Yes, I am the crazy pin lady :lmao: :lmao:
At least that is one of the names my DH uses for me. My PinPics ID is ChaosCent. & I don't have 1,000, I have 946, I just checked. But I do have over 1,000 to trade. :yay: :dance3:
Feel free to check out my traders & I will check out yours. Thanks, Penny

I want to see your collection! DS's is more disorganized than I thought, which means it will take longer to fix than I thought! And DH and DS constantly trade back and forth with each other and I can't keep up.:headache: I don't think we have any traders listed. I just started our PinPics lists when we got back in August and we didn't have traders at that point. By the time all of my eBay pins get here we'll have 240, but with all the duplicates there are probably less than 200 designs. The ones I just bought are all rack pins.

I found an idea for a present for Jeff.

He likes it when I make homemade cookies. I was thinking about a coupon book for a batch of cookies each month. I just need some design help.

He is not picky he likes peanut butter, chocolate chip, I have made peanut butter/chocolate chip before as well. Should I put options on the coupons or make a few of each and he can choose which ones he wants that month. He also likes brownies. Banana pudding. Maybe I will make one for cookies and one for deserts. What do you all think?

Good plan!:thumbsup2

Thats what I was thinking Aug might be less crowded. I did not think of the flower and garden festival. I wonder how the crowds are early June. Our schools get out at the end of May.

Do your schools still finish that early? With the new state laws about not starting before the end of August we don't get out until June 4.

Deb I love these! Wow you did an awesome job :thumbsup2 OMG these are so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deb, the lights are incredible! They look just spectacular at night!

Well, I'm off to do a load of towels, and then to bed! It's been a long day, and I've been a bit under the weather. I've had a headache for the last 4 days, and it's worn me out!

Feel better, Glynis!

Olivia is so pretty & growing up so fast!

She is so sweet! Do you think Virginia will look like Olivia? My sisters look nothing like me.

I showed them to Garrett & he said would make them for me, he's so sweet

That was nice of him!:goodvibes

Oh I am so glad I came back on for a while. Tom you all look fantastic, I love your pictures! Your costumes are perfect. Glad to hear tonight was good, look forward to hearing about it. Leighanna looks like she is having the time of her life :goodvibes

Tom, those costumes are so fun! I am glad you had great weather!:)

Since I was about 12 pages back I have to go get ready for work now!:rotfl2:

Anne Marie - Have a great first day!

Jennifer - Congrats on the milestone!

Vicki - Good luck with your job layoff! Hopefully they will work it out today!

Karen - I like the Snow White costume but I think Shocker could probably go naked.;)

Kim - Good luck with the car repairs! :wizard: Yuck!

OK. Really going to work now. Have a great Monday, all!

Have you ever made the cinnamon/applesauce ornaments? They are so easy & smell good too!

I loved it when my girls made those in school when they were little. They turned out nice (good for their ego) and smelled wonderful.

We had a ball at MNSSHP. The weather was PERFECT! A nice breeze blowing, and NO HUMIDITY! What a wonderful night!

Here are a couple of pictures from tonight.

Have a nice night DDA!

What beautiful pictures. I have been trying to either edit so that the repeats are thumbprints or I remove them. However, these are just too cute not to have everyone see them again.

 Penny

Thought I better say hi soon. I'm not ignoring you, I'm just not posting much lately as my mom and sister just bought the house across the street from me and I have been helping them get settled.

I do remember you from when you posting before, but then like a lot of others you were gone. Hope you choose to stay around longer this time.

Heidi

Well I got up at 6:00 AM CST to check whether we were working today. There was nothing on the official website so I looked in my email and nothing there either. I went back to the official website. Lo & Behold: they have settled it. It kind of irks me that they posted at 7:05 AM EST (most of Michigan time) that we had to be at work at 8:00 AM. I'm glad we have work today but they sure are expecting a lot, aren't they? Less than an hour to prepare & go to work. For me, it wasn't an issue but those with kids, etc. have a lot more to deal with than I do.

We went to WalMart and Big Lots yesterday afternoon. Christmas stuff is in the stores. It was funny walking into Big Lots, they had Halloween stuff as soon as you walked in and then 4 aisles down Christmas stuff.

Jennifer, what about rice pudding or tapioca pudding? Snowball cookies? How about cutouts?

I'm glad you are employed again, Vicki.

Where can I begin to tell you all how very proud of my daughter I am? She has studied and honed her craft well this past year and it showed last night bright and clear. The entire ensemble cast, the set and lighting design, the direction and the writing were all beyond spectacular. But my daughter, the Actor, was resplendent.

Within the span of 80 minutes or so, Kristin portrayed four vastly different characters. When we entered the theater she was seated in the audience, in full makeup and costume. Just sitting there staring off into space. She did that for 35 minutes until the play opened. Her first character was a spoiled Tidewater teenager complaining about the uncomfortable seats in the theater, and imploring those of us in attendance with her to rise up and shift in our seats so her movements and the resulting squeaking and screeching would not be so obvious.

Her second entrance was as that of a child, I would think about age 5 or 6, with a completely different voice, talking about letting go of her mother's hand as they tried to escape the flames. The child's mother had made her dress for the evening and had become exasperated trying to do the final fitting, telling the child that she would just have to grow into the dress. Kristin's last line as that character was, "Never had the chance."

Next she was an older, more refined survivor of the fire, comparing the flavors of every succulent dessert imaginable to the sweet smell of fresh air when she finally got out of the theater. And finally, another survivor who described the escape of a family of pigeons from the collapsing roof, only to watch their wings catch fire and then burn and fall at her feet.

Each character had a slightly different Tidewater dialect and tone color, dependent upon the age and education of the character. I was stunned. Last night showed me that she is right where she belongs. No matter what her future holds she will be happy on the stage and that makes this mother very proud.

What a wonderful post :goodvibes

I'm glad you get to see the production several times. Have you written a letter to her to tell her how you feel? That would really be something to cherish. :)

Ok People...Here are the Much Anticipated Photos...

I can't wait to see how they look in the dark tonight. I'll post those pictures after work tonight :cool1: :cool1: I'm so excited as I LOVE THEM

Deb -- they are amazing! And I loved them at night as well. You did a great job with the red lights. I wonder if some kind of glow in the dark material would help the polka dots "pop" like the lights help the outline -- or it might just be annoying...

Vicki -- congrats on the news on your job!

All the turquoise jewelry is beautiful! I always look at it when we go to New Mexico, and I have bought a few pieces.

Jennifer -- you may have already made the shirts, but if you go with one that has princesses, I like the first design. I also like the last design with the young Minnie, as I think it goes better with the theme of the shirt and will flow better.

Lindsay and Elizabeth -- I sure could use some fall-like weather. 92 and 94 degrees with humidity is getting old...

I hope everyone has a great week!

Awesome! I am showing these to Gary, I want some :thumbsup2

What is Minnie's bow made with? Looks good!

Minnie's Bow is 6 ft rope lights with fabric hot glued in the centers

I showed them to Garrett & he said would make them for me, he's so sweet

Perfect, Just Pecfect  Did the rest of your family dress up?

WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD THIS MONTH, PEOPLE!!!!!

Yep, And We can't Wait :cool1:  :cool1:

They are even more spectacular lit at night, Deb! Are you pleased?

I Love them. Couldn't be happier

Good morning!

Had a busy weekend. There's no way that I'll catch up. Does anyone have a recap they'd like to share? :goodvibes

Got Owen's room painted and a load of stuff taken to the dump. We took the van in to get it inspected and it failed because of the brakes. so, we'll have to get that fixed. The van wouldn't start yesterday either when we went to take it back to the dealership. When it rains it pours.

Hope everyone has a great day. Got a ton of stuff to do today.

Great Accomplishment on the room.
:wizard: :wizard: with the car

We went to WalMart and Big Lots yesterday afternoon. Christmas stuff is in the stores. It was funny walking into Big Lots, they had Halloween stuff as soon as you walked in and then 4 aisles down Christmas stuff.

Joann's had there Christmas stuff in and Home Depot has all their stuff out too. It's kind of weird seeing Fully Decorated Christmas Trees in September. Maybe I'll forget about decorating my deck for Halloween and go straight for Christmas :lmao:

I'm glad you are employed again, Vicki.
:woohoo: :woohoo: Though as hard as you've been working I bet you could have used a day off ;)

It looks like another beautiful fall day here. Since I'm working pretty much every night this week I guess that I'd better be productive during the days. With only 18 days until our trip I need to get some things done around here, not to mention packing. It's a good thing that I only need clothes for 3 days :lmao:

It is raining here today :sad2:

I was considering getting out my luggage, I will need to start packing soon! I can't believe that in a little over 2 weeks I will get to meet some of the most wonderful people ever :woohoo:
