Those of you with younger kids, say 5 & 12 or so ;), would you ever take a trip to WDW without them? I'm just tossing around the idea in my head for just Craig & I to go in July 2008. It will be our 15th anniversary and since we honeymooned in WDW, it would be ok for just us to go, right? I'm feeling a bit guilty of even considering not taking them.

Chris and I asked the kids what they would think if Chris and I went to WDW without them. Nick put on the cutiest pout face (remember he is 11) and said that he would think that we didn't love him :rotfl: Since my kids love Disney as much as we do I know that they would be upset if we went there without them. That being said they wouldn't mind us going somewhere else alone in fact they'd love the time with Grammy and Papa.

I too have read along as time permitted today. I've been too busy to post, but loved the pictures of the kids, deer and lovely fruit display. Karen I hope that the bank handles that mess quickly. :wizard: and  to those who need it.

I've worked the last two nights and have the next two off. Tomorrow night is Nick's band concert and Friday night is my campout at school with Hunter. Hopefully it doesn't rain. I also need to cut Chris's hair and make sure that Hunter completes the book report and is ready for his oral report :headache: Looks like my nights off will be busy.

I am home and my new contract looks good!:cool1: I e-mailed my new bosses to tell them I am ready to sign it, we just need to set up a time.

I am kind of irked that I will have to drag all 3 kids to a camp orientation for Brother on Friday morning. Dadboss went to the one for Sister tonight, then he came home and said she was supposed to be there, too. Oops. So he wants to make sure Brother goes to the one on Friday AM. We WERE going to go to the zoo, but we won't make it there until about 11 AM if we have to go to the orientation first. Grrr. What kind of camp has an HOUR of orientation? It's DAY camp, not residential! Just send the paperwork to the house and be doen with it! And this is the camp the kids are going to after I don't work there anymore! So I will get all this info and none of it will pertain to me. Whatever. The camp they are going to in a couple of weeks (which I will be handling) is the one that we have zero info about. Momboss is looking into that.

I signed DS up for baseball camp at the high school for the week of June 11. After 2 e-mails and a phone call they FINALLY confirmed today that he is registered. Which will please him tremendously, but there again, NO info whatsoever. I guess we'll bring his glove & a water bottle the first day and go from there. A little communication would be useful. I guess the inmates run all of the asylums.:scared:

Sounds like it was a busy and/or blechy day for all.:wizard: that Thursday is better.

Good night everyone! I've got quite a headache, so I'm calling it a night, and I'm going to try to sleep it off!

That's wonderful Elizabeth! :woohoo:

Thanks, Janet! I am excited!

I am glad you made it through inventory. Yuck! We used to have to do it every quarter or every 6 months when I was in retail, and DH used to have to do it when he was in grocery. What a pain!

Glad to hear the boys are feeling OK today!:)

Good morning everyone. Today should be better for me as I'm only working until 2:30 because I have a routine dr. appt. that I need to go to. Hopefully the day will go fast.

I hope you all have a good day!

Good morning...Can somebody tell me where this week has gone? I've tried keeping up by reading along but think I've missed some pages. Sending out 's, :cheer2: and :wizard: to everyone.

Emma and I went on her school field trip yesterday to the zoo. I have no idea what possessed me to agree to chaperon. It was about 88 degrees and very sunny. And the zoo is all on a hill. Needless to say, we were both exhausted. We skipped our last soccer practice as I just didn't think Emma could handle it. We also had planned to go to her school's performance of the Wizard of Oz. Well we got up to school at 6:50pm, (it started at 7pm) but apparently is was canceled! No notices or anything in Emma's backpack so I wasn't very happy. Neither was Molly, it is her obsession right now.

Anyway, today Molly and the 2 little boys, their grandma works with Eric, I watch are headed to Eric's work as they are throwing him a baby shower. He ha He has no idea so it should be fun.

I hope everyone has a great day. I need to get the girls moving!! Talk to you later.

Beth- beautiful pic's!! It sounds like you've been very busy!! Come back to us whenever you can. Sorry to hear Laura's team didn't make Nationals but it sounds like it was a good season overall.

Thanks!

Laura's team did have a great season. We were hoping for Nationals, but it just wasn't in the cards this year. Some members of the younger team that made Nationals are being a little snotty, but I guess that is just because they are young (not sure what the coaches excuse is ;) ). It would have been nice, since Nationals are so close to us this year. Next year they are in Tucson. I would love to go there, but I can't imagine how we would swing it financially. Especially since I'm working on that whole trip out west for July, 2008.

I don't know how you did it Beth, but I'm amazed at the zoom on your camera! It looks like you are right next to the baby!

Love the fruit arrangements too! Do they end up being cost effective? I think a small one around here goes for about $40...

I love my new camera! I am actually fairly close to the baby in that shot, though. Mama left baby under the tree, and I was able to go out to about 10 feet away. The hardest part was finding a way to shoot around the branches.

my day sucked. i got a call at 8 this morning from my visa check card company to verify some charges. well at that time someone had charged $1300 to my account. had to cancel card and call bank. bank said go make police report then come in within 24-48 hours of making report. went made report then to bank. by 1 pm the total spent was $3319.42. charges were to 3 different websites overseas. ugh!

:wizard: that it all works out. What a pain!

Sure, Beth! It's nice to see you posting again! How are things?

Thanks, Glynis! I'm going to try to be back more, but real life has a way of getting in the way. :rotfl:

Everything seems to speed up as we get near the end of the school year, too. Matthew had a orchestra concert on Tuesday, and he has another next Tuesday! The one that he just had was rescheduled from last month due to some complications, but still... It's like that with all of the activities right now. I can't wait until school is out for the summer (June 20th)!!!
