMG_0659.jpg
Quincy, & June. We caught LMA at the 2:45pm show.

IMG_0650.jpg

It was packed, I mean packed in. We were way at the top as we arrived right before the show. The stunts were great & we enjoyed this one more that I thought we would. I had a ToT FP so I jumped on alone at around 4pm while the kids were shopping in the Villain store. They love that store...hmmm wonder why? :lmao:

Time for dinner at H&V with Bernadette & Elizabeth & their families at 5:30pm. We had such a nice time chatting & the kids got along great. They all just clicked right away. I am so glad we all got to meet. I have a photo on my photo pass CD which is on its way so I’ll post that one when I can. We got our seats for Fantasmic. Bernadette handed out glow bracelets for everyone (thanks Bernadette!) & we enjoyed the show. Bernadette took way better pictures that I so these don’t do the show justice.

After the show we said goodbye to our friends & headed to the boat back to BC. We waited a very long time but one finally came & we were back “home” & in bed by 11:30pm

The kids did great this morning. Alyssa was up at 7:30, before I even woke her. Nicholas was up shortly after. So we were on time without having to rush around. Alyssa was excited but nervous. She was ready and willing to go. Nicholas however got more nervous at the bus stop. He did shed a few tears, but I think it was just the newness of going to a new class, new teacher, etc. I'm sure he's fine now that he is there. I was able to hold my tears until the bus pulled away. Then it hit me. Here are a few pictures.

Thank you both.

I'm enjoying your TR Anne Marie. It is making me really need my disney fix. 44 more days!

It took us 6 years to build a proper front deck/stairway and 7 years to build the deck. We built the house in late 1999. It is worth it, but they are costly to build. We did both ourselves. The front deck is all composite materials so it never has to be painted or treated in anyway That tiny deck was $2500. The back deck is 12 x 30 and will cost us about $2000 when all is said and done. Building is so expensive, I'm glad we built the house when we did. I bet we couldn't afford to build it now.

They are so cute. that you all have a great day.

Anne Marie - Thanks for posting your TR with the pictures! It really is starting to set in that we will be there in about 3 weeks!

Tammi - Alyssa is so BEAUTIFUL! princess: She looks so grown up! And Nicholas is getting so tall!
I am sure that she will have a blast, and Nicholas will do fine!

AnneMarie the trip report is great. It seems that you packed a lot into each day. Can't wait to read more.

Tammi I agree, I can't wait for the October trip either. I so wish that we could fly out on Thursday and make MNSSHP, but that just isn't going to happen, I should be happy just having the long weekend.

Thanks Tom and Deb. I know that they are having a great day. Every few minutes I catch myself wondering about what they are doing. I can't wait to pick them up and hear about their day!

Deb - I wish you were able to make it Thurs for the party too! We are all going to have such a great time!

I was an idiot and booked our airfare round trip. I've had 2 dings that would have gotten us there on Thursday, but the airfare home is nearly $200 one way now  If we came a day earlier I would have to book another nights hotel, another day of the rental car and I'd have to find someone to cover my hostess shift at work. It just isn't in the cards. We'll be there on Friday though and we'll be eager to meet everyone

Janet - love the new picture!

Heidi - a very nice sentiment, indeed. :)

I got a lot of administrative stuff out of the way this morning and had a wonderful time teaching my first class at 10:00. So I am back to being excited about teaching again. Now, that didn't take too long, did it? :rotfl:

Plus you would have to buy 2 MNSSHP tix.
