Have a fantastic "end of move" weekend!!! Don't forget to celebrate with a cookout on Monday!!! I sure wish I could come help you!!! It just seems so silly to be so close (relatively speaking), and not manage to get together! We're going to have to work on it. Once my DL trip is done, and your WDW trip is done, and we have nothing else to plan, we can get on it! Sound good???

Sounds awesome!!! Part of the end of the move is finding a grill so we can have a cookout. :rotfl:

No just sssslllloooooooowwwww. It looks like everyone has already left for the holiday weekend, so we are dead here. At least until everyone realizes that they don't have their maps to go away. IF people are going away. OK - I'm rambling now. :teeth:

glynis we had you tator taco casserole last night. pretty good, next time i am gonna buy some chez wiz and drench it in cheese. :rotfl2: i am a big cheese person.

Abi's class learned how to write persuasively this past semester, here is what she just handed me:

Dear Mom-

I know you know that I want a pet, preferably a dog, a puppy is more like it really. From wanting this so badly, I thought I would write another persuasive letter. Just think of it as a second draft of the other letter I wrote.

I know in my last letter I said I wanted a Beagle but I am so desperate now, that I am going to ask only for a dog, to be broad and to make your mind more open.

I'm going to ask you for a smaller dog, like a dachsond or a beagle, or something like that. I haven't met Bailey yet, but if I do, I think that the dog we get will become good friends with Baily. Also, you just said this afternoon, that our cat will be an inside cat, which I don't want, I want whatever pet we get to have plenty of friends.

Besides that, I will treat it as you treat Cassidy and me. In other words, it will be like my own child. I will love him/her dearly, and will take care of him/her as well as love it. the rest I've already covered.

p.s. I will do all the chores for it, just get a pooper scooper.

The poor kid is desperate!! I hope that we are able to get a pet after the allergy testing next week.

The disappearing panties just boggle me. Sister's panties don't disappear, which is pretty darn remarkable since there are dirty clothes from one end of the house to the other on Mondays. And apparently when her cousin comes over they play in whatever clothes they can reach - not just the dress-up clothes. We even have an extra pair of panties that came home from school with Sister, but they aren't hers.:scared:

I hope everyone has fun this weekend! No big plans for us. Maybe we'll go see Pirates. Our house is a PIT. With DH working nonstop and me having interviews all last weekend things are REALLY out of control. Because truthfully it was already in pretty bad shape before last weekend.:rolleyes1 I hate to clean. If I had taken the job with all the money I could have hired a housekeeper. Guess I better get busy being happy and cleaning my own house!:rotfl2:

My dear friend (DS's "uncle") wants to give DS his collection of vintage Star Wars toys. I know DS will LOVE them, but we need a place to PUT them! We need to do some major "weeding out" in his room.

Theresa - that is some letter! Has Abi spent much time around puppies? Does she know they chew incessantly? And Beagles can be hyper! It is cute that she wants her pet to have friends!:rotfl: Though I am huge on "indoor cats". Of course we think Arabella may be possessed by demons, but other then that I think indoor cats are lovely.

Arabella likes to bite. Since she is still only 8 weeks old and has her claws I am not sure what drives this compulsion. And she doesn't bite and let go, she bites and then clamps her jaws together with greater and greater force. (well, as much force as an 8 week old kitten can muster.) We don't recall Aurora being like that. Last night when I went to bed it was LATE. Arabella was walking on me, putting her nose in my eyelid, sticking her paw in my ear, biting me. I would put her on the floor, she would immediately climb back up, more nose in the eye, more paw in the ear. We aren't locking her up at night anymore, so she harrasses us pretty much the whole time.

Aurora started sneezing a lot yesterday, and her nose is sniffly again. I think we may have to take her to the vet. She was doing fine, but then yesterday she seemed to get slammed with respiratory issues.

It's 90+ degrees here. The kids are playing out in the sprinklers. I think we need to put at least one airconditioner in. I'm cooking in here. Guess I'd better get ready for work. TTYL

Sounds good to me!!!

Glad you liked it.

my mom is finally retired.:cool1: UH-OH. job find me now PLEASE.:rotfl2: im not sure how long i can stand being with mom 24/7.:lmao:

Congratulations for your Mom. I'm sure she has waited her whole life for this day. Enjoy your time together, it can't last forever.

Dadboss noticed this morning that one of the A/C units is frozen. We just turned it off because it isn't that hot here today. Hopefully it will thaw and resume operations when we turn it back on!

Abi has been around hyper dogs....our best friends have a golden....she seems to think puppies will stay puppies forever ( for a smart kid sometimes she is so not smart).

We have a batch of outdoor cats running around our complex...she thinks a cat could just join in on the fun. Indoor cats are all I know and want to know....I don't want to have to worry about where the kitty is and whether it's hurt or injured.

So Nick does NOT like my new haircut. He says that it's too short for a girl :upsidedow
