It only took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get home. Not bad considering it's a friday afternoon on a holiday weekend.

Before I forget....I ended up picking up a second copy of The Princess Schoolrincess Charming and would love to send it out to a DDAer's kiddo. It's a chapter book....easy read for my fifth grader.

When we went to the Scholastic warehouse sale last Friday they had all of the Disney Fairies books that we were missing...I know what Abi is going to read first this summer!!

Has she read Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg? That was the first one that Katie read, and it inspired her to read the rest of the books. I just picked up the newest one as a surprise for Katie on the DL trip! She'll be so excited!

We got that the day it came out.....it is a great book!!! The others seem to be not on the same level of difficulty but still good books.


ETA: Abi loved it so much that Halloween she dressed up like she felt Prilla would look like.

Are you cleaning with bleach or other cleaning products before she starts biting? My cats don't like the smell of bleach and will bite me (hard) if I have bleach smell on my hands. If she's only biting at night - maybe a dryer sheet smell?

Nope. I hardly ever clean AT ALL, let alone with bleach! She bites all the time, but she seems particularly interested in biting us while we are trying to sleep.

So Nick does NOT like my new haircut. He says that it's too short for a girl

I went through a phase several years ago where my hair got shorter and shorter. DH's friend said to me "The next time I see you, you'll be bald!" I haven't had it that short since then, but my face is fatter than it used to be and I think having my hair really short would emphasize that.

Ouch. Sorry you didn't get the job! I think there will be offers coming your way, but it is so hard to be patient!

We ordered Chinese for dinner. I am really tired. Maybe because I had a cat in my face all night? I could go to bed right now and be perfectly happy.
