I promise that if I win the lottery between now and then, I'll be there! Oh, and you'll have to promise not to tell the preschool that I'm not deathly ill.

Though the way it's going, we may not have a 4's class at the preschool this year. The state released more money in June for Universal Pre-Kindergarten, and several of our very few 4's have called recently to withdraw to go to UPK (which is 5 half days a week and free...well, paid for by tax money).

I know we will be at Epcot on the 27th later in the afternoon, we have ADR's at the Beirgarten around 4pm. I'm sure with this being our last day we will be doing some hopping. What are your plans & what time are you getting in?

We get in around 2 I think. My plans are at work, so I'll e-mail you next week.

We all have these times in our lives that just plain stink......well I am going through that right now and I miss having a computer at home so I can escape to the DDA. So you can pass over my pity party post.

To get my girls ready and registered for school took almost $1000 and that was with asking for scholarship help on a couple of things and not paying for a couple of "extras". What little savings we had went to buying the house and we are looking at having to get a new (to us) car here shortly and replacing the dishwasher and soon the refrigerator (I so felt your pain Robyn...we have been able to dislodge our door without breaking a shelf...so far).

Things are blech at work and there are days when I want to just quit.....but can't because of the money.

Top it off with the fact that my darling daughter has become the most disrespectful, venom filled teenager and it's just the cherry on the top of my pity party sundae.

I'm sorry, Theresa. I hope that life is rosier for you soon! I did have to chuckle at your last line as well! Not that the situation is funny at all...it was your reaction to it that was so funny...

The work event went well. It was very, very humid and in the 80's. Another thing checked off my list.

I got a conference call for work at 10am tomorrow. I gotta pack. I gotta drive to the office. Then I must drive to the work party and then off to Baltimore.

Now I am off to finish drinking another glass of water and then I am heading to bed as I am getting a headache.

So it looks like we couldn't have picked a better weekend. The forecast for tomorrow is a high of 82 with low or no humidity. That is almost unheard of in these parts this time of year.

Speaking of finances, I'm working on creating a budget for next year's vacation. Since the stay is completely paid for and we have our Annual passes I think all we need to budget for is gas for the trip and food money. For some reason I think I'm missing something. I think I'll have my parents buy me one of those food saver machines for Christmas then I can make extra when I cook and stock the camper with easy to heat meals. obviously we will eat in the parks some, but I crave home cooked food when we're away.

Remind me when I get back from vacation. I've ordered from some website that has those. I think I got a Mickey waffler. They keep sending me special offers. I'll forward the email to you the next time I get one.

Don't know. My uncle called and said that they'll be in later this afternoon. Maybe we'll see you there.

I pulled the trigger and switched resorts. We're now at the CBR from Dec 16-26 at the AP rate of 1562.66. It was only $69 better than the value season but it's better in my pocket than WDW. I'm sure that they'll get it somehow. Thanks for the note on it, Lindsay. That makes me feel better. We took a standard room and asked for the Jamaican Building 45. All in all, it was $1351 less than the Contemporary.
Since we just shelled out a ton to replace the water pipe in the house, it makes me feel better knowing that the room won't be too bad and our AP's are already paid for.

I think you'll be very happy with your decision. I've come home to buyers remorse after staying at a deluxe. I really liked the new rooms at CR but they were not very user friendly-weird bathroom sinks and no drawers to unpack. I was glad I wasn't there with my entire family. I also didn't think the CR was really all that conveniently located. The walk to MK was great but it wasn't any easier to get to any other park than staying at any other resort.

Riley had it for a couple of days, he is back to his chipper self today.

Garrett took Riley over to the school so he can show him around & see where his classrooms are. I wish they were this loving to each other all the time. I think Garrett is loving the idea of being able to show his younger brother the ropes of the new school. He told me that he would keep an eye out on him & make sure no one messes with him lol

Hope you're feeling better soon. I haven't been feeling well but I will NOT be sick. Joe's had a fever the past few days but still eating OK-hope he keeps it to himself and noone gets it any worse.

I'm thinking of trying the cabins at FW for our trip in Oct. next year.

Deb I know you had a car, but how easy/difficult will it be to get around without a car? If we stay there, I will not be renting a car.

That is the biggest problem with the cabins. You need to take an internal campground bus to get to the bus stop (or boat ramp) that gets you to the parks. You may want to rent a golf cart for getting around in the campground.

theresa i'll throw a pity party with you. last month i had 3 weeks of hell and this past week has been hell. only been hell in my mind oh well we will get through it.
