The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 25

I had my mammogram 1-1/2 weeks ago. I skipped them for the last two years (not intentionally but I forgot my appointments & never rescheduled). After posting about it a couple of weeks ago, I decided I should take my own advice. The results came back and all is well.

Last year I just never managed to call to make the appointment so this year I made sure to bring my calendar with me and went right to office to make the appointment after my drs visit. I wasn't really expecting to get one for Friday but it will be nice to have it over with.

We got to eat at our new kitchen table for the first time tonight. I never knew I had such modern tastes.

That sounds nice.

Dr. thinks I have probably started perimenopause which can last 5 years. What a PITA. TOM is coming more frequently, lasting longer and is much stronger. Plus, I am warm alot. Now, mind you I need to wear gloves sometimes in the summer in air conditioned buildings because I'm always cold!!! I wear sweaters/sweatshirts year round unless I'm outside during the day when the sun is shining. All of a sudden, I'm too warm to keep them on all day.

Sounds fun.....

We went to an Awards Banquet last night where Becky got a scholarship. She has turned into such a young lady. I miss my little girl sometimes.

That's good to hear. I got the paperwork to get my first one done back in January, but haven't made the appt. yet. I guess I need to get off my butt and do it.

We went to an Awards Banquet last night where Becky got a scholarship. She has turned into such a young lady. I miss my little girl sometimes.

Congratulate Becky on the scholarship. It is hard to see our babies growing up and how can this be as we aren't aging

It's probably been about a month since I heard from her. I too hope everything is okay.

I sent her a PM, hopefully I'll hear something from her soon.

I just got an e-mail from the family I was waiting to hear from. OK, so I e-mailed them and asked for an update, but I only have 90 days left in my job so I am starting to get fidgety. Their nanny is definitely leaving after her baby is born, so they want to interview me. This is good. Progress is very good!

We made our way over to World Showcase past the rose garden and Tinkerbell's Garden. (We never did visit the butterfly house or kids area there).

We just missed Mary Poppin's last greeting of the day. We went to France to see the movie-the 22 yo spent 7 weeks on a college program so she really wanted to see that. We got to see Sleeping Beauty and Beast before the movie and my friend & I went back to UK to get a Guiness-I was surprise they let me use my DDE discount for a beer we were taking out.

I keep thinking that with mine...I can just imagine how bad it's going to be shortly. My baby is done with elementary school in 5 1/2 school days.

Becky's last official day of high school was Friday. She has finals this week and Monday but she only has to be at the school during the finals. Her graduation is May 27th. The time has went by so quickly.

I just got an e-mail from the family I was waiting to hear from. OK, so I e-mailed them and asked for an update, but I only have 90 days left in my job so I am starting to get fidgety. Their nanny is definitely leaving after her baby is born, so they want to interview me. This is good. Progress is very good!

In Japan we waited for the candy lady. She made the girls a flamingo and a humming bird. She is SO amazing! The girls gave her thank you cards and she posed for a photo with the girls when she was done.

I had the girls help me pick out and ugly oyster. I got a 7 1/4 pearl that I had put in a "cage" for a chain. I'll have to take a photo of the finished item. Someone after me got a 8 1/4 pearl-that thing was HUGE. I did like the settings in Japan better than at YC.

We continued around World Showcase taking in the atmosphere. I really love Epcot.

We left Epcot before Illuminations as we were all really tired. I had a nice surprise from the resort in my room when we returned.
