Good morning :)

Bernadette I am loving your TR & your pictures are beautiful!

Tom you landscaping is fantastic, you need to come to my house :thumbsup2

Tom - your house looks beautiful. Are you responsible for all the landscaping? It is just terrific!
Thanks Elin. Yes, when we moved in there was nothing but overgrown bushes in the front with weeds growing in the patch beside the front walk. I have a picture here somewhere, I just don't know where it is right now!:confused3
I have a Sony DSC-H5 but they just came out with a H9 that I really want.;) The H5 is very simular to the H2 which is very reasonably priced. It has image stabilization-to get those hand held night time shots, has a 12 times optical zoom and is SO much better at focusing than my old Sony. My old camera was great for "standard" shots but not so great at macro or night time shots. It was nice that it fit in my pocket but this new camera never felt too heavy so I'm very pleased with it.

You need a camera that has image stablization. I wasn't getting these shots with my old camera.
This is the camera that is on my wish list! Your pictures are tempting me to look more into it!
Good morning :)

Thanks Janet!

Of course we have rain today. I finally can fit grocery shopping in and I'll be loading and unloading the car in the rain. Wouldn't you know :sad2: I need to get the food all situated for home and the camper so I really need to put together a list before I go and I need to hit Price Chopper and BJ's in the hour and a half that I have. I also hope to get our clothes into the camper though I'm still not sure what to bring. This is really my only chance to do so before Friday morning and we leave Friday afternoon :rolleyes1 Chris is taking a test tonight so I'll be going to scouts with Hunter, I haven't had to do that in a while. I think we're coming up with a skit for the campfire program for this weekend. It should be fun.

Darn Rain :umbrella:
Hope you are able to get everything done that you want to!

Good luck to Chris on his test

have a great day Deb

I just checked the weather forcast for this weekend. Accuweather says showers Friday night, but no rain for Saturday. Weather.com is calling for no rain on Friday with showers all day Saturday. Lets hope that accuweather is right. The last 2 years we have had rain the whole trip. The kids need some sun for the mini golf and fishing derby.

Paula,
Hi!!!!Good to hear from you.

Elin,
Sounds like you will one busy lady!

Bernadette,
All I can say about your photos is WOW!!!!! Keep em coming!!! Love your TR!

Deb,
Fingers crossed for no rain!

Jen,
:yay: :yay: :yay:

Tom,
Great pictures!!!

:grouphug: for everyone.

I have my WW's meeting this afternoon. I am using my WI pass today (I can attend but not WI) since I have been very bad:guilty: Hopefully today's meeting will be very motivating.

I don't have my DSL hooked up..but I do have internet and the desk set up so you all have me again!!!:rotfl2:

We tried going to our traditional girl's birthday dinner restaurant....didn't realize until we got there....it's closed on Mondays:eek: . So we went to Ruby Tuesdays and have a rainstorm going right now.

I'm sorry the restaurant was closed! What a bummer. But I love Ruby Tuesday!!!!

Did the girls have a nice day?

it was a school day...don't know that you can call it nice...we had a good time at dinner though...they got crispy fries right out of the fryer when the manager heard them say they liked the crispy ones the best. They ate that instead of the free ice cream. :rotfl:

Good afternoon, everyone. Sounds like everyone is doing ok.

I have spent the morning de-junking my pantry. Alan bought some shelf organizers, so I figured it would be a good thing to get the pantry cleaned out and the organizers installed. I was able to consolidate quite a bit of stuff, and get rid of things that I'd forgotten about. I also have a bunch of stuff to take downstairs to our food storage room. Guess that's the next thing I have to tackle.

Tammi - I'm keeping my eye opened for some hideous monstrosity for your kids to give their dad. Do you think he'd like a used Chia pet? I've got a couple of those.

Lindsay - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this batch of interns stays good, and you have a relatively stress-free summer.

Bernadette - LOVING YOUR TRIP REPORT!!! I especially love that I now can relate to your pictures and report. I can look at the pictures and say, "I was there!" Now I just have to convince Alan to go back.

Elizabeth - I hope the kitty adjusts to being home alone, not to mention drinking her water.

Deb - I'll keep my fingers crossed for dry weather for the campout! Nothing worse than camping in the rain. Of course, with a trailer you are a little better off, but it's tough on the activities. Have fun at Scouts tonight!

Anne Marie - You inspired me with your day off yesterday. I got all the kids off to their friends houses yesterday afternoon, and I spent a couple of hours in the backyard on my swing, reading and enjoying the hummingbirds!

Heidi - I'm glad you are reading along. I worry about you!

Well, I'm off to do a load of laundry. It just never ends, does it?

Wow, what a slow day on this thread. Everyone must be busy.

I managed to get all of our grocery/camping supply shopping done while the kids were at school. I even got it all put away which I think took as long as buying it :rotfl: Now I need to get the clothing together.

Just wanted to drop in and say

Things are as usual quite busy around here. Not to mention that the weather has been gorgeous so we've been outside a lot. This week is crazy busy, we go to settlement on our refinance, I have my OB check up, Emma has soccer, Molly has gymnastics and the thing that I am looking forward to the most is our 3D ultrasound on Thursday. I wish I could say that things will slow down but I don't see that happening until the baby comes. I am trying to also coordinate Emma's travel schedule for the summer and come up with some fun things for the girls to do while we are off with the baby. And we still need to get the baby's room painted and Emma and Molly's room put together. My weekends are booked solid with get togethers and birthday parties til the end of June. We have just started looking at and pricing new minivans, hopefully in 2 weeks we'll have a new one. And we still haven't decided on a middle name yet! Thank goodness I have been feeling pretty good and that Eric has something like 10 weeks of vacation time! I'm sure we'll chip that away quickly!! I hate these last 2 months, the worse part is just not being able to get comfortable. One day at a time!!

I've been reading along and have so enjoyed all the pictures. Bernadette, great trip report too! Tom, are you for hire? Elizabeth, love the new kitty. Jen, you looked beautiful on graduation day. Enjoy your lazy days and Disney!

Theresa~ Can you tell Cassidy & Abi that Emma, Molly and I wish them both belated very Happy Birthdays! Glad to hear Jim's party was a success.

Tammi~ Way to go Nicholas!! Emma just started riding her "big girl bike" and loves it. We went to a picnic at a county park Sunday and all she did was ride the bike trails with a friend. She managed to learn to ride without training wheels from her friend and her older sister. I'm just glad I didn't have to teach her. :rolleyes1 I'm sure she would never learn if I taught her. I hear revenge is sweet, so I hope you enjoy Father's Day!

Paula~ It was good to see you drop in. Here's some :wizard: for Bethie. I can completely understand what you are going through. :yay: for Ellie!

Sending out 's, :wizard: and :cheer2: to all!! I'll try to keep up!!

Jennifer - glad to hear you had a wonderful trip, but sorry to hear that RL is crashing down again. How did you guys like BCV?

Well, congratulations on only 64 more days, I hope they fly by! I'm glad the group doesn't seem too bad!

We loved BCV! I really think that I prefer SSR as our home resort (for reasons I will be glad to disclose, but won't bore you with otherwise), but it was so perfect for this trip! We had an excellent time, and I hope to get pictures and a report going soon! Not that you'll have time to read them until the fall, but still! ;)

I should clarify, as well. Real life isn't all that bad. Kyle is still on vacation until tomorrow, I've been back at work 2 days now and still just love it, etc. There's truly only one aspect of it that has me down.... and it has me REALLY down at times, but for the most part things couldn't be better and life is wonderful! Thank you though, for your encouragement! :goodvibes

Well Just got caught up. Our AC froze up sat. afternoon so Olivia and I spent all day Sun at my moms waited till Jeff had been home for a few hrs to let the house cool off before we came home. Worked yesterday and stayed the night at my moms as Jeff closed last night at work. The Repair man came out today and recharged our AC so it is nice and cool now.

Hope every one Had a great Mothers Day

Wow! Almost 4 hours between posts! Real life must be rearing it's ugly head! Hope everyone is doing well.

I am sorry that you all are so busy (like me) but delighted that you all are so busy. It took me only 14 minutes to get caught up!

Enjoy your evenings, DDA!
