Our countdown to Disney has begun. Each day we take off a Mickey paint chip to count down the days. (these have been recycled from last time so no more trees were harmed to make this.:lmao: )

That's what we do as well... looks great! :cool1:

Evening everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day :goodvibes

Jo great job on the yard :thumbsup2

Jen love your graduation pictures, has it sunk in yet?

Elizabeth your kitten is soooooooooo cute! Makes me want another one, I love the little furballs lol

Anne Marie I love your countdown! We do not have the Mickey paint chips around here :( Hint, hint :rolleyes1

Had a great day over at mil's. Cooked out BBQ ribs with baked beans, potato salad, three bean salad, & watergate salad. I am stuffed! Best of all we talked Disney & about our trip in Dec. :thumbsup2

Riley & I went for a nice walk & now I am just going to relax.

We just got back from Macaroni Grill. I had the lobster ravioli. Yummy!

We have our bathroom all set up for Arabella so she has a safe place to be when we are out. She doesn't like to be locked in there, though. As soon as we came home she was squeaking to come out! I just got an e-mail with her medical records so I can give those to our vet. She is very playful. She spins in circles trying to catch her own tail.:rotfl2:

Jo - Your yard looks great! You are so handy with all of your projects - everything always looks so nice!

Anne Marie - What a cool countdown calendar! Did you grab all of those paint chips during one visit or over the course of several?

Good Evening all!

Well another productive day. Well.... almost!

Got most of the mulch put down in front, too bad the sun went down before I could finish.:rolleyes1 But, boy do every muscle in my body hurt!:goodvibes

Jo, great job on the side yard!:thumbsup2 I could use someone like you around here to give me pointers on my back yard!
Still plain, except for Leighanna's play center! Oh well!

I plan to take pictures tomorrow of what I have done. Too bad I didn't get a before picture.

Anne Marie, love your countdown ticker! I might have to make a few trips to Home Depot to get some!:rolleyes1

Jen great pictures of your graduation! How many days 'til you go to WDW?

Thanks for all the comments on Leighanna's pictures. I marvel every day at how big she is getting! I miss my little baby!

Elizabeth, Arabella is sooo cute!

Prayers and :wizard: to all who need it!

Hope all you Mom's had a wonderful day!

Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day.

Last night I took my Mom out for Mother's day. We also went to visit my Grandma. Today I went to Hersheypark, then to my neighbor's first communion party, as their church had the brainy idea to have first communion on mother's day. I also went to visit my Nana.

Update on Aidan

Happy Mother's Day all! We got to see our boy today and were slightly surprised. It seems he may be coming down with an infection, however first test results were negative. Yesterday he was quite discontent and they had to give him a little oxygen assistance. He is still on the Nasal Canuala today. I am asking for specific prayers that the Doctor's will still continue with the surgery plans and operate on Tuesday and that this infection if present not interfere with those plans.

We want our boy home and the longer they postpone, the greater the chance of continued infections.

houdini.jpg

this is our cat now, Houdini. shocker leaves him alone. he is kind of a mean kitty. if she walks past him he bats his paw at her. the other day we dropped a piece of chicken on the floor and we were gonna let shocker get but Houdini and shocker got there at the same time. well shocker got a paw in the face.

Your cat looks exactly like our Riley. I swear they could be twins :goodvibes

Here is our Riley

When his head is down you don't notice the white under his neck.

We've been sooo busy this weekend I've bearly had time to catch up. I worked last night then came home and spent time with the family. We played Disney Scene It :thumbsup2 Colby and I won :cool1:

We got up pretty early this morning and went to my Parent's house. I gave my Mother a hanging geranium for the front of her garage and a Venus Breeze razor (I LOVE mine). Then Chris and the boys took me out to a champagne breakfast buffet. It was lovely and we were there early enough to have most of the restaurant to ourselves. Then off to work. I had to be there by 11 AM. We opened at noon and were pretty busy until about 4PM then all heck broke loose for 3 hours. I ended up working a 10 hour shift, but I made some Disney money so it was worth it. I made it home just in time to tuck the boys in and get extra hugs and kisses of course. Speaking of hugs and kisses, I put the Hershey variety on each of my dinner checks today. Do you think it may have helped with tips or are people more generous on Mother's Day?

I got home and read through the last 36 hours, had some laughs and shed some happy tears along with you all. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day.

Chris mowed the lawn and took down the picket fence. The yard looks bare, but it will be much easier to mow now and we really have no use for it. I'm not sure how to describe where I live anymore. I can't say the Grey house with the white picket fence :confused3

Everyone was pretty quiet today--hope you enjoyed your Mother's Days!

I had a great time at the air show again--and nice to see all those military men too ;)

While I was cleaning I happened to find my stash of old Home Depot Disney paint chips. Yep, before the infamous Mickey head paint chips they had various characters on them and each chip had 3 different colors on them. Their were 5 different characters or that is how many different types I have.
Cinderella, Mickey, 101 Dalmatian, Winnie the Pooh, and Woody

Here is a picture of one of each type

I will probably use them to decorate my door for the cruise but not sure yet.:confused3

Wow you have patience! Great job!
I agree! Great job on the T's Glynis!!!

Sorry to pop in with a vent but I am so frustrated with the Dr.s and this whole thing with Molly. I called the # on our discharge papers as I had yet to hear from them regarding the biopsy results. The lady there informs me that I was to call the hospital for the results myself. Well, that's not what we were told. She gives me the number, which if I was to call I would have had to been psychic as the # is nowhere on our paperwork. I call and have to leave a message with the promise of a return call in 48hrs. Well that then puts us at Monday, 2 weeks from the test. I refuse to wait that long considering it took me about 1 1/2 weeks to get the test scheduled. So I call the office where we 1st went for our initial appt and they tell me to call her DC office directly to leave the Dr. a message. Of course, this is the 1st number I called this morning. So I call back hoping to just leave the Dr. a message but no I get the woman I spoke to earlier and tell her I want to leave a message. So she starts taking the message and then realizes she's talked to me earlier and starts getting a little nasty that I am calling back now. "Did you leave a message for Shirley", "You need to wait til she calls back" "You were told the wrong info at the hospital" and my fave "Well, ma'am, we have lots of other patients too". I am close to tears and basically hang up after I tell her that I am sorry to have bothered her. Needless to say, "Shirley" calls me back not 2 minutes after that phone call and gives me the results. Molly's biopsy came back normal. Ok, great, now what? Well if the Dr. wanted to do more tests she would have contacted you. So I feel no better right now than I did before I got her results. I'm glad there is nothing wrong with her tummy but I have not imagined the past 3 years. And on top of everything Molly's regular pediatrician is on short term medical leave and won't be back til the end of May. I have no idea where to go from here. :confused3
How frustrating!:grouphug:

We spent our second night last night. It's going to take a little getting used to....my migraine is gone, FINALLY!!
:woohoo:

I dont have any pictures from the ceremony on my camera--these are just the after ceremony at my house..

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You look so beautiful and happy!!!:woohoo:

I was very annoyed with one of my closest friends (or so she was) who on Daniel's communion day called me up & said she & her family (Dh & 4 kids) would not be coming.:scared1: Her DD broke her leg a week before & decided that all 6 of them needed to stay home with her. Couldn't she have come with one of her other kids just to show her face? She is Daniel's godmother afterall.
Anyway, I was hurt at first but now I am just numb about it. She hasn't called me since & I am not sure how to proceed with this so-called friendship.:confused3
:grouphug:

I have to tell you guys the best news--

My parents got me the best present for graduation!! Disney dollars and my park hoppers for my trip!! i was going to go tomorrow to buy them :)
Too cool!!!!!

Hey guys, I figured I'd better stop in so you all know that I'm fine. I was in Lansing this week. Since my laptop display went out, I couldn't DIS in the evenings. I am crazy busy on the project at work. I worked all hours of the day and night. It is going very well but there is lots that needs to be done as quickly as possible. Once things get underway, it shouldn't be so bad.

I don't know that I'll be around much this week-end either. We are working on the house and camper getting the house ready for graduation and the camper ready for camping.

I hope that all are well. Here's some pixiedust: for those that need it.
:wizard: Hope your projects goes well!

I just got a call from the potential employer! This is very bizarre - her DH works for Dadboss!:rotfl2: She said Dadboss always says really nice things about me to her DH and she is convinced that they couldn't ask for a better applicant. So that's terrific! She said her current nanny is kind of deciding this weekend whether she wants to keep her hours or give up her job, but there is also the factor that her English fluency isn't very good. That is causing some issues with their DD6 because the nanny really can't read to her and help her with her homework. So let's hope that she decides to bow out gracefully and go spend some time with her new baby, and I can work out somethng with this family to be my new employers. I hope I like them!
Good luck with this and all other job prospects!

I bet you can't wait!

I know this doesn't really mean anything, but I carried Katie really high. In fact, I felt all bruised on my ribs, because she would drum on them. Really hard!

With Jacob, I carried very low. Extremely low! From about month 3 on, he was very firmly settled head down, and ready!
I carried Joe really high and Emma really low.

Welcome home Bernadette!! Can't wait for the pictures!
Are you sure? I've got about 1650 but I won't upload them all.....:lmao:

Hi! I am just Dising..Dana has the kids in the playroom playing gamecube while I have some peace & quiet at the pc. I was looking at info & pictures on Pop on allears. I am so excited to try this resort. What is the best building for us do you think?
I've got lots of photos of Pop. Its a really fun place. I've stayed in the 50's section twice and really like it. I actually like the top floor and have found it nice & quiet. I've never stayed on the 1st floor to compare though.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY DDA!!!!
Happy Mother's Day all!!!

Welcome Home Bernadette - Glad you had a wonderful trip, I hope all your little ones are feeling better today.

I hope everyone has a great Mother's day, I always seem to get in a "funk" on Mother's day since my mom passed away. I'll do my best not to let my family know as they are trying to make the day special for me, but I am in tears as I type this, I miss her so very much.
Thanks!

:grouphug:

So here's what I came up with for the possible P&P party. I know it's not all that Disney but I think DGS will really like the Pirate image.

PirateParty.gif

Of course for me I'll have to make one that says "Forget Pirates"

:rotfl:
Very cool!!!
